New shower room excellent job

Great experience, very helpful and made sure it was an overall great job. From the initial phone enquiry I made to the completed project. We had walk in shower, washbasin and new toilet in cabinets. I was advised it would take 2 days. The two fitters had it all done in one day. No mess at all, so pleased. Excellent couldn’t praise them enough. The rubbish outside was removed within 48 hours. Highly recommend.

Steer clear of this company.. RIPOFF disabled people

We have given 1 star as there is no where we can put NO stars !!! Steer clear of this company if u dont want to be ripped off .. we had to have them back SIX times due to leaks .. yessss six!!!! The last time they were supposed to be removing it & refunding our money but surprisingly (NOT) the bloke had no knowledge of this & as we were sick of the inconvenience & mess we let him have another go at fixing it .. very luckily for THEM not us, he managed to stop the leak. Think they had part shares in a sealant company as ours seems to be made of it!! They were supposed to be refunding us also for the shower as they used our shower & not 1 of theirs but that didn't happen either..
totally wrecked our floor in bathroom with the leaks & also kitchen ceiling .. then another surprise (NOT) they wanted us to claim off OUR house insurance!! It made us both ill with the worry & we washed our hands of them in the end and had to fork out to fix it ourselves .. absolutely disgusting service from start to finish, kept getting passed from one person to another & no one knew what the other had said .. we weren't even going to bother with a review but then someone we knew had plans to use them so we felt we had a duty to let people know how bad this company treats disabled people 🤬🤬🤬

Thank you for your review. We are truly sorry that there was an issue with the sealant on your shower and that we needed to re-attend on several occasions to re-apply the sealant. We absolutely understand how distressing and inconvenient this was for you and we apologise for the disruption caused to you by the remedial visits.
As you state, our director did speak with you personally and informed you that we would change the entire shower module if we could not get to the bottom of the issue. However, fortunately, this was not necessary, and the leak was permanently resolved once we had ensured the sealant was allowed sufficient time to dry before use. If you are now unhappy with the finish due to excess sealant, we can strip this back and re-apply, if you are agreeable.
We are concerned about the defamatory allegations you have made in your review and respectfully ask if you would please amend it to reflect that we did put you in touch with our own insurers, that the damage to your kitchen ceiling pre-existed our installation and that, at some stage, you stopped responding to the insurers, who inform us that your claim remains open, awaiting your response.
Please could you also remove the allegation that we did not reimburse you for a shower valve. We never charged you for a shower valve, as is shown in the contract documents, which also detail your pre-existing leak.
We have emailed you directly and hope that you will allow us access to re-apply the sealant, if necessary. We also hope that you will agree to amend this review in the interest of fairness.

Both my mum and myself both had walking…

Both my mum and myself both had walking showers,mums was fitted couple of weeks before mine, we both had Scott who did a great job at fitting the showers, Scott never stopped from arrival to going home, my mum had a complete bathroom completed in 2 days, I had only the shower completed in 1 day,the old ones was fetch the next day,we're very pleased with our product, can't fault them,

“It is our pleasure to write this review following the successful installation of our new walk in shower from Aquability. Absolutely superb from start to finish and a first class product. Replacing the bath at home is a big decision but increasing immobility forced the issue. Enquiries locally proved inconclusive but so glad we followed up an advert and contacted this firm. The outlay was well worth it. Right from first telephone contact to completion it was perfect. The office staff replied promptly and within days the local representative Paul Inglis attended and carried out a detailed survey with professional advice and costing. Having paid the initial deposit the required parts and fittings arrived on time and were placed in garage storage. The two fitters Danny and Ethan arrived as arranged and within the day fitted the walk in shower to perfection including plumbing, electrical requirements and the unit itself. Their many years of experience were obvious and the installation was completed to the highest standard. All care was taken with carpets and access route and after clearing up no mess was present whatsoever. Within minutes of departure a crew arrived to remove all traces of the former bath and waste leaving the site completely clear. Yes we daresay shopping around at home may have proved a little less costly but it would never surely have been carried out as good as that provided by Aquability. We can in confidence recommend this company and its product to any of you thinking of installing this shower product. *****

A brilliant job well done.

From the salesman's visit, through the delivery of the bath, and then the big day of the actual installation, everything was excellent.
The fitters did a great job, enjoyed their mugs of tea, broke for lunch, and were finished by mid-afternoon. They cleared up spotlessly, explained all the workings to me, and went away leaving me feeling highly satisfied. I enjoyed christening it after the 24-hour wait, and my infirm wife, the real reason for our having the bath, will be using it in the next couple of days, with the assistance of our lovely neighbour and me.
Thank you for a brilliant job well done.

Went really well from start to finish

Went really well from start to finish! Everyone was helpful and efficient; perhaps slightly pressurised by the first agent (Alan?) to sign up on the day he visited, but I'd already decided anyway. A couple of phone calls over the next few weeks kept me in touch, and Jason and Gary delivered all the parts 2 days before installation. Scott and Ben did a first class installation job, and cleared up really well. All the rubbish was taken away after the weekend. Thanks to all of you, a great job with minimum hassle.

My new Easy Access walk-in shower.

