Shocking customer service,it took over a week to arrive,should have been 2 days. no response from emails,Instagram, facebook, spend almost £40 didn't even get a free lolly.

Hello adam,
I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the time it took your order to arrive. After investigating your concerns it was found that you purchased your order just before the weekend. Our couriers do not collect parcels on weekends nor do we work on weekends.
Also, with the queens passing we had an additional bank holiday which unfortunately on this occasion delayed your parcel from being sent off.
I am also sorry we could not get back to you sooner via one of our contact methods. However, we were busy ensuring orders were fulfilled and sent out as quickly as possible.
Due to Evri being a third party we cannot control how fast they deliver their parcel's and we do not hold responsibility for late deliveries as mentioned in our terms and condition's.
Evri's 2-Day parcel delivery is to be used as a guideline and does not include weekends.
I am also sorry you did not get a free lolly! However, we do put in a free box of mini nerds for every order purchased with us :D

Bought a mystery box and the contents was ok for the money but not one single chocolate bar…. Not one. It’s a joke as I got 3 cans and some sweets and a honey bun was meant to be an assortment but only got sweets and crisps mainly

I highly recommend this place to buy your American sweets because I bought 3 large mystery boxes and they have other mystery boxes what you can choose from and they have a whole range of stuff and the prices are just right and the delivery cost is not to much I rate it 10/10 and I’ll be buying from here often again

No show and no reply
Haven’t received my order even tho it says it has been delivered. Reached out to Americankandyco to inform them got a reply saying Evri would send a form (which I have not received) 5 emails I have now sent to AmericanKandyco to try find out what is happening. They have ignored every single one of them - far from professional. So, so far I have no order and I am £40 out of pocket. Their crooks, I will never ever place another order with them and I recommend people take note of this comment because they’ll be doing this to you next!!!

Lyndsay. Firstly i apologise for the great inconvenience caused to yourself.
After investigating, I found Evri had left your parcel in an unsafe location.
During the time you were emailing us, our email accounts were merging over to a new provider and this caused us to have a small outage.
As per my most recent email, i have now fully refunded you for your order. And sent out a mystery box to say sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We are also transitioning to a new courier to ensure issues like this do not happen again.

I am sorry to hear one of your items within your order arrived damaged.
Looking through our records I have noticed that your pop-tarts had been damaged in transit.
After looking at the pictures our agent determined that the product was still in edible condition with only corners missing from the pop tart.
I would also like to mention that the agent also sent a refund as a goodwill gesture.

I investigated your order and found that you had purchased x3 of our mystery boxes.
Our mystery boxes are filled with a random selection of products from our American range and this is stated in our product description. I am sorry to hear that you never received more chocolate and crisps. I suggest you order chocolate and crisps next time instead of purchasing a mystery box as we cannot guarantee the contents is going to be what you want.
In regards to the pick and mix we don't offer this on site.

I have just read through our site chat history to investigate where we went wrong and i do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
After viewing our chat logs, I can see your parcel was damaged in transit and you where concerned items may have been missing.
Our chat agent requested photos of the exterior and interior of the packaging box along with pictures of the items so we could determine what items where missing or damaged and also to make a claim with the courier. This is standard procedure.
You then informed our chat agent that the contents of the box had already been consumed and you could not provide interior photos or provide us with any information regarding missing items.
If you could have provided us with interior photos so we could check against your order we would have sent out replacement products while Evri investigated.
Our chat agent then proceeded to create a claim with Evri without the full required evidence of Loss/Damage.
You were informed by our agent that if your claim is successful you will receive a refund to your chosen payment method.
I would also like to note, being aggressive and abusive towards our customer support agents is not acceptable.

Good I liked the things I had brought but some of the pictures make stuff look bigger than they actually are so its deceiving and disappointing when it arrives and its 3 times smaller than original photo and when you take that into account it makes what you brought a tad expensive
