Very hard staircase but Acorn Stair-Lift to the rescue!!
We had a wonderful experience with Acorn Stairlift. Dillon our installer was kind, polite and he paid attention to detail. Dillon was on the run the entire time he was here. Our staircase was difficult! It is in marble and it takes a 180 degree turn. Dillon kept this pace up the entire time…. This staircase was a real challenge!! Then when Dillon was finished with the work, he took quality time to answer our questions!! We would give your company and Dillon (10) stars if we could. Thanks, Don Carrell

We bent to the pressure of cutting out…
We bent to the pressure of cutting out the middle man and are now left with a product that does not work for our home. There are multiple family members that need the lift and if they are upstairs they cannot utilize the device because the rail, which sticks quite a way out into the walkway, has to be manually lowered and raised. We have now invested thousands in a stairliftthat does not effectively meet our household needs.

Our Acorn stairlift stopped working…
Our Acorn stairlift stopped working last night. Called Acorn support to have device repaired. They cannot respond until this coming Monday (today is Friday). Here is the issue: my wife is disabled and is now stuck upstairs until Monday. We do have the maintenance contract (approximately $700 per year). We were never told upfront that their technicians do not work weekends. The whole situation is disgusting

Acorn did a great job job, as expected.
The scheduled installation date was was only a few days after the order was placed. Installation was quick and completed in just a few hours. The installer was friendly and final installation meet my expectations.

From the initial in-home consultation to the installation and professional instructions, our Acorn Stairlift representative was nothing short of AMAZING! Mr. Tim Condon was more interested in meeting my family's needs than he was in selling whatever system made him the most commission. He listened intently, advised professionally, and was extremely professional throughout the experience.

Seat problem
Since I already own a Acorn chair lift( bought in 2017) I did not check it out. I should have. The seat is way to low and requires me to place cousins on it to be able to get out. I immediately called and was told it would be the middle of JULY before they could return. I have fallen once trying to get out(called 911) and would like an earlier date if possible.

Took months for anyone to respond to…
Took months for anyone to respond to our initial sales request, and much more time to have anyone answer about the permit status. The person we were assigned to actually never replied.
When they scheduled the install, they wanted us to be available the entire day instead of finding out a 2-hour arrival window for the installer. They also told us we had to be available for 5 hours after he showed up. That is lazy and inconsiderate of your customers.
The chair itself works great - the only 5 star part of our experience.

Gives peace of mind for elderly mother
Andrew installed the stairlift for my almost 88 year old mother. He was very professional and also very kind. Mom’s not good with gadgets, and he took his time to explain things more than once to her. He did a very thorough job. Lift looks great. The lift itself seems nice and secure for her. She’s short, so it would be nice if the foot rest would meet her feet. Maybe something Acorn could work on in the future. Other than that, all is well. Thanks, Andrew! We appreciate you!

Love-Hate relationship
The sales rep, Brian Raffetto was very professional and explained everything in great detail. We intended to purchase in about a month, but we did not buy at that time because of one individual named Sam who would not stop calling us. We repeatedly told him we would not be in a position to buy for about 4 - 6 weeks and to stop calling us. However, he continued calling until I had all phone numbers from Acorn blocked. Now, a year and a half later, my wife's Parkinson's has progressed to the point that we needed the stairlift. I was told that Sam was no longer there and we placed the order. The installer, Kent, was also very professional and knowledgeable; he worked fast and left the area spotless. We are very pleased with the stairlift.