I am writing to thank you so much for the installation of my Easy Access shower. From the initial Survey when everything was clearly explained, all the items were delivered in advance so that the fitter could begin work straight away. I was extremely impressed with the professional service of the Fitter and Electrician who were both very pleasant and worked extremely hard. I couldn't believe that the whole installation was so quiet and everywhere was left spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aquability to my family and friends. Miss D Stower

The whole process was really great.

The whole process was really great from the initial survey to the removal of the old bath and installation of the new shower cubicle. It was just a shame that the installation fitter didn't complete the making good work outside after he had to drill a new hole through the wall for the new shower waste pipe. I completed the making good cementing works outside as I was concerned about water getting into my property due to the recent bad weather. I'm really happy with the overall job though as it's really helped with my wife's mobility issues.

Great job from start to finish!

Great workmanship. The shower they have have fitted is perfect! The gentleman who fitted the shower was clean, thorough & very efficient. Couldn’t have asked for a better job.
Cleaned thoroughly after the job & left the bathroom spotless.

An Amazing Job - Great Company

A week ago, 2 great lads from Aquability removed our bath and fitted a walk in shower unit in our bathroom. What a fantastic job they did in just under 7 hours, completely transforming the bathroom.
Did not think it was possible in so short a time.
The two lads were very pleasant, respectful, very efficient and worked hard.
The whole unit looks wonderful, works well and we are both thoroughly pleased that we chose Aquability to do this job. Would highly recommend them.

Simon who was our installer was absolutely wonderful and even though he found several problems he managed to put them right without complaining. The bath and shower looks fantastic I our bathroom Nd it was wonderful to have a lovely jacuzzi bath at last.

An impressive service

From the point at which I contacted Aquability to enquire about having a shower installed at my home through to the actual installation I was impressed by the way in which I have been kept informed every step of the way.

When the components of the shower were delivered prior to installation I felt that the delivery team were highly professional and showed great respect for my home, ensuring that the components would not interfere with my wife and I’s day-to-day living prior to installation.

On the day when the shower was installed the fitter, Stacey, arrived early i.e. at 8 am and worked through until 7.30 pm with an extremely high level of professionalism.

Again, he kept us fully informed of each step of the process, ensuring that the shower fitted our needs. It was obvious from the outset that he set himself very high standards of workmanship and took immense pride in his work. In addition, he showed immense respect for our home and was at pains to ensure that he tidied everything away and vacuumed the bathroom floor, stairs and hallway prior to him leaving at the conclusion of the installation. In summation, I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Aquability.

work well done…

Work took a extra day because of rotten floor boards that had to be removed and replaced, this was done very professionally and with care so that the end result was a shower unit that was perfect.

Altogether most satisfactory

Thorough initial survey, all clearly explained.
The parts were all delivered in advance, so that the installation engineer could start work as soon as he arrived - which was just as well as it took him all of a long day to finish the job.
Result - wonderful. Thoroughly recommended.
There was then an inspection a few days later to make sure that all was well. It was.

Disgusting Workmanship......

Disgusting Workmanship......

Relating to a nearly 18 month old installation.......

1.

When installing the Walk in Shower for my then, 90yr old Mother, they caused damage to a tongue and groove floor board, in such a manner as to make it unsafe to walk upon that area of floor in the Bathroom on the 1st floor. If my Mother had trodden in that area she may well have gone through the floor and ceiling below (I was obviously the first person to stand in the specific area.... even after @ 18 months..... ) as I was the person who nearly went through ......

2.
During the Installation, they had to roll back and or remove the vinyl flooring to:-

A) Remove / Smash the existing enameled cast iron bath.

B) Install the Walk in Shower Unit/Module.

During this process and.... remember.... The Vinyl Flooring is rolled / folded back, alot of detritus is generated, saw dust, small plastic off cuts, plastic screw dress covers dropped 🫳 ......

What they did next beggars belief.....

They folded the Vinyl Flooring back .... on top of rubbish.... left it.... didn't attempt to clear up.....

They don't know how to use a dustpan and brush or hoover.....

Shoddy isn't the word.

I only discovered this shocking state on Sunday Morning because of the floorboard issue when repositioning the Vinyl Flooring (which is Siliconed at the edges.....) to say they sealed their fate... is putting it mildly......

They said they'd would want my mother to pay for an inspection of their shoddy work practice.... as it's "Out of Guarantee".......

I rang hem to ask an Inspector to come and look at his companies work so as to go back and show his colleagues how IT SHOULD NOT BE DONE!.......

Nope... Customer Services said.... it's chargeable....

No longer under Guarantee..... It's Chargeable.....

I rang yourselves a total of 4 times, earlier today I requested a call back and that I'd possibly be out of coverage as that is the nature of my Job, I spoke with the Guild of Master Craftsmen, they were very disappointed with your attitude. I.E. my Mother as a customer should pay for one of your "Inspectors" to come and look at such a badly "finished" job......

Please call me between the hours of 07:00 and 15:30 Mon - Thursday or Friday 07:00 - 14:00.

In theory I should be under WiFi or Cell network.

If not please be so kind as to leave a message containing your number, name position within the company and extension, when I'm able to I shall ring back.

A very clear and well explained initial…

A very clear and well explained initial visit to explain the work to be carried out. The work was carried out as planned by very efficient duo of workers. again all work was explained in detail including a couple of small snags (due to the plumbing in our house). Very pleased with the installation and all rubbish cleared and taken away.
