Very easy to deal with, great shuttle service at Tullamarine. We received a new hybrid toyota which was brilliant during this fuel crisis. Would definitely use Ace again

Rented a car at Queenstown, called 5 times and no one answered the phone. Had to pay $50 for a taxi. They had given away our booked vehicle. Not a great time with grumpy childeren. Do not recommend!!

I had paid for the rental car and arrived at the airport to pick up the car. I arrived just as the office was closing at 5pm because my flight was delayed 30 mins, and they just left me stranded at the airport with no car. I had to find another car, and they wouldn’t give me my money back. I won’t use Ace car rentals again.

P.S Not only me waiting. 7 other different people affected in the same scenario also.

Always check reviews before hiring. 1st issue. I hired a hybrid, wasn't until I arrived at my location this was not the case. My bad should've checked before I left. 2nd issue when I realized 1st issue I noted the registration was out a whole month. I notified company of this and reply was we will put it in the notes and why didn't I check the vehicle before I left. Duly noted. When returning the car was meet with rudeness and dismissal and once again told they will put issues down in the notes??. This was not noted at all. 2 weeks later and still waiting for deposit return. Not sure if it's going to be returned. Moral of story check everything before you leave and make sure the vehicle meets all your contract requirements because the company will not and may hold you responsible.

I was charged for a windscreen chip that I am pretty sure we did not cause. The company provided false pictures of the car pre rental which did not reflect the state of the car when we picked it up (they confirmed this). Customer service/claims just ignored all my concerns and as other people have said just kept repeating their line with no reference to what I said. I feel completely ripped off and will never use this company again.

thankyou ACE Cairns Australia, absolutely excellent friendly service, our pick up was late due to our flight and they were so understanding. The vehicle booked was a mystery vehicle and we received a new Toyota Landcruiser, absolutely stoked, Will rent again with this amazing company, THANKYOU

They are charging false amounts and blame the customer. We elaborated what we paid (with bank statement as proof), but they keep ignoring it. If you talk with their customer service, they just state their side of the story. They just keep ignoring everything the customer says. Then they are saying they will withdraw the money but they aren't even trying. Then they are sending some shady offices to collect the money.

Una auténtica estafa, hablo de la oficina ace Perth, una vez devuelto el auto con todo ok según ellos y con la fianza devuelta en mi cuenta bancaria, decidieron hacerme un cargo de 122$ 10 días después de que todo estuviera ok al devolver el coche! Last month I have been amazing experience with Ace Rental, they are very friendly, reasonable and top class car collection. I'm very much pleased with them.

My apologies this is a review for ACE rental cars Australia.

Staff are very helpful and accommodate requests whenever they can.
The cars are clean , recent models and low mileage. This was not the case with other hire companies I've used in Christchurch.
The vehicles have always been ready on arrival and transfers to and from the airport smooth.

Our hire car experience was excellent from pick-up to drop-off.

The shuttle from the airport was timely and the car was ready to go for us to just load up and drive away.

The car was very clean and had a full tank of fuel.

We'd highly recommend Ace Rental Cars.

Terrible rental car rental. Should be no stars. Car had two bad tires. We had to replace each and get a realignment. Wasted parts of two days. We had not gotten full coverage bc we used our credit card. So their attitude so far is that this is our problem. With the second tire, the repair folks said its condition was after much much use, not our 10 days, was in illegal condition and we would have been ticketed if the police had seen it. Tire was worn to the metal mesh. Very very dangerous. Perhaps Ace gave us the car so we would do their maintenance. Since we got this rental referral thru Air New Zealand, I called them and will be filing a complaint through them. For a safety conscious country, this is inexcusable. Oh, I have pictures and video.

Recently booked online & opted for the “surprise vehicle” the car we received was perfect for our holiday with unlimited kz meant we could travel further and do more site seeing, we were very happy with the service and the free airport pick up/drop off included made our whole holiday that much easier & we will definitely be booking again in the future :)

Having missed our original pickup time we had to organise a pickup time out of normal office hours, the staff member we contacted came in an opened up the office specifically so we could pickup our car. The car was in good condition and very economical to run. Staff when we returned the car were also very helpful.

The best prices I could find for my choice of vehicle (and SUV) amongst any car rental company in New Zealand.
