This company isnt even worth the 1 star. Nor the title of best emergency services. To be a company who claims to help those in need then charge the earth to rectify a problem. But we have been left with broken floor tiles, that aren't secure and are now a trip hazard. And a bill of nearly £700. The sealant is everywhere

Called a 'local' landline number (01793 384000) for an emergency boiler call out. It didn't even ring, yet 0333 057 5659 called me back. I said that my carbon monoxide alarm was sounding. They went straight into taking down my address details. Told me an engineer would visit within 1 to 1.5 hours and a call out fee if £45 would be charged. No explanation of any hourly charges thereafter, just said labour would be additional.

I booked a call out where you'd think the fee would have been taken? 🤔 It wasn't. I called again 5 minutes later to cancel as this didn't feel right, and was told I needed to pay the £45 as engineer was on the way. I asked them to prove this - obviously they couldn't, instead just reeled off some rubbish, so I put the phone down. Thereafter, I received 2 calls from 07782337595, 4 calls from 07441911032, 3 calls from 07846864738, and 8 calls from 03330575659... All within 2 hours.
This is harassment.
They are desperate for your money.

I am reporting to ACTION FRAUD and TRADING Standards. If we don't report, they'll continue to scam and intimidate people. They do not even have a presence in the UK!! They are a middle man company, employing people who would charge FAR less.

Terrible experience. Woke up with no electricity and the RCD unit hard to understand how to diagnose where the problem was. I pulled out all the plugs in the house but still couldn’t get RCD switch up. Googled and found this company who appeared to have four star reviews and a local phone number. I rang and was told the call out fee was £45 with labour costs on top which sounded reasonable and I was also told an engineer would arrive within 90 minutes. Three and a half hours later he turned up. He asked if I’d removed all the plugs from
their sockets and I said I had. He then asked if I had a garden plug, which I do, but I’d forgotten about it. Of course it was the garden plug that was the problem. He turned it off at the isolator switch and offered to replace the plug with a new one. I said no as I was worried about the cost. He then phoned his office to say how long he had taken and
I heard him say 20 minutes, which was about right. I then had to wait for the office to call me with a price, which they did and I was gobsmacked to hear that it was £345. They later emailed me an invoice and the fee was broken down into £45 call out fee, £30 inspection fee, £80 diagnostic fee and labour £190.
I told them this was ridiculous but they insisted that it was correct. I paid up but will never use them again and will advise others not to either. They are very obviously exploiting people who need their electricity problems sorted out quickly but their fees are extremely misleading as is their website.

Due to an Electrical emergency we sought help from this company. We were aware of the fees involved, but were reassured they could help. The tradesmen arrived clearly unwell he actually told us he was ill. He inspected fuse box and within 10 minutes told us we needed a full rewire. No explanation why. £180 for 10 mins work. Ripped off

SCAM!! was quoted £49 for a call out fee to be hit with a £350 bill. Engineer was lovely and was as equally appalled when I was told how much I was being charged. I will NEVER use this company again. I was unaware this was a ‘middle man company’ who outsources work to local tradesmen and whacks on hefty surcharges. I was told “I was getting a good deal and it would be far more expensive with someone else”. Appalling!

What an absolute scam!!! Avoid at all costs! Called them at 6pm and they assured me someone would be with me within the hour. Called again at 7.30 and I was told an engineer was 2 minutes away. Called again at 8pm and I was told 20 minutes.

The engineer arrived at 9pm. I spoke to the lovely, very professional engineer who uses this agency to help his business and he said he would have charged me far, far less as it was a simple water pressure job. The agency charged £229, he would have charged £100.

Ignore the £49 call-out that draws you in and ignore the ‘within the hour’ promise!

