Schlechter Kundenservice mit schlechter Kommunikation und nicht-Einhaltung der Lieferzeiten

Ich habe hier vor einigen Wochen mehrere teure Kleidungsstücke gekauft. Sowohl bei Avocadostore als auch im Online-Shop wird dabei eine ''Lieferzeit von 2-5 Werktagen'' angegeben. Nach 14 Tagen wurde meine Bestellung noch nicht mal gesendet! Auf meine Email-Nachfrage diesbezüglich wurde erst nach einigen Tagen reagiert, und es wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die Bestellung nun fertig gepackt sei und lediglich auf die Abholung von DHL warte. Heute - nach weiteren 3 Tagen, ist die Bestellung (laut der DHL-Sendungsverfolgung) weiterhin noch NICHT gesendet, zudem erscheint auch meine Anschrift nicht korrekt aufgeschrieben zu sein (obwohl ich bei der Bestellung die korrekte Anschrift geschrieben hatte, wurde diese anscheinend nicht korrekt übernommen!). Die Kommunikation mit diesem Unternehmen gestaltet sich zudem extrem schwierig: auf meine Email zum Hinweisen, dass die Adresse nicht korrekt geschrieben wurde, erhielt ich keinerlei Reaktion mehr. Bisher wurde weder die versprochene Zusendung, noch die Korrektur der Adresse, noch eine Rückerstattung (bei sehr hohem Preis der Ware) in die Wege geleitet. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, wie hier mit Kunden umgegangen wird, und warte immer noch auf meine Ware oder mein Geld. Schade, ich hätte dieses Unternehmen gerne unterstützt, aber so ist es leider nicht empfehlenswert.

No refund possible and they stopped responding. Don't buy this scam!

I am trying to refund the pyjama and sent it back one month ago. I still haven't got any refund and they stopped responding completely since two weeks. Do not buy this scam!

I can't believe I didn't leave review before.
Dress doesn't matches picture and description. Huge arms holes,unflattering, very rough fabric , washed it in cold water multiple times and every time dress bleeds. Will never buy from this shop again

We’re sorry to hear that you’re still unhappy with the dress. As discussed in our previous communication, the armhole concern was not raised earlier, but we understand that fit can be subjective and may vary for each customer.

All measurements and photos reflect the actual design of the dress.
The dress is made from 100% natural linen, which we have been using for over five years. This fabric is known to soften with every wash, and we have not experienced bleeding issues when washed according to the care instructions provided. In some cases, certain detergents or washing products can affect natural fibers and dyes.

We truly value feedback and always aim to resolve concerns directly with our customers.

LOVE LOVE these linens...

Absolutely Love the linens I ordered. They are well made, great quality and so soft. I've ordered several pieces and continue to reorder the PJ set for myself and great gift giving. They are the comfiest I've ever owned and wash well. The table lines are also amazing and high quality and simply chic.
Customer service is great and fast delivery.

Prices on wbsite are not what they charge!!! Do NOY buy

Company never discloses that their products are shipped from Lithuania and that you are responsible for all import costs in addition to the product. I have refused the product as this is not what the item was being sold for. The customer service email correspondence just keeps blaming US laws. If this is an on going issue, they should make the necessary disclosures as any reputable business would.

I still have not received the item as it is being held in US customs.

Update 12/22/25- received an email from them stating they are refusing to refund my order even though I still have not received it or have any information about additional costs they EXPECT customers to pay in addition to the item without any notification.

Our website states that our company is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. At no point do we claim that orders are shipped from the United States. As an international business, we ship worldwide, and this information is openly available on our website.

For all international orders, customs duties, import taxes, and clearance procedures are regulated by the destination country’s customs authorities - in this case, U.S. Customs. These fees are not charged, controlled, or collected by us and are a standard part of importing goods into any country. Under current U.S. customs regulations (as applicable in 2025), such charges are the responsibility of the recipient when goods are imported.

This is not specific to our company - the same rules apply to all international sellers shipping into the United States. Unfortunately, we do not receive advance notice of customs fees, nor can we waive or predict them.

We understand that customs charges can be unexpected if you haven’t ordered internationally before, but they are not additional product charges and do not change the price of the item itself.

Very disappointing first experience…

Very disappointing first experience with AmourLinen.

I ordered a dress that was shown as available. After ordering, I was told it was “oversold” due to a system error. I was then asked to choose an alternative, but every reasonable solution was refused. Meanwhile, the same dress type and size remained available on their website, which felt misleading.

After days of slow email responses and contradictory explanations, my order was cancelled without proper clarification. To make matters worse, the refund was incorrect and did not include shipping costs, leaving me to come back to them again.

This whole process cost me a lot of time and frustration. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering here again.

This issue occurred due to a system error that caused the item to appear available when it had already been oversold. We fully acknowledge that this was a mistake on our side, and we take responsibility for it.

As there was no other viable solution available, we mutually agreed with the customer to cancel the order. Unfortunately, we had no alternative but to proceed with the cancellation, and we regret that this was necessary.

