The product required was an umbrella - a pink, glitzy, weatherproof umbrella. Debenham's website had such a thing. At £30 it was quite expensive, but it was exactly what was required. We read the Product Description. Perfect. Delivery was swift enough too and not that costly. So far, so good.

Then it arrived.

The thing, billed as handbag sized, was not unless your handbag is more like a golf bag! It was a full sized brolly with nothing to reduce it to something more subtle in its dimensions.

We kept it because it was everything we needed, but like the great Peter Crouch, it's a bit long!
