Have used this company a few times now. Best price and usually received in 3-5 days. Haven’t had any issues yet, so can’t comment on customer service, but they do keep in touch via email once order placed, to relay order and delivery progress

Alensa.co.uk used to be reliable
Alensa.co.uk used to be reliable, with good prices and decent delivery times, but the service has gone badly downhill.
My last order was cancelled after payment with no clear reason at all. I did not cancel it myself, yet I received an AI reply!! suggesting the order had been cancelled and that a refund would follow. There was no proper explanation, no accountability, and no meaningful customer service. Trying to call was a waste of time because no one answered.
At this point, I would not describe this as a reliable company. The low prices are no longer worth the hassle, delays and poor communication.

Really good service!
Even though I had a prescription for my contact lenses, you don’t need to load it into the system to order. Online CHAT was very good and answered any queries I had. Delivery was really quick! Ordered on a Monday and my lenses arrived 1st class post with free delivery on the Thursday. Overall a really good experience - I was a little dubious at first as they are considerably cheaper than other online sellers, but I went with reviews from other customers and decided to try them. Glad I did, they were great from start to finish and I will definitely order my next batch from them. I always previously ordered from an online supermarket opticians but always seemed to have a problem with the order - tried this time and twice the payment wouldn’t go through “because of a glitch on our site” so I cancelled the order and went with Alensa instead.

Cheap but VERY slow delivery
Cheap but slow delivery as stock is first shipped to the UK before it’s then sent to you. so while they show a dispatch date online, add another week for it to actually arrive. Best bet is to get an actual UK supplier (with stock in the UK) to price match them. Alensa should be much clearer that they ship from the EU and show actual delivery rather than dispatch dates. Either service the UK market well and hold stock here, or just don’t bother and be up front about delivery times.
The maths on their reply is wrong. 5 days for delivery not 3!

Alensa will return your faulty lense!
My wife has been buying lenses from Alensa for yrs, but her recent experience with a faulty batch and how customer services responded has meant she will not use them again! The first set of lenses from her new box of lenses tore in her eye and it took her a couple of days to get the remainder of the lense out. She contacted customer services and was told to return the whole box at her expense. She was told when they received them and test they would get back in contact with her. Meanwhile she has no lenses, so back to glasses. Several days have past since I put them in the mail for her, using Royal mail as they requested. Today she called them and asked if her lenses has been checked and what the results were. The chap said they had been, which considering he hadn't requested any information from her to reference my wife to any return I doubt very much. He told her that the lenses were fine, no issues! He told me wife there was nothing he could do but would refund for the single lense and could send the box of original lenses back to her. Excuse Me... Under the Consumer Rights Act, the box of lenses was purchased as a single commercial unit. Because a lens within this (the very first lens used) batch is defective, the entire pack is legally deemed to be of unsatisfactory quality and unfit for purpose. Furthermore, as a matter of basic eye health and safety, it is highly inappropriate to expect a customer to use the remaining lenses from a compromised box..My wife replied to thier offer in writing immediately stating her disappointment but we have had nothing back from them. I'm shocked that my wife has been treated like this and shocked that they would offer a pro rata refund and return of the original goods. Very poor experience all round and very unexpected from a company trading in the UK.

I’ve used Alensa only through searching for contact lenses online and found this company
Their prices and products are excellent and service althougha faster delivery would be better as takes at least 5days or more as is Royal Mail ordinary delivery service
Can’t really complain as like everyone we are looking for cheaper products and with excellent quality especially as it’s our eyesight. Waiting a bit longer for delivery is why costs are cheaper
But fully recommend Alensa