We also apologize for the slow communication and for any confusion caused by contradictory information during the process. Regarding the refund, we confirm that a full refund was issued, however, due to an accidental technical error, the refund was processed twice. This mistake was unintentional, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion it may have caused.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this experience caused. Your feedback is very important to us and helps us improve our service going forward.

Lovely pyjama

I got one of their pyjamas. Originally I got the off-white one but it turned out to be too see-through. I sent it back and got a terracotta one - it is absolutely perfect.
My only issue is the returns system - it is a bit of a hassle to organize the shipping label yourself, and it cost quite a lot. I feel like this part could be improved a little (I don’t mind paying for the return, but a standard private DHL rate is too much when dealing with a business).

This is a scam

This is a scam. The quality is so sub par. The fabric is see through and threadbare, with loose threads hanging off. There is no wide top hem on the sheet, so it's a struggle every time you make the bed. Attention to detail? Nonexistent. Customer service? Be ready for the run around. Absolute WASTE of money.

Edit- AmourLinen tried to have this review removed. Just needed to add how scummy they are trying to hide negative reviews. Good on Trustpilot for protecting consumer's rights/voices. AmourLinen is 100% a scammy, scummy company.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the items didn’t meet your expectations. As mentioned in our product description, our linen is a medium-weight stone-washed Baltic linen (approx. 190 gsm). This type of linen is commonly used for both bedding and clothing, and it is chosen for its softness, breathability, and natural drape. If you were looking for heavyweight linen, we completely understand the difference in feel; however, we currently do not offer heavier options.

All of our fabric is OEKO-TEX certified and made from high-quality Baltic flax, which is known worldwide for its exceptional quality.

Regarding the flat sheet:
We do not offer a wide top hem by default, and this is listed in the product details. Flat sheets in our shop feature a simple, clean finish. That said, we can often accommodate custom requests if a customer reaches out before ordering, and we are always happy to try to help.

As for the stitching shown in your photos, we reviewed them and can confirm that you are seeing the standard internal overlock seam, which is commonly used on clothing and bedding to secure the fabric edges neatly and prevent fraying.

Unzuverlässige Abwicklung

Zu lange Liefer- und Bearbeitungszeiten (von der Bestellung bis zur Rückerstattung ca. 4 Monate), komplizierte und teure Rückgabebedingungen. Leinen kratzt je nach Farbe.

Wir möchten gerne einige Punkte klarstellen: Unsere Produkte sind handgefertigt und werden erst nach Bestellung produziert. Die übliche Produktionszeit beträgt 4-9 Werktage. Dieser Sommer war für uns besonders herausfordernd, da unsere Marke stark gewachsen ist und wir während der Anpassung unserer Produktionskapazitäten an die erhöhte Bestellmenge Verzögerungen hatten. Inzwischen haben wir unser Team erweitert und unsere Abläufe verbessert, sodass Bestellungen nun nicht mehr verzögert sind.

Sobald das Paket geliefert wurde, hat jeder Kunde 30 Tage Zeit, um über eine Rücksendung zu entscheiden. Wie in unserer Rückgaberichtlinie angegeben, müssen die Artikel ungetragen und ungewaschen an uns zurückgesendet werden, und der Kunde ist für die Rücksendung verantwortlich.
Die Rückerstattung erfolgt innerhalb von 14 Tagen, nachdem wir den zurückgesendeten Artikel erhalten und geprüft haben - das ist bei vielen Slow-Fashion-Marken üblich.

Wenn Sie Ihre Rücksendung erst gegen Ende der 30-Tage-Frist eingeleitet haben, ist es ganz normal, dass sich der gesamte Prozess dadurch verlängert.
Allerdings ist uns kein Fall bekannt, der 4 Monate gedauert hätte. Daher wäre es sehr hilfreich, wenn Sie uns direkt kontaktieren könnten - dies ist das erste Mal, dass wir von einer solchen Situation hören, und wir würden der Sache gerne nachgehen.

Zu Ihrem Hinweis zum Leinen: Unser Leinen ist vorgewaschen und weich gemacht, besteht aus 100 % Naturfaser und wird mit jedem Waschen weicher. Das Empfinden des Stoffes kann von Person zu Person unterschiedlich sein, was völlig normal ist.

We’d like to clarify a few points: our products are handmade and made to order. The usual production time is 4-9 business days. This past summer was especially challenging for us because our brand grew significantly, and we experienced delays while adjusting our production capacity to the increased number of orders. We have since expanded our team and improved our workflow, so orders are no longer delayed.

Once the package is delivered, each customer has 30 days to decide about a return. As stated in our return policy, items must be unworn and unwashed, and customers are responsible for sending them back to us.
The refund is issued within 14 days after we receive and check the returned item, which is standard for many slow-fashion brands.

If you decided to return your items near the end of the 30-day return window, it is natural that the overall process becomes longer.
However, we are not aware of any case that took 4 months, so it would be very helpful if you could contact us directly -this is the first time we are hearing about such a situation, and we would really like to look into it.

Regarding your comment about the linen: our linen is pre-washed and softened, made from 100% natural fiber, and it becomes softer with every wash. The feel of the fabric can vary from person to person, which is completely normal.
