Acer Laptops 

I have completely lost faith in Acer now. I have a Acer Nitro gaming monitor and the sound output from it is terrible my mobile is lounder than this monitor both with headphones and using the built in speakers. After a Acer laptop failed within 6 months and now my monitor I will not be buying an acer product again!

Bought Acer Laptop 3 months Old only as ex display looks spanking new worked one month , then total balckout twice sent it to Acer repairs no times or ETA and their customer services only keeps saying I think one month I think maybe more. what a f***ing rip. never again. hy HP 15 years old still working and never blinked one day. The laptop was returned one week after this review than blacked out 3 times within one hour . Re sent back to Acer and still waiting. 8 Oct 2021. This is a toy not a pc worth £470

I bought my Acer laptop one month ago. It switched off and never switched on. I contacted Acer they have arranged a pickup, and they have never provided any updates after collected the laptop; when will fix the laptop. It has been more than two weeks since they have received my laptop worth more than £500, and they still have not given me any dates. It looks like they don't have any SLA to follow. I am not sure how long will it take for them to return my laptop. It is full of pain to deal with after-sale support during the warranty period. I will think 100 times before buying anything from Acer.

Worst online shopping experience ever in my life customer service is so bad. Let not talk about the worst customer service. online store especially in uk cancel order no reason take my money and cancelled it good job wash of my time and money .Got all the screen shot thank for order confirmed and cancelled email.can i be able to prosecute them?
In short worst company ever a real and true online store but work like amateur

I bought an Acer nitro 5 and within 3 weeks I found out overheating issues temperatures going to 90-97 in balanced mode while playing an 11 year old game with low requirements. I noticed a thin gray line on the screen as well. I claimed warrarnty, and they are refusing to exchange the piece saying they only offer repairs which may charge. The customer service is absolute garbage the people are unhelpful and rude. PLEASE DONT BUY ACER EVER.

Regret this purchase. Not a year old and 3 problems. Last problem had to return it, cost £12.99 to get it back..

Had Acers before. Got this one as a replacement for a HP Laptop that 'died' after 18months. A lot of the Acer layouts have changed - to the detriment of the user. But on whole a safe, sturdy laptop. This is my 3rd. The previous one lasted from 2007-2019 (now repaired so can use it again) the one previous to that 1997-2007 (still working but the update in 2007 did not work correctly) This one, I bought in May 2021

van Acer. Vele reviews gaan over de zwakke scharnieren. Bij mij zijn bij alle twee de laptops van Acer het rechter scharnier gebroken. Een laptop heb ik voor weinig verkocht de tweede heb ik nog. Reparatie had na de garantie periode inderdaad geen zin. Moest rekening houden met een dure reparatie. Niet laten repareren na onderzoek ging € 40 kosten. Niet gedaan dus. Heb inmiddels een andere gekocht maar Acer is voor mij , en voor een vriendin met het zelfde probleem, een NOOIT MEER KOPEN produkt.

Avoid at all cost worst customer service known to man , had my laptop 6 months its spent 3 and a half weeks and counting broken , first time they repaired it on the cheap at some place called stone group , came back 3 days later literally blows up sparks everywhere, smoke coming out of it completely bricked , so obviously we'll mithed called acer they said they was gonna repair it this time and because it was a health and safety hazard likely receive a replacement or a refund, few days later sone one from acer calls says it will be a replacement or refund as its health and safety, 3 or 4 days pass not heard out so ring them again , we will look into it for you , again nothing for a few days then recieved a email your laptop is awaiting parts to be repaired lol and now every message goes unanswered or if you ring they deny ever saying they said it would be a replacement or refund even though they record there calls and this has been said a few times , utter useless trading standards here i come

Bought Acer Spin, 3 months after warranty finished, screen has gone faulty, Acer says, costs of repair maybe the costs of new laptop, avoid this manufacturer, unless you buy their rubbish products for 1 year. Very dissapointed, I will never buy their products.

They've come up trumps for me with a full refund for a five-month old duff Aspire. Very good support.

This is the worse company to buy from when there is a fault you have to wait over 8 weeks for a repair, & then it comes back with another fault and another month’s wait. Customer services are rubbish and rude their repair company is incompetent and very rude. DONT BUY ACER THEY DONT HELP YOU WHEN THINGS GO WRONG WORSE COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH

I bought an Acer Aspire 5 in September 2020. I remain pleased with the computer function. By April 2021 the hinge began to come loose & distort. I returned it to Acer for repair under warranty. Acer refused to accept that this was a manufacturing fault, because it was not a recognised problem, and said that I must have damaged it.

This is absolutely untrue. The laptop had not left my house for 4 months and for weeks prior to the fault I had been recovering from surgery. During that time the laptop was only ever on my lap in a chair or on a table next to me. No one else had use of the laptop and there was no evidence of damage to the case. At no point did I lift the laptop without closing the lid first.

Acer would not return my laptop unless I paid for the repair (£150) or for the return postage (£50). I felt that I had no option than to accept the former.

At every stage of this process I was met with incompetence and indifference. Promised return calls were never made and no apology was ever received. I have made a formal complaint but, again, no response has been received within the required time.

Reading the reviews on Trustpilot and other sites my treatment seems to be not so much bad luck as company policy. They effectively accuse their customers of lying, refuse to engage with them and then effectively blackmail them to get their laptop back.

No matter how attractive the purchase price may appear, be aware of this sort of hidden cost in the future. I will never buy Acer again and will advise anyone who asks not to do so either

jammer!!!!!!! mijn man had een laptop gekocht van acer . zijn de scharnieren afgebroken. al na een jaar geen garantie natuurlijk. Nu het ons overkomen ga je zoeken. Het blijkt heel vaak voor te komen. niet normaal . 5 a 600 euro voor niks. want de laptop is op een gegeven moment onbruikbaar. J e kunt natuurlijk er wel weer 2 a 300 euro tegenaan gooien om het te laten repareren. never.

Absolutely awful. I am not a person to normally complain but please do not waste your money.

Does what it says on the tin! 2nd laptop we have ordered off Acer and we are very pleased.
