Let down.
I ordered an intergrated tumble dryer for my new kitchen, giving over 2 weeks notice for the delivery. I then received a call saying it may not be in for that date, but would definitely be in 2 days later, so I confirmed the order as the kitchen was being fitted the week after.
Day before delivery was due, I received an email saying it would be approx another 2 weeks for delivery.
On telephoning the Appliance Shop I got the provable shrug of the shoulders and I was told, my only option was to buy a more expensive model.
I requested a refund and then had to rush and secure a more expensive option with quick delivery with another supplier
to be in time for the kitchen to be fitted.
Very poor customer service received.

Very helpful members of staff, helping us with every query. Came out of the shop happy.

Bosch Oven ordered today to be delivered tomorrow.

Terrible customer service. I exercised my legal right to return a freezer within the 14-day cooling-off period, but Appliances Shop (sorry, I am not mistaken, this is the right company name) made the process needlessly difficult, refusing proper collection, burying key return cost information in small print, and leaving me stuck with an unusable appliance. I even paid for recycling of my old fridge/freezer, which they failed to collect.

They hide behind technicalities instead of helping customers, and I’ve been left feeling unprotected and out of pocket. Extremely poor experience — I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I needed a freezer quickly as my old one died. The staff at the Appliance Shop, Heysham were really helpful and arranged a speedy delivery to suit me. They are even taking away my old broken freezer. Thank you 😊

1 star is generous. I bought an integrated replacement fridge which was an unusual size. Good price and make. The delivery was later than originally stated i paid extra for fitting and removal of old one. On the day they got lost due to road works then refused to deliver as loading bay was busy and van too large to fit parking bay. Then refused to redeliver until roadworks had finished . I tried to get them to deliver snd they said they google mapped the loading bay and there was a huge tesco wagon delivering so they couldnt get in ! Loading bays have time limits in london so wouldn't have had to wait if it was being used at that specific time. Also what have roadworks got to do with it. I haf no choice but to cancel due to their refusal to deliver!! Ordered from elsewhere and it was deluveted following day! Appliance centre refused to refund and charged me £245.00 cancellation ! I didnt want to cancel rhey refused to deliver!! Reading up they eould have charged another £50 to deliver eventually too!! -they seem to have vety reluctant and aggressive delivery methods and charge lots of additional feed in small print! Be warned!!!

Appliance Shop failed to deliver a fridge to our central London residential address claiming that their lorry was “too big”. They did not advise of cancellation of the delivery until the day after the confirmed delivery date and time so we had fitters waiting two hours for their arrival for no reason. No communication from them on the day of delivery except to say incorrectly that the fridge was imminently going to arrive and then silence. The following day they sought to impose a "redelivery" charge of 49 pounds, to use a smaller vehicle and would not offer a redelivery date until the new charge had been paid. There is nothing unusual about the delivery address which is typical London street. Finally, they sought to take a 99 pound charge from my credit card as a penalty for cancelling the order which is a breach of the Consumer Credit Act. Unprofessional, economical with the truth alleging non existent and unverified access problems and wholly non responsive in the face of issues. Avoid or regret!

We ordered a washing machine from this company. Delivery was scheduled. Tenants spent the whole day waiting at home. The delivery driver just took a photo from outside the property and left. Didn't ring the bell, did not call any of the numbers provided. Then this company suggests that we are lying instead of questioning the fulfilment company about why they didn't call. They are now wanting to charge us £50 for re-delivery or £99 to cancel the order. This is extortion. There is no reason to buy from this company over others that provide good customer service.

Service Excellent, Great team. I was after a AEG hob that others kept cancelling order, appliance shop was the only place who was able to help me, even assisted me when i wanted the hob to be delivered on an different date to the one i chose when ordering. They were super friendly and replied very quickly. Definitely made one part of the kitchen renovation less stressful

AVOID. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The cooker we bought from them has broken down twice in 8 months with the same issue and they are refusing a refund or replacement. We have a child and have been left for weeks on end without an cooker waiting for the repairs.

We have bought from Appliance shop on several occasions and we keep going back because their customer service is excellent and the prices are fantastic too. The staff there cannot do enough for you. Great service with lovely helpful staff and great prices. What more do you want !!. Highly Recommended.

I went to the appliance shop in need of a new freezer, I originally went intending to get a frost free freezer but on the recommendation from the staff I changed to a low frost freezer (I'm not going to complain on more storage). They were very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend using this company in future

Went into the shop and there was very little choice of dishwasher. The model i wanted wasn't in stock and would have taken 4+ weeks for delivery. However.. they did have a slightly more expensive model available. I bought it at 4:40 in the afternoon and asked if it could be delivered first thing. 8:00 the next morning I had a brand new dishwasher. Excellent service, brilliant delivery. Ordered AEG 837 fridge and it was delivered promptly,Had a query about a dent,with foil tape on top of fridge,this was explained as part of the production process.checked with AEG and it is.Altogether a pleasent experiance with Appliance Shop,and will definetly use them again.

Struggling to decide on a replacement dish washer but thanks to Sam who was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable came away with the perfect washer and free delivery.

I placed an order for a tumble dryer on the Thursday for next day delivery on the Friday and paid £14.99 for the delivery. I received and email on the Thursday to say the item had been dispatched, I then received a text message late that evening to say my delivery could no longer be fulfilled on the Friday and to use the link provided to re-schedule the delivery. Delivery was not available until the following Tuesday. As my current tumble dryer had broken suddenly I needed a replacement for that weekend so I purchased another one from somewhere else. I contacted the company to inform them I would like to cancel the order as it was not fulfilled by the company, I received a very prompt reply to say that there would be a £99.99 charge to cancel the order (even though it was an error on their part and the order could not be completed by the company). Be careful buying from this company, I should have stuck to Currys or ao.com as I have received a very good service from them in the past.
