Took thier recommendation for solicitors to use, paid a premium for service which turned out to be absolutely useless. I have bought over 12 houses and none have taken this long. They then refused me the keys even when I confirmed completion had occurred. I lost a day's work and a contractor appointment as a result. Sorry won't be using them again
Thanks for the reply Mark, I notice no apology for recommending the slowest solicitor, but no doubt they paid you a good commission.

Thank you for your review John. As you are an experienced property buyer you will accept that we can only release keys once the vendors solicitors gives us this authority. Our team did contact the vendors solicitors 6 times on the day of completion finally getting the key release. The process of completion is something we can only chase. My apologies for delays on completion day but as you are probably are aware this was out of our control.
