Acer Laptops 

My son's Laptop battery went out. We only had the computer six months they made me pay to ship the computer to them.
How unethical.

My Acer laptop is 1 week from being 1 yr old and completely shutdown. There is no life whatsoever. I am not able to complete the info on the website, for some unknown reason, and I've been on hold with tech support for 1Hr and 23 minutes. Very disappointed with service and the Company.

Acer, I want to give you my money, but clearly you don’t need it. Just read this... Phone call 1) 18 minutes waiting to talk to “technical” at the only number I can find on their website. They couldn’t help, or maybe didn’t want to, he mumbled a sales number to call. Phone call 2) another 10 minutes wait to a call centre in South Africa where a clearly disinterested agent couldn’t help, and again referred me to the “technical “ team I initially called. Phone call 3) I eventually gave up after 41 minutes wait. I have a screen grab to prove it if only it could be uploaded. If this is how bad it is trying to buy a computer from them (Concept D7 Pro) then imagine how bad it will be when you need a repair or any other support!

Well compared to most of you my experience of Acer is positive - I have purchased 2 Acer laptops one of which did died after 6 years, in my mind I got value for money as it was used every day. The other one is now coming in to its 6th year and still going strong - Battery life has reduced as would be expected but again it is used every day (i'm on it right now). The one that died was purchased in the UK, the one that I'm on at the moment was purchased in the USA where I use to live. They were identical computers just purchased in different countries.

The computers both where used for usual daily activities plus I ran CorelDraw and VideoStudio on both and the internet. Never downloaded games on the one that died but this one has in the past when my son had it.

I'm now looking to upgrade and treat myself and Acer is my first choice.

2. Seine Komponenten sind ungefähr 600€ wert
3. Extrem viele Probleme nach 3 Jahren
4. Nach 5 Jahren verursacht der Laptop einen Kurzschluss... Der Laptop ist kaputt...

Hätte ich früher schon ein bisschen mehr Wissen über Laptops/PCs gehabt hätte ich ihn sowieso nie gekauft...

I recently got a Acer Nitro 7 Gaming laptop. I love it! This is coming from someone who has owned an Alienware laptop. The Nitro 7 has more room for upgrades than the Alienware with comparable specs. Nitro 7 cones with 9th gen Intel i7, Gforce 1050, 8gb ram 256 SSD. Red back lit keyboard that feels like a desktop keyboard. Its light and slim. There are 2 SSD bays and one for A SATA drive. Can max out ram at 32gb. I call it the little monster. There is onboard CPU and GPU cooling system that works well thats a lot more quite than other laptop and desk top cooling systems I’ve had.

This is a great buy, Don’t bother with a console, spend another $200-$300 and get something proper

I have spent alot of money on an i7 Acer Swift laptop and it might aswell be an i3...well we are talking about acer aren't we? Dont do it! Go for anything BUT acer! I made the mistake of going for them lol, the laptop freezes and is no good, absolute trash

I will never buy another Acer product. I have has an Acer Aspire ES 15 for less than 3 years. Throughout this time, the laptop has repeatedly frozen during sessions - this is bearing in mind I essentially only use an Office suite and occasionally an internet browser, and never try to multi-task because this shoddy product cannot handle it - requiring a hard reboot each time. No prizes for guessing that leads to a very dead hard drive.

Acer customer support blame everyone but themselves. 'If you're using it a lot it's inevitable.' When challenged with the aforementioned information they repeat the same stock response or then blame the Windows update process. Why manufacture a product that can't adequately run a Windows OS?

Further to this, I was advised to source an Acer hard drive online, but the product is jo available on their store. The cost just for shipping would have been £50 which to be frank is, in my opinion, more than the product is worth.

I think it's time to source a new, non-Acer product regardless of the cost.

More like negative one..bought a acer computer in jan and ive already got it sent off twice for the same freaking problem. I didnt drop it or anything but my computer still works, the audio and all still works and i can hold a light to the screen and see it on and playing. Its like someone turn down my contrast very low and i cant get it back up. Same problem both times now..WITHIN LIKE 2 MONTHS its basically new. I absolutely dont recommend acers computer to anyone!! Its slow and lags alot! My kids do their school work on this all their work now im sitting here with. This cornavirus stuff and lockdown, no computer, no schoolwork now for a week and the same problem with a 2 month span!! BECAUSE OF YALL MY KIDS ARE A WEEK BEHIND IN SCHOOL( no biggie whatever but still). I will not buy another from this company acer!!

