Acer Laptops 

Never buy an Acer laptop! Stopped working after 7 months, sent it for repair and waited 3 weeks for it to come back. It came back without the charger, which l was told to send with laptop, there is no charge in the computer so don't even know if it is working now. After several useless phone calls to customer services, who always promise to get back but never do! I have been told the charger wasn't sent with laptop. l insisted it had been so yet again told they would look into it and get back. Will have to buy another charger. Company and customer service disgusting. AVOID.

Don't buy an Acer laptop. I have an Acer Swift 3, 512 gb and from the day it was bought it has been utterly unreliable. The cursor and keyboard operations are and have always been, jumpy and difficult to control and a repeated problem has been that for no apparent reason I can shut the laptop down when I have finished work and when I go back to it the next day the cursor will have disappeared.It's now out of warranty so I've had to have it repaired twice. An expensive waste of money the failings of which have caused multiple problems for me. Don't buy Acer products.

So poor. My daughter (nursing student) bought an Acer Swift 3 for £650. After 12 months and 2 weeks (therefore 2 weeks outside of warranty), it stopped charging. Rang Acer, quoted Consumer Law Act 2015 (I.e.product not fit for purpose, has not lasted a satisfactory amount of time, manufacturing flaw) and the lady on the phone was so rude, refused to listen to my side of the story, absolutely zero empathy and zero customer relation skills. Please don't user Acer. Apparently the charge port on this model is welded onto the motherboard so at least a £250 repair. It's now an expensive doorstop.

Nooit koop ik nog iets van Acer. De laptop Aspire vraagt een eeuwigheid om op te starten (ook al zit je naast de browser) en nadien gaat de batterij jjuist geteld (en met "batterijbesparing" aan) nog 20 minuten mee. Mag je hem alweer herladen. Er is degelijker speelgoed voor kinderen dan er (dure) goede laptops van Acer zijn. Weggegooid geld!

zn slechte kwaliteit het toetsenbord en als je het aankaart bij Acer gooien ze het op gebruikers schade.
ik heb een andere Acer laptop van zn 10 jaar oud en daar zit alle verf nog op van het toetsenbord.. en 1000maal meer gebruikt. erg jammer en kan hoog en laag springen maar een vergoeding zit er niet in. voel me echt opgelicht en zit nu met een laptop van 1000 euro plus en een gebladerd toetsenbord. KOOP HET NIET: NITRO 5

Helemaal goed! We hadden een Acer laptop die niet meer op te starten was. Via de helpdesk en de reparatieservice is de laptop ruim binnen de verwachte tijd hersteld en werkt het weer prima.

My one is Acer Swift3
Good: Light and slim
Bad: Cap Lock -no light on confusing user. Graphic card performance and watch some video clips not smooth. Bad designed Light for Keypad need turn off when you start.

A four year old Chromebook has developed a fault. Acer completely ignore the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and demand £49.95 to assess the laptop before a repair charge is added.

With 2 years of updates left it makes no financial sense to me to spend £49.95 plus the repair charge.

I will buy a new laptop BUT not from Acer.

Read their Corporate Social Responsibility greenwash and consider that my four year old laptop is on its way to recycling.

Computer broke after 18 months and refused a refund.

I have been really disappointed about acer. Gave 900 euros and the laptop is not working , it stucks all the time , doesn’t load fast enough and the worst if you use it for more than 2 hours , it starts loading more and more

Brand new Acer. Right speaker not working. Returned for repair. Got it back after one month. Fault not fixed. Asked for refund. Acer refused refund and refused to communicate further. Looking into legal action to get money back since it was not fit for purpose. Previous Acers were good otherwise I'd never have bought it. No useful customer service help.

My laptop was broken sent to acer to fix it they held my product until I paid 50 pound to send it back to me.
Which I didn't do so they kept my laptop which cost me over 200 pounds.
Not buying from them again

You never know when you have caps or off because the system is so slow and there is no light on the keypad you have to wait when the system decides to tell you. Sooooooo slow don't bother buying one od these.

So painfully slow . I am sick of life since bought this , everytime I use this start updating then keep restarting in middle of doing something. Simple don't buy

Brand new. Straight away loads of windows errors. Takes 20 minutes to boot. Slow to do anything at all. Decides to just stop working in the middle of something for no apparent reason. Screen decides to go blank white at random times when it suits and comes back again when it suits. Get a whirling circle (timer) waiting for something to happen even though I've not asked it to do anything. Always had MACs. Never have an Acer/Windows ever again.SO BAD!!! Its basically unusable. Ohh and try to use Edge for the Internet - forget it. Its so painful that it is just simply unusable. Im literally considering throwing £500+ in the bin. Im not even trying to do anything advanced or complicated. Simple everyday tasks not achievable.

Don't every buy this brand. It never works and takes long time to load. There is no form or customer support

Laptop under guarantee.Fault developed. Got a DIY service. Advised to reset battery. IT Expert told me this was responsible for the disruption/loss of email, which Acer denied.I was misinformed, refused assistance and to speak to a manager. Admin staff totally incompetent. Acer Aspire Laptop very poor value for money

Horrible experience with this crowd. Laptop never delivered and would not refund me in a timely manner do that I could purchase another one from a different vendor. They said they had to wait for a investigation to be completed, basically accusing me of fraud, outrageous.

Customer service non existence can't get through on phone and they hardly reply won't be buying acer in the future

I’d put zero if I could. Honestly dreadful customer service and experience all over. They sent me the incorrect product. When informed of their mistake they asked me if I wanted to keep it (a laptop not even half of the price of what I paid!!) when I told them this and said I wanted it replaced with the laptop I actually ordered, I was sent a returns label and told I had 14 days to organise a return or I wouldn’t get my refund.
