Acupuncture was new to me and I approached it with a degree of scepticism. I am in my 70's and was experiencing a number of health issues that accompany the aging process. However, after 5 sessions with Sarah I feel renewed and recharged. My energy levels and wellbeing have increased whilst chronic symptoms have diminished. Sarah has a unique style combining her acupuncture expertise with gaining a deep understanding, not just of symptoms, but of the whole person. I was really unsure about acupuncture and from the first moment I stepped into the session with Sarah she put me at ease. Everything was explained to me. I wasn't really sure what to expect from having the acupuncture and didn't think it would make much difference. But after my first session I felt so much better, I know regularly visit and will continue to do so as the benefit I receive is amazing.

If I could gatekeep Sarah I would - but I guess that wouldn't be fair on the rest of the world. I went to Sarah after a very tough period of my life consumed by feelings of loss. I was eating well, exercising and doing all of the things I would usually do to reset my life but I was stuck. I have never felt so stuck. Even the act of getting up and functioning in the day felt difficult even on autopilot. I knew this was not normal for me but I felt helpless. I don't know how to fully describe the shift that Sarah has brought to my life because it feels fundamental and yet so subtle. Through each session she took the time to listen to me, challenge me and walk me through the healing work that needed to be done through acupuncture and Chinese elemental practises to follow up with at home. My favourite day of the week was seeing Sarah (now it's monthly but still something I look forward to) because I knew she was helping me get back on the right path. Thanks to her a have felt a emotional, mental and physical shift - I now feel peace and like I have control of that peace. My friends have also told me I am being more open with them and emotionally direct which for me is new as I had a tendency to suppress my stuff in favour of 'helping' someone else with theirs.

In summary, if you are questioning whether or not to try acupuncture or if Sarah is the right person for you - stop - and just go and see her. Take the time. You wont regret it.

Sarah is empathetic, professional and caring. I had a very painful neck that despite regular massage would not go away. I now have a pain free neck.
Following an operation for cancer Sarah has definitely helped my body to recover its equilibrium. Interestingly my oncologist recommended acupuncture and was pleased that I had already started treatment.

After years of chronic hip issues, Sarah has really helped to regulate pain and understand other factors that may be contributing. She is very thorough and takes time to listen/probe and understand every aspect that may be at play. I've tried so many treatments and therapies over the years and acupuncture with Sarah has been the first that has helped me to consistently reduce pain and settle to a new 'acceptable' normal.