Do not use this company! Absolute scam, sounds the same as all other reviews…£49 call out charge with no commitment after diagnosis has been given. 10 minutes after ‘highly skilled engineer’ poured boiling hot water down the sink pressed the restart button on the boiler and they were ringing demanding £300 to be bank transferred.
No diagnostic details, invoice, didn’t want our email address to document anything. Refused to pay thankfully as 20 minutes later the error message came back on.
Need to be investigated as feel sorry for those that are intimidated into paying.

Didn’t want to even put one star. £49 call out said clearly on the phone I’m under no obligation to pay any more until agreed. Then after we found the boiler can’t be fixed tried charging me £240. Then the lady on the phone was rude and said I’ve repeated my self like 100 times. Shame she didn’t understand any of the first 99 times.

Avoid at all costs!!! Absolutely awful company! Called at 17.24 to be told 1 hour call out 1 hour and a half max. Called them at 1.5 hours as heard nothing to be told the engineer would call me. 15 minutes later still no call so I called them again the engineer then called me and told me he had only just been given the job and would be with me within the hour. I told him I would not be in and to cancel. “Customer Services” called me very aggressively to tell me I would still have to pay the call out charge! I said absolutely not he hasn’t even been here and will not be here in the time advised.

I moved into a new flat and there was issues with the electricity. It was the weekend and so I couldn’t call my estate agent. So in a panic I picked up the phone and rang this company who claim to be an emergency electrician service. They said they’re callout fee was £49 plus VAT. They said they would send somebody within the hour and then it took them three hours to send somebody. This person as soon as he arrived, his behaviour was rude and unprofessional. He had no clue what he was talking about, and I started to doubt whether he was really an electrician. He did absolutely nothing to investigate or fix the problem. He had no tools with him. And then before he left, he demanded that I make a bank transfer of £469, claiming that it was an out of hours service. This amount was not at all agreed to in advance and totally unjustified because he did absolutely no work. He refused to leave my flat until I sent him the amount on the spot. The company wouldn’t even invoice me even though I requested an invoice afterwards. No price breakdown. When I reported the scam to my bank and try to get my money back, they told me that this is a civil dispute. I’m reading all these reviews here and it’s shocking how this company are still being allowed to operate even though they’re taking large amounts of money from people like candy from a baby.

I should have read these reviews before calling these scammers. The call-out charge seemed reasonable…Despite me asking for an hourly rate they refused to provide any. This was the first red flag, but we wanted our heating sorted immediately. So they arrived to my house, the guy was incompetent. Spent the first 10 minutes insisting that he couldn’t take out the boiler cover (which wasn’t true, as other have serviced it before) then he went upstairs and said that the pump was running ok (which wasn’t correct) then he said that the problem was the boiler fan. Only for this they charged me £412.80 which includes the £50 call out plus £95 “inspection charge” and £200 “diagnostics charge” plus VAT of course. I paid (my mistake) via bank transfer to this guy after being shocked by such unreasonable request. I told them that I would have called someone else to fix the boiler. It turned out their “diagnosis” was completely wrong. The boiler fan was totally fine, it was the pump and a flow switch. I will request a refund for the “diagnostic” charge, and if they refuse I will bring them to court, because they are in breach of the consumer act 2015 for not providing service with care and skills. If you find yourself in the same situation, do not pay them. Challenge them. Do not make my same mistake. EDIT: I reported them to trading standards via citizens advice. I would recommend you do the same.

Ridiculous. Stay away. Call out charge sounds reasonable at £49. No estimate and need heating after Christmas. Slapped with £349 after a 15 minute fix by the engineer. After payment remember that the website says 20% off (still on there!) so I emailed - 4 emails later with no response.
Scam - as someone else says, how can these businesses get away with it by remaining unregulated?

Came home to no heating so called this company and arranged an engineer to visit 3 days later at 11.00.

I called at 11.15 to check and was informed someone was on their way and they would call me back with an eta. They called back at 11.45 to say they had not managed to find an engineer to do the job.

I had a burst pipe in my first floor bathroom which was flooding water through the ceiling into the kitchen and living room below.

