Tony from customer care came out to touch up some shrinkage on our stairs and did a fabulous job. Customer care arranged someone quickly and Tony was friendly and professional and did a great job. We are really happy with the house and after care.

Environmental Health came to visit our property almost instantly - they have been brilliant, particularly Sarah.

Her findings were reported back to Anwyl and as if by magic, communications picked up and you could be mistaken for interpreting a level of care and concern around the situation now.

A number of people came out to our property on June 1st to assess the issue. Members of Anywl & Weaver Vale were present.

Letting them get on with their assessment, I was sat in my room working from home and could over hear the issues being discussed. One of the attendees flagged the leak under the bath as the main issue - this was incorrect. They then, to my amazement, dismissed the primary issue in the far corner of the shower as "a little trickle".

As you can imagine, the duration of this issue, the arduous battle to get it even looked at/inspected, the consistent chasing, the costs of a surveyor, the time without a functioning bathroom in the home. To have the issue downplayed as "a little trickle" was a disgrace.

I went into the bathroom and questioned what had been said. The lady attempted to backtrack.

Damp readers were put on the affected areas and the remedy was agreed to be cleaning/treating the mould, re-grouting and re-sealing the areas of concern.

I queried whether the structural integrity of the timber and flooring had been compromised and they were adamant it hadn't because it was showing as dry. I contested that the only reason it was dry is because we hadn't used the bathroom for 2 months or more.

Just because timber is dry, does not mean that the water ingress has not compromised is strength and integrity.

The attendees left and a plumber (Tony) remained to do the remedial works. I cannot comment more highly on Tony. He was an absolute Gent! He was polite and took the time to explain what he would be doing and what he couldn't complete. We even had a chat and found out that we had similar interests outside of work. I will be leaving Tony a separate review because I feel it is unfair to put his name against anything that isn't 5 stars.

The bathroom still requires work to be done, as it was left incomplete (through no fault of Tony's). It turns out he was not given the full scope of the job and as such didn't have the necessary materials to complete.

This whole ordeal has been an absolute circus. The way it has been handled, I simply don't have the words for. The only highlight about Anywl is their tradesman that come out and do the remedial jobs to fix issues. We have had 3 out in a year and each one has been brilliant.

Anwyl ought to try and replicate this into their office/admin teams, as they have been nothing short of appalling.

We are extremely pleased with our lovely new home on the Chester development. The quality of the build and finish throughout the property has been excellent, and it is clear that a great deal of care has gone into creating a high-standard home.

Any defects or issues identified after moving in were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. The customer care team was responsive, professional, and committed to ensuring everything was resolved to our satisfaction.

Overall, our experience has been very positive. The quality of the home, combined with the prompt resolution of any defects, has made settling into our new home a smooth and enjoyable experience. We would happily recommend this development to others.

Chris Appleton attended our home on Tuesday 02/06/26 & Wednesday 03/06/26 for some repairs on the stairs and in the bedroom.
He was professional and polite, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
We are quite pleased with the work he’s done.

Anwyl Homes on Elmy Fields. The sale staff were great with us and kept us updated all the way. Some small snagging on our new home that was rapidly dealt with by assistant site manager Sam.

Richard was very clear what he was here to do, he was very polite and hoovered up after himself ☺️

All Anwyl staff have been friendly, approachable and professional from our first contact with the sales team, Jason and Sarah, through to the site managers, Elliott and Gaz. All snagging issues were followed up promptly and contractors were also friendly and efficient. The painter and decorator, Dean, deserves special mention for his friendly and positive approach. We had a few problems identifying and resolving a plumbing issue. The issues were down to the contractor's installation and poor response to snagging concerns. When we flagged followed up with Jason and Gaz they were quickly resolved. We think our experience has been good because of the people still working on site. Whilst we have flagged any issues with Customer Services, who have resolved the majority swiftly, it has been our relationships with the on-site team which have been most valuable. They have gone above and beyond to make our move successful.

Chris was very helpful and did a great job.

Chris Appleton arrived at 9am prompt with a smile, most importantly his shoes covers were in his hand, he took care inside the house, leaving no mess, did a perfect job of the painting, was genuine & a lovely man.

We moved into our new home in November 2025. The general build quality and fit and finish is good. As you can imagine there have been issues that have required snagging, but they've been managed well by Sarah, the Customer Service Co‑ordinator for our development at Anwyl'shead office. Great job Sarah. The quality of remediation work has been good too.

Both Richard & Josh always arrive punctually, discuss and explain the best ways to resolve issues / problems – and work very well as a team together to complete any job required.

My husband purchased a house at the end of 2025 on the deva green estate. We’ve recently had all our snag work completed by the site team and we are very happy. Thank you all!

When you buy a house, you want to have committed people in place that help sort out any snagging issues without further ado. Elliot from Anwyl was that committed person upon whom we could always rely. He was always only a phone call away when we needed his help. Great work!

We have moved into Eagles Green and the site is truly lovely and location is amazing! Our Longford is outstanding, the size of property inside and out is amazing and we have so much space!

We moved in Feb and we had a site manager who left the company unexpectedly which led to delayed jobs but the current site manager, Ian Tomlinson, stepped up and looked after a lot of jobs but he kept us informed every step of the way and arranged to get all our snags sorted. Tradesman were all lovely and approachable.

We had a leak on a Sunday week after we moved in (nothing major) and I raised the issue and 10 mins later a plumber showed up and fixed it.

Sales team are so lovely and very helpful!

This was our first new build and I am happy with our experience overall.

We’ve had a great experience with the site team in Chester from start to finish. The customer care team have been excellent and always quick to help with any questions we had. The sales team were also very helpful throughout the whole process and made everything easy and stress-free. We’re very happy with our new home and would definitely recommend.