Bought couple of screens to work from home in those times, the quality is very good. My eyes not hurting like before, i am happy

Bought an Acer Aspire F 15 a couple of years ago (from PC World) and never really had any problems until I decided to use my built in webcam as a necessity; just as everyone else is, in the middle of this Covid-19 pandemic. Only ever used it once before for a survey.
So.I clicked on the App and it came up saying "we can't find your camera". Thus, I contacted Acer Tech Support. When I eventually got through some guy on the other end, who I could hardly hear told me to try this that & the other. Nothing worked to resolve the issue and he was becoming impatient with me & quite rude actually so I gave up.
I tried all sorts of common sense things but still no joy so I rang them again and this time the 'supposedly tech support' guy who answered was of the same attitude. He told me the only option was to do a full Windows 10 reinstall; and so I did.
Rang again and explained that nothing still hadn't worked and the explanation then was "you bought it from PC World, they'll have to fix it", and he then cut me off.
If you've got a faulty Acer, don't bother contacting them. Go to your local PC shop as I intend to do. You may have better luck.
I will never buy another Acer product.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I RECIEVED A FAULTY PC AND DESPITE TWO PHONE CALLS REQUESTING A REFUND THEY DECIDE TO REPAIR AND RETURN .

I wish I could give this - minus 10 but this is the lowest rating and far to generous. Acer Aspire 1 should NEVER be in the same sentence as the words computer or device. It is total crap it barely has enough memory to open and i can;t even download Office 365 as there is not the space despite me deleting everything I can to free space. Acer don't give a damn NEVER go near an Acer computer - you have been WARNED

Awful experience with this company. I ordered a laptop and paid by credit card and was given a delivery date of 4 days. On the evening of day 3 I got an email saying they needed ID before the sale could go ahead. I emailed the, back asking what they meant by ID as the credit card was my ID. They replied again saying they needed ID without saying what they meant. I cancelled the order and asked for verification that the order was cancelled and that my credit card hadn’t had funds taken from. Obviously this verification never happened. Avoid.

Complete garbage laptop. Got it 3 days ago and now it’s stuck in a windows installation reboot. Never buying Acer again

Warning!! Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop is faulty the ink on keys wears in less than 4 months, so no words visible.

My case, 3 months after purchase of laptop experienced words wearing of keys, so I sent it back to Acer for repair under warranty as this should not be happening to a new laptop.

Acer is refusing to repair as they say it is wear! And want me to pay £169.99 for new key caps. Be aware only 2 keys have this fault in my case.

I refused as it is clearly a manufactured fault, they will not even send me back laptop not repaired unless I pay £49.95.

Now above a thousand pounds down and have no goods.

When I bought my Acer Aspire E15 2 years ago, I had to go to the service center right after I opened my brand new laptop because theres already a slow/low ram the first time I used it. I think they changed the ran but I still don't think my laptop was performing enough for the spec it has. For the record, I never dropped my laptop but there's a problem with how the parts of my laptop are attached to each other. I just accepted all the f*** up things about because I hate going back and forth to the service center plus all the money I'm losing because I can't work without my laptop. Now Im not even sure I'm laptop is going to make its 2 years mark. Its parts are starting to break apart!! Again I never dropped my laptop. My mom was also using acer and it's also shi*ty

Bought an Acer Aspire and now wish I hadn't. It's the worst computer I have ever had. It's so slow to do even the most basic tasks. It was ok for the first 3 months, then started getting slower and slower. I binned all the pre installed apps that I could, but made no difference. Also, Windows 10 is the worst OS I have ever used. Avoid both, go Apple.

I buy Acer 3 and I loose money.It's not worth $50 , it's very,very slow I buy new one 2 weeks ago in feb.20-2020.Lenovo is like racing car comper to acer (3 months old) I wont buy tise garbage acer in my life never.
