Charlie fixed our leaking shower and replaced the old worn cartridge. He’s polite, on time and efficient. Will use again.

Arrived on time, chatted through the issue and found it quickly, talked through what needed doing, no hard sell. Everything sorted within a couple hours all clean and tidy.

Absolutely terrible , I wanted my gas fire cut off to allow for other works , they phoned me,took me by suprise , as I did not leave a message and was ringing round companies , I had to pay 144 pounds plus 25 20 pence there was no customer care and when I last spoke to an agent she said yeh right ok , couldn’t care less DO NOT USE this company ,
I was taken unawares and felt pushed into the whole saga , really horrid

Elliot was super professional and friendly, and communicated with me during the job, so that I understood what the problem was and how he was fixing it. Problem was fully and neatly fixed in a short time.

Thames water diagnosed water leak between meter and house stopcock, homefix engineer visited for £120 to inform me I had a leak between meter and stopcock then proceeded with an email estimate for job of approximately £4000 per day ! This included £400 for use of gas! This smacks of being a scam . So I contacted another company who provided an estimate of just under a £1000 plus £75 if gas is required .

Homefix were the first to call me at 7am when I raised the job on checkatrade to plumb in my washing machine. I paid the call out fee of which I was told would be deducted from the value of the job when Elliot arrives. All in all it ended up costing me £500 inc VAT to plumb in my machine, provide a hose and drill a whole in back board of the kitchen cabinet. I was not impressed especially as it cost me more to plumb in the machine than the machine actually cost me. My feelings are this company is not suited to the average residential client (like me) more a company to company service.

Elliot was very polite and professional and gave a very quick and high quality service at short notice. Old 1990's shower and tap mixer unit replaced. Cleaned and released tricky external water stop.

I called 0800 HomeFix Ltd at 8am, by 1300 Luke had arrived
He was very polite, professional and understood the task entirely from start to end. He did a great job and left the bathroom in a clean state. I would contract 0800 again for any future plumbing issues.

Update: 4 days after the initial issue was suspected to have been resolved, it has not. They have agreed to a recall out (at no cost) to rectify (as we had been charged a substantial amount across 2 invoices).

Latest update: still unresolved and seeking quotes from other companies as we've been issued a quotation for a substantial amount by 0800 Homefix.

Brilliant service. Elliott kept me updated on his estimated arrival which was extremely accurate.

Very knowledge and knew exactly what he was doing and why. Certainly highly recommended for any work you need doing.
