I called 24/7 Emergency Plumber for a simple clogged kitchen sink. They sent someone without explaining any fees upfront. After only 45 minutes of work with a basic drain snake, I was suddenly told the cost was $950. When I questioned it, the office staff was rude, refused to explain charges, and demanded payment. The plumber became intimidating and even refused to leave until I said I would call the police. This company uses high-pressure tactics, hidden fees, and intimidation. I strongly warn others not to use their services.

This company was hired to remove a detached snake in a pipe. Made us wait the next day. When a plumber finally arrived, he was not able to get it out and wanted to charge me over $700 for trying and would not leave until paid. My brothers (who not trained plumbers) rented a camera and equipment needed and were able to get it out easily. There is something seriously wrong here. Do not use them and if you do, after reading this review then u too deserved to be ROBBED like I was. If you cant find google reviews on a company, know they should not be hired!

They charged 700 to unclog a shower drain. They did NOT unclog the shower drain. They charged me and left.

RIP OFF. They charged over $1,000 CAD for 20 mins of work and a simple faucet replacement. They didn't say anything about the cost upfront when asked. Stay as far away from this business as possible.

Cancelled within 5 mins of asking for a quote and they said they will charge me $50 anyways even though noone came out. This is 100% a scam. Never call them or give any info!

I was quoted for a $50 call in fee, which I thought was low. I was prepared for $250-300 to change a hose on the toilet that was leaking. I was absolutely ok to pay the hourly rate. He charged me $651 !!
Said they would put a lein on my place if I didn't pay.

This company is going to loot you. The plumber came to my house for giving us a quote and they billed me $337/ for doing nothing. When I called them, they said it would be $50/ for a quot. Do not believe this company, do not deal with this company, this is just a super scam.

This company is operating a racket. For 20 minutes of work with a power auger they charged me 750 dollars Canadian. Do not hire this company under any circumstances, or insist on an estimate up front.

This is a scam business that over charges customers. They quote x amount and ends up sending a bill that is 148% than was what was originally quoted. There is zero transparency. Highly advisable to stay away. They also use pushy tactics into forcing you to pay. Highly suggested to stay away from a business that operates with zero integrity. The BBB has also provided them “F”.

Such a horrible, nasty company. Especially Maria the customer service representative. Charging £400+ without telling upon booking. When asked for a VAT number as the invoice didn't have one on it, Maria starts with it's after 5pm I don't have the details, emailed from a Gmail account. Maria the went on to lie about some transcript she had with me agreeing to labour charges, which we never did we spoke about, only discussed call out fee and repairs. The worst thing about this is I called a Coventry number and spoke with a man, and then calls after this was with this horrible person Maria. My advise stay away smells like a scam third party company. Only saving grace was the plumber who was amazing.

If I could give this company a negative 100 I would! Do not trust this company they are a scam!!! Lady that does customer service is the rudest individual i have ever encountered!! They told us 50$ to come out, man came looked around and said a little 12$ pipe had to be replaced never gave a quote just changed pipe next thing we know company calling saying we owe over 600$!!!! Absolutely not! Our problem is not fixed. Don't ever use this company!!!!!!!

Horrible Horrible company!!!!! I would give zero if possible they should not even exist and go bankrupt. The customer service lady i was talking to was extremely rude. Literally screaming at and swearing at me. No customer service. They literally extorted $100 from me. The plumber came so late and by that i had fixed the problem. He didn’t do anything literally just walked in and told me what i already know. I said i could only pay the $50 booking fee but he wouldnt leave my house until i payed $100.

Stay away from this company. Terrible customer service and not transparent about their costs. I asked multiple times about what the cost would be and they said only $50 and when they gave me a quote of $500 just to replace my bath tub spout I declined their service. They charged me $100 but they originally said only $50 to come and see the issue. They want cash payments and they never provided a receipt or invoice. I called several times for my receipt and nothing. Horrible services.

I called earlier and was informed that they would charge a one-time fee of $50. I repeatedly asked if there were any additional charges besides labor and material costs for inspecting the issue. They assured me that there were no other fees and that the $50 would cover the inspection. However, when they provided me with a high quote just to replace a bulb in my faucet (not the entire faucet), I refused to proceed with the work. At that point, they told me I had to pay $100 for booking and inspection instead. This experience felt disrespectful and raised serious doubts about their credibility

Complete scam artists. $60 charge for a callout ended up costing $800 for 20 minutes of work. They also put up fake reviews here to boost their image, and try to take down negative reviews. Avoid!!!

They do not deserve any stars. Shady company with terrible plumbers. They did a clogged toilet only to have the same issue reoccur in the same week after paying $400. Called customer service and they are asking me to come and pay again. I am convinced based on all have read that this company is just scamming innocent people. Do not use them they are a scam!

The guy showed up after I had done all the diagnostics, banged on a pipe outside and reset the system. Took 7 minutes total. No tools or supplies used.

They charged us $540.

They state on their website that they’re a Google partner and yet, impossible to find their business profile to leave a review. Just disgusting.

First when I ask them the approximate amount I'd be spending, they kept it very misleading by saying it was $50 call fee + labour. Turns out the labour ended up being $700 for an hour of work, replacing my sink's water valve and screwing on my tap handle.

Now a few weeks later, our tap is loose because the plumber damaged the new valve cartridge which I bought prior to his arrival in addition to my drain stopper not being installed.

Super super disappointed. Feel like I was taken advantage of. The only reason there's a second star is because the plumber was a nice guy.

Wish I would’ve seen some of these comments before as I had the same experience, except my issue wasn’t fixed. The plumber came and spent the first 45 minutes on the wrong issue, even after I told him my opinion was a hole in a pipe, he spent 45 minutes tightening the valve before going “oh there is a hole” and putting putty on it and saying “wait 2 hours to see if it works”. It didn’t.

By happenstance another plumbing company was outside my house at this time, and I had them come in and do the work to fix the issue for $280. When I got the 24/7 Plumbers charge, it was $330! Just ridiculous and they say “well we are an emergency plumber” while capitalizing on the Google algorithm to show up for that specific search due to their name.

Do not use!
