We are Appliance Shop, an independent company based in Morecambe, Lancashire. We used to be called Appliance Direct but we decided to change our name a couple of years ago as we were often confused with several other companies with very similar names! (Obviously, us appliance retailers aren't very imaginative when it comes to naming our businesses!) So, please make sure you have definitely bought from us before leaving a review. We get a lot of negative feedback from customers thinking we are another company and it's really damaging for us an independent retailer. Thank you! Our dedicated sales team have a combined sixty years experience in the trade, so you can really be sure that they really know their stuff! Don’t be afraid to ask them any questions, they’re absolutely bursting with information. Our sales advisors attend training days with Bosch, neff, siemens, Rangemaster , smeg and many many more brands, in order to make sure that they’re up to speed on the very latest products too. None of our sales staff work on a commission basis so any advice they give is honest and impartial. They will always do their best to match you up with the right product, they won't try and push something that you don't want or need. Our dedication has been recognised by a number of our suppliers. We are a Bosch Partner, Siemens Partner, Neff Accredited Retailer, Leisure Design Centre, Belling and Stoves Range Centre, Smeg Centre, Rangemaster Design Centre and a Britannia Range Cooker Centre. Washing machine
Went into the shop to look for a new washing machine, wasn't pestered and was allowed to look around until I saw what I wanted then a sales person came over. I asked a lot of questions which were answered politely. The assistant was very helpful and I was able to arrange a delivery date that suited me.

Purchased a tumble dryer online
Purchased a tumble dryer online, and on completion of submitting my order, my card had submitted my previous address (we have only just moved) even though I had changed my details. I was contacted immediately as they had spotted the error, even before I had time to complete my email to them. They made what could have been a pain in the neck, to no problem we will take care of it. They told me what I needed to do, and the dryer was delivered on the day we agreed. Would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future. Well done Appliance Shop.

Not 100% this company's fault
Not 100% this company's fault but not happy now as even after explaining how unhappy I was at waiting over 3 months for a fridge freezer door I'm still waiting for Indesit to replace ...and company are not answering my emails now !

I am extremely frustrated with the level of service provided by this company. The lack of communication and organization is unacceptable. Not only did they fail to deliver the fridge on the promised date, but now they are refusing to collect my old fridge as well. I should not have to jump through hoops just to get the service that I paid for. I demand a refund for the inconvenience and stress that this has caused me. I will not be recommending this company to anyone in the future.

Reviewing your order, I can see when the crew delivered your product the appliance the crew was collecting was still installed and in the cabinet. When you place your order online, you have to agree and read the terms and conditions, this states the old appliance we're collecting needs to be fully disconnected and outside ready for collection. Unfortunately this was not the case when we came to collect the old appliance We do also send you the terms and conditions once the order is placed as well which explain this as well. Quality Washing M/c Purchase
Went for a new washing machine after a fault with the old one. Got some good advice from the sales person and bought a new washing machine complete with 5 year warranty. It was delivered when promised, the old machine was collected with no issues. New machine now fitted and working well.