The plumber this company sent, a Peter Hawketts, charged me £631.20 for the job. All he did was turn off the main water supply and change part of a flex hose. This should have taken 30-45 minutes at the most. He charged me for 2 hours. First he said he needed to go out and buy the parts, which took him 45 minutes. (Which plumber comes to an emergency job without simple equipment?!) He then sat around in the bathroom for over an hour pretending to be taking that time to fix the pipe.

I later googled him and found that was previously been convicted for fraud - for making his customers pay extortionate prices for small jobs that were valued at far less. He was jailed and ordered by a court to pay back £22,000 to his customers. Yet this company continues to hire him while he continues to rip off customers.

I complained to the company and they were rude and provided no resolution. NEVER WILL I BE CONTACTING THEM AGAIN!

I called this company to do a fairly small job, but which I needed to be done as soon as possible so that I could turn my water back on.

An engineer was supposed to arrive within 2 hours, but took 6 hours. They would not tell me the price of the work before it was carried out, and then after it was done, they told me that I owed them £489 for less than one hour's labour with no materials (I am based in the north of england so not as if i was paying London rates). I had no option other than to pay as there was a man standing in my house waiting for me to transfer the money before he left, and I am a woman who lives alone, so this was quite intimidating.

When I looked into how I might get my money back as it is illegal to overcharge in this way, it turns out that the company has no physical presence in the UK and operates purely through subcontractors.

Do not use this company - you will be absolutely ripped off.

Disgusting rip off merchants. £49 ca out fee.then £300for less than 10 minute job of tightening a kitchen tap wich supposed to have stopped a leak ,sjocked at the cost is an unferstatement !!after he left we found it was still leaking so phoned again lady said she would ring the enhin6to come back,4 more calls and still no one came i rang next morning they said there was no record of me calling back but he would contact the engineer come ,engineer arrived and said I need a new tap and has one on his van but would cost £60 ,,,out of sheer desperation on christmas eve i agreed to him fitting the tap ,to get up christmas day and find more water than before in the cupboard under the sink.called the company again no one arrived to fix the problem so I called a different plumber who said the fixing had been overtightened which damaged the washers which allowed water to flow through the joints and the valves had been damaged .I have emailed the company for a refund but after reading other complaints on here I don't hold out much hope of a reply or refund ,I feel im just another 71 pensioner that's been well and truly ripoed off .I Was so shocked at the cost. He rang the office for the cost told the girl he was there 10 minutes she rang me back to give me the price, I was sooooo shocked!!! the engineer that came said if I didn't pay the £349 his van would not move from outside my house .
THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS AND SHUT DOWN.Which im going g to do after the christmas and new years holiday if I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD. OVER £400 to have worse leaks than I started with that is half of my pension for the month ,I feel gutted and SKINT !!!!

Quoted £49 for a call out then charged £269 for a diagnosed of our boiler.
I have called them 4 times for an invoice so I can claim it back and they have fobbed me off and put the phone down. Trading standards next port of call....

Called yesterday as no hot water, called them said it would be £49 call out charge plus vat, lovely Plummer came round couldn’t fault him but when it came to the price for just sorting the pressure water out the company tried to charge me £389 I told them I wasn’t paying that as he was here all of 20 mins for a little job I managed to get the price down to £250 even then I couldn’t believe it. Wouldnt give me a set price over the phone even though I told them it was a f75 fault. Plummer great company scammers

Scammed. All my fault really but arrived home on Boxing day to no heating or hot water. Called this company in a panic without thinking and fully scammed like everyone else here. Simple re-pressurisation of boiler, 10 min job, charged £439. I don't know how companies like this can go unregulated.

We have been scammed too with this service. We booked for an emergency visit to see a leaked pipe for a call out charge of £49. The guy visited the property and couldn’t fix the leak. Infact made it worse and charged us £459.

Literally these people are hooligans. They should be stopped from working and should be removed from the plumbing services list.
