I bought a 1Gbps package yesterday and booked installation. Less than 24 hours later, the installation was cancelled without my request and I couldn’t get hold of anyone to explain why.
Gill in sales was especially unhelpful and rude. I was passed around for 25 minutes with no answers.
I only went with this company because I thought Vodafone, Sky, or Virgin weren’t available in my area. Turns out they are, and I’ve now placed an order with one of those instead.
Don’t waste your time with this company and Gill.
If there is a negative rating I would give that, extremely ridiculous service provider, as a customer you can't write an email since they don't allow email from customers, if you call them the wait times are more than 45 mins, so most of the customers give up. no customer care, no one can raise a complaint and even if I do, no one replies to the complaint. every time a new person picks the phone and tells you to wait while they check the account and reads the info and tell you the same thing. no solutions are offered they just want to rob you and your money, never going to suggest this.
I just changed my network to 4th utility all was fine until I couldn’t connect some of my devices at home as they 2.4ghz so the network had to create another 2.4ghz connection on the top of the 5ghz.
Now I came from abroad to find out that I need to pay an extra £5 so I can have my private IP address to connect the Xbox never had this before with any other network and this wasn’t stated anywhere when I signed in with 4th utility.
Rip off stay away!!!

Initially I had problems, but this was not 4th Utility's fault. My laptop even with a 5 ethernet cable connected could not replicate the 250 Mbps speed I expected. I Initially tried using a 6 ethernet cable as directed by 4th utility. When I bought a second hand gaming PC the problem was resolved. It appears my 3 year old Samsung laptop couldn't work at 250 Mbps speed. Since then I have been getting above 250Mbps as long as I use the 6 th ethernet cable. I haven't tried using WiFi when using the cycling ZWIFT, ROUVY or WAHOO training apps. I don't want to drop the connection especially if I am racing.
