Acer Laptops 

Acer Swift 3 laptop. Very happy, love the very quick boot up, the backlit keyboard & fingerprint scanner but sound is poor and have tried several changes to the touchpad but personally I prefer the separate left/right click buttons.

Bought an Acer Aspire 3 15.6" with Intel Core i5 1 TB HDD drive several months ago. This is by far the worst laptop I have ever had. Performance is so slow from the minute you switch it on and it doesn't ever improve. Currently trying to restore factory settings to see if that does any good but it has been stuck on 79% for over two hours so even a re-set doesn't work! You have been warned.

0 stars for this company. Acer is a joke, my brand new gaming laptop, 1200£, overheating at 96-97 degrees after a couple of months. I've sent the laptop to be repaired, waited for 3 weeks just so they could tell me it has been damage by spilled liquid and that they do not cover.
I told them I want my laptop back, as it is, they asked for 47£ for delivery cost and I have to wait another 2 weeks.
SO ONE MONTH WASTED OF MY TIME, THE LAPTOP IS NOT REPAIRED AND I HAVE TO PAY 47£ FOR NOTHING.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!

I bought an Acer Aspire A515/45 with Ryzen 5 4500U processor thinking that this super fast 6 core chip, faster than its Intel competitor, would make this laptop great....little did i know :-(
During normal use the processors are at 100% utilization a lot of the time & when this happens the mouse stops working. It is so annoying when you are trying to click on something and the pointer jumps all around it stopping and starting moving again.
With the system using some of the processor and a vpn using a bit, if you open up a couple of web pages or do a couple of things at once everything freezes and the mouse stops working.
When the laptop wakes up it also freezes for 20s or so while everything refreshes.
I think i should have gone for an Intel chip or a Ryzen with multi threading.
This is the worst laptop i have ever owned!

There are a lot of good companies that make computers, and Acer is definitely not one of them. The computers are slow, they don't work or they are just not good. Acer is a complete disgrace to this world and should go bust.

Faulty computer. Faulty keyboard, false advertising on the refresh rate of the screen and to top it off the CPU fan has self destroyed after 4 months of a peaceful lifespan. Support website is BEYOND ABYSMAL and no-one helps.

Absolute dog**** company, never buying anything from them again. Asus for me.

Horrible , worst laptop. I bought it from Abans LG Sri Lanka and it was a faulty laptop with software and hardware issues, after tormenting situation finally got my money refunded. I dont recommenda Acer Aspire 5 to anyone.

I have always been pleased with my laptop, never had a big problem with it :)
Only sad part is the chargers that come with acer are thin and bend, a new one costs £40 :(

Horrible service, purchased a laptop last month and cancelled it as it will take two weeks for them to progress! Never receive refund, no responses. Have to appeal the case with paypal.

REALLY HORRIBLE SERVICE , don't send repair centre anything, it will be worse than it has been. I had my desktop not working within one year warranty, I had it pre tested by third party, it's a CPU problem, so I posted as instructed and after 3wks was told it is a LCD Panel problem which is not under the warranty, I wrote them and ask how could they prove that it is the LCD problem without warranty but not the CPU problem with warranty? then they send me a link that my SCREEN crashed like it was done by a heavy duty hammer. MY GOD!!! Could I get any legal support on this? It is totally exceeding my imagination.

I bought this laptop 26 February 2021 from Harvey Norman, Chadstone. It is just one week old.
Well it is rubbish. I even bought a 3 year extended warranty in good faith and MS Word.
The keyboard "keys" are faulty, the back light keyboard works sometime and the screen is
useless, way to dark. And this is their FULL HD 1080. What a joke. I waited for weeks for this to be delivered. What a waste of my time. I fear that this machine will sit in their workshop for weeks while they fix this crap. I now have to look around for another laptop. I am very annoyed. I want a full refund. First and last time for me with Acer.

Worst laptops EVER!!! I spent a fortune on a new laptop for college and I really regret it. It now sits in a press and when I do take it out it takes a couple of goes to turn it on and then the screen blacks out, it freezes or a screen static appears. I hate it! The worst laptop we have ever had!

Faulty machine, goes dead, problems with battery, heats dangerously, touchpad not functioning, wifi keeps dropping and lousy customer service on top of that. I'll never buy Acer again.

I bought Acer Aspire 5 laptop. The tracking pad has stopped working. Very difficult to contact the customer service, only way to contact is by web form. They do not give out any telephone numbers or email addresses to communicate with ease.
I am very disappointed with the way they communicate with their customers. I had to fill in the web form three times before they gave the number 03717600000 for for chargeable repair. Sadly this number does not work. I fed up and give up totally.

I will never buy another Acer laptop product. I will discourage my friends and others to check first before buying any of their products.

Don’t recommend acer laptop after one year stop working, I’m contacting customer service and nobody answer into my emails 👎👎👎

we have acer aspire ES1-533 laptop we bought 2nd hand we need to change supervisor password on bios so rang acer up and what they said we did but doesn't even work they are a bunch of muppets just like microsoft

Ordered 2 laptops for grandchildren's home schooling. Got colour wrong. Cancelled within half an hour of order, by phone and email. Laptops still sent out and charged for in full. Trying to arrange return and refund. Need a return note. Appalling customer service. To date, 3 conversations with customer services, promises made to send form, nothing received. Call centre apparently closed today to phone calls, .Appalling customer service. Call centre very noisy, call handlers have poor English and indistinct voices and are rude, incompetent and don't do what they say they will. Avoid this company if you think you may need customer services because it is non existent. Only gave one star because I can't give none.

A great value for the money, i enjoy working my laptop every time i use it

Oplaadpoort defect van een weinig gebruikte Acer laptop, tijdens de garantieperiode. Hierop is men niet in staat om alleen deze poort te vervangen (internetprijs €15,00) maar doet men het hele moederbord a €320,00. Voor een laptop met een nieuwwaarde van €449,00 buiten proportioneel. Aangezien dit in hun optiek gebruikersschade is kosten voor de eigenaar. Indien niet tot reparatie werd overgegaan zijn de onderzoekskosten € 117,00. Die niet betaald hoefden te worden als ik afstand deed van de laptop. Kortom ik denk dat er iemand bij Acer gelukkig is geworden van mijn Acer die een minimaal defect had. Al met al zeer ontevreden over de geboden oplossing en het product.
