Brilliant removal men,nothing to much trouble

professional and efficient, no breaks at all

The mover guys were brilliant, abd they couldn't do enough. I cant believe how fast and efficient they were. Before we knew it it was time to drive to the new house. They were brilliant at getting our house into our new home.

Thoroughly professional and very efficient team who made the move less stressful

Do not use Alan Cook Loddon. I would give them less than 1 star if I could. When they screw up, they then make it your problem, and it’s cover up cover up cover up by management. There is not one shred of decency in any of them, and they treat their repeat customers in exactly the same way. I would especially like to mention the Directors , of this large company, who have no problem, boasting on their page , that they are 100 percent transparent with their customers, and that you can expect assurance from them. Well Pinocchio has nothing to worry about, as Management will ignore you, along with the rest of them, and not answer your complaints, once they have your money. Don’t say we did not warn you. Use them at your peril.

We had 5 companies in to quote us for our relocation down south. I immediately took to Chris from Britannia - Harrison and Rowley and the professionalism and warmth he showed was just want we needed, being a difficult decision to leave the home we loved. Moving forward and choosing Britannia to move us, I had quite a few conversations with Ross, the general manager who was helpful and always stayed in touch leading to our move. We were told it would be a two day move. We had a phone call a day early and were advised the guys who were loading, moving & unloading us had finished a job early and were able to start a day earlier if that suited us. This turned out to be the best idea & worked in our favour. The lads started Wednesday afternoon, and didn’t stop until 6pm ish. They slept in the cab outside the house & were up at 8am to continue! They worked so hard!!! They didn’t stop! They made the 2 hour drive to the south coast, in one huge lorry & a smaller lorry & started unloading the garden stuff before we arrived as we were slightly behind and collecting the keys. They handled everything with care & asked what we wanted where. The lads went above and beyond & even re moved furniture to other rooms after we’d changed our minds! They were polite, professional & personable & we had a really nice couple of days with them, we had fun! One was called Ollie, however I cannot remember the other name for the life of me, I’m sorry!! It didn’t turn out to be Harrison and Rowley, but we’re crew from ‘Britannia - ‘Alan cook’, from the Norfolk branch! I just wanted to thank you all so much, not only were you very competitive in pricing but couldn’t fault them in any other way! We are really happy in our new home & would be really appreciative to pass our gratitude to the guys who did the physical move! Danie, Stu & our dog Margo (who joined us a day later after being with her nanny and grandad) many thanks again! Xx

We were delighted with the level of service offered by Britannia Movers. The whole process (initial survey through to the actual move) was seamless and professional throughout. On the day, the team were incredibly courteous and they worked tirelessly to meet our needs. All items were carried carefully and nothing was too heavy or difficult! The highest compliment we can pay is, “they made it look easy’. We had absolutely no experience of this company prior to our move, but we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

The three guys who moved us worked very hard all day and were very professional in the way they moved us we could not fault them in anyway, we would recommend Britannia for a stress free move.

A truly brilliant service from the very first enquiry telephone call, to receiving a prompt refund on the collection of packing boxes for recycling. I would highly recommend Britannia for their professional, friendly and efficient service. The removal staff worked like trojans on the day of our move. We were fully packed and ready to go by 11am and unpacked by 2pm. Nothing was too much trouble and there were zero breakages/ damage. Thank you so much to Britannia for making our already stressful move easier, we are very grateful and wouldn’t use anyone else!

Very thorough initial assessment.

From the time the guys turned up, 08:00 till when they finished 19:45 they were exemplary. Polite hard working and affable.

The time taken to move was the fault of the legal people which ment the guys had to wait for 5 hours after loading the van. No complaints just got on with it and extra staff were supplied to get the job done

Absolutely brilliant company and staff

The young man who came the day before my move, to do my fragile pack, was very pleasent, efficient and took good care. On the day I moved the two man team arrived on time and did a very good job.

The packing service and the actual moving experience was quick and efficient; but if you take up the damage insurance, be sure you check everything within the seven day claim window.
As an elderly male, moving on my own, It was impossible for me to complete the considerable effort of unpacking everything within seven days, and I did eventually find significant damage to a valuable decorated mirror and the broken heads of two Welsh Lion carved bookends which were of sentimental family value,
I was distressed that despite my repeated requests to pack the mirror, and several other specifically identified vulnerable items with special care. they packed an obviously delicate mirror, decorated with artistic stained glass figures and surrounds, between two pieces of cardboard, and the two bookends in paper.
It would have taken very little stress or just a sharp knock to break the intricate stained glass mouldings and surroundings from the mirror, and that is exactly what clearly happened.
The immediate and bland response to my initial call for explanation and recourse was dismissed bluntly with "I'm sorry, it's too late to claim now, you should have made a claim last week". When I pressed the matter again later with another staff member, my claim being based on their negligence rather than an accident, I was finally gifted a "good will" payment of £40 which, as I explained at the time, just covered the cost of transport for specialised repair.
I will be unlikely to move again, but next time I won't waste money on transport insurance.
