We are Appliance Shop, an independent company based in Morecambe, Lancashire. We used to be called Appliance Direct but we decided to change our name a couple of years ago as we were often confused with several other companies with very similar names! (Obviously, us appliance retailers aren't very imaginative when it comes to naming our businesses!) So, please make sure you have definitely bought from us before leaving a review. We get a lot of negative feedback from customers thinking we are another company and it's really damaging for us an independent retailer. Thank you! We pride ourselves on our extensive product knowledge as well as our professional and polite service. Our dedicated sales team have a combined sixty years experience in the trade, so you can really be sure that they really know their stuff! Don’t be afraid to ask them any questions, they’re absolutely bursting with information. Our sales advisors attend training days with Bosch, neff, siemens, Rangemaster , smeg and many many more brands, in order to make sure that they’re up to speed on the very latest products too. None of our sales staff work on a commission basis so any advice they give is honest and impartial. They will always do their best to match you up with the right product, they won't try and push something that you don't want or need. Our dedication has been recognised by a number of our suppliers. We are a Bosch Partner, Siemens Partner, Neff Accredited Retailer, Leisure Design Centre, Belling and Stoves Range Centre, Smeg Centre, Rangemaster Design Centre and a Britannia Range Cooker Centre. We’re also a member of Euronics. Appliance Shop has a 10,000 sq. ft showroom, which makes us one of the largest independent appliance retailers in the North West. With over 2000 products in stock, we are the go to place in the whole of Lancashire and Northwest area if you require your appliance next day in a fast and efficient manner with fantastic customer service.

Brilliant service
Brilliant service! Bought a washer dryer from the Appliance Shop. Not the first time we've used this shop and it won't be the last. The only thing was we arranged for the old washer to be collected and the scrap man had taken it before our delivery arrived! Anyway, same result, we've got a great washing machine that we're happy with.

I walked in to Appliance Direct…
I walked in to Appliance Direct Morecambe and was greeted in a pleasant manner by a young man who asked if he could help. I explained that I wanted a Hoover Tumble Drier, showed him a picture of the old one, he showed me the updated version, alternatives, we sorted the price, I paid, I moved my vehicle to the door, got loaded and was away in less than 15 minutes.

Excellent shop.
We visited the shop in Morecambe and were looking to purchase a new washing machine. The salesman spoke to us and described the one that we were actually interested in. There was no pressure with the sales which we got from other retailers. We bought it and the machine was delivered the next morning. We will definitely use the shop again.

Poor customer service and scam terms and conditions
Purchased a fridge for over 500 pounds and paid an add on of 26 for them to remove the old fridge. Upon arrival they delivered the fridge, refused to collect the fridge because it wasn't according to their t and c (that they send only after u pay) and refused to refund for no reason! I paid for delivery and a fridge and they refuse to refund 25 pounds for not cost to them?! A joke of a good service.

When you place your order online you have to agree to the terms and conditions and click a box stating you agreed the terms. This explains when we deliver your product if you have added on the collection service the old appliance we're collecting has to be fully disconnected and in an accessible location. Unfortunately this was not the case with your collection. We also send you these terms and condition after you have ordered as well to make sure customers are fully aware of collection service. We do our upmost to give customers all the information they need for added services. I'm sorry you're not happy with our service. If you do need anything please email us.

Was looking for a new enclosed freezer that needed to be of a specific size to fit, the Appliance shop had the exact size i needed at a good price, i placed my order and then selected the best date to suit myself which is a bonus, i was kept fully up to date on the day of delivery by the driver regarding the time he would be arriving, very good service from order to delivery.
