Ordered a machine 1st July, said 3-4 week delivery which was no problem. Received no updates or communication so asked for an update 3 weeks in, received a prompt email reply saying the unit would be delivery 30th July, all good so far.

30th July comes and I have no tracking information or update so I ring and was told DPD had lost multiple units and it would be remade. Seemed strange as my DPD app had no deliveries shown but mistakes happen. Arcade Geeks told me someone would call Friday afternoon with an update, no call comes so I chase again to be told it would be delivered Saturday.

Delivery now shows in the DPD app and 2 well packaged boxes arrive. Open both boxes to find the screen scratched, smack in the line of sight. There's nothing to join the base to the top, there's no instructions at all. I manage to find some bolts in my shed to bolt the base to the head and fire up the unit. Upon it loading its apparent the A button doesn't work as you can't select anything, so I unplug everything and have a look in the back to find a cable that hasn't been plugged onto the A button.

Email Arcade Geeks to tell them the various problems and suggest either returning the screen or we come to an agreement on keeping the damaged the screen for partial discount - Arcade Geeks ignore. I'm now left to opening a payment dispute, which Arcade Geeks have ignored as well. I don't mind some discount as the scratch doesn't bother the kids, it bothers me though as its damaged. I don't even mind if they send me a new screen and I'll fit it myself, doesn't look difficult but ignoring me entirely just results in frustration.

Such a shame as the unit itself is solid, well made and the games are brilliant, with that proper arcade feel from years gone. Everything loads quickly and is easy to play and it feels like it should last a long time. I hope it does last as I can't imagine the 5 year guarantee means anything as they'll probably just ignore you if anything does go wrong. If they'd just sort out customer service they'd be onto a winner, from other reviews it seems common that when something goes wrong, they don't reply or handle it badly.

Update 12th August - had a call from Joe, very apologetic and helpful, discussed arranging replacement parts for the damages, together with a nominal refund for the problems.

Absolutely love it looks great in my bar and hours of fun with family

I was really looking forward to this arcade machine, and in terms of gameplay and selection, it doesn’t disappoint. The build quality is solid and the range of games is impressive. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by poor customer service.
I placed my order in early June with an estimated delivery of 1–2 weeks, but it didn’t arrive until nearly 4 weeks later. When it finally did, several issues became immediately apparent: no power lead (essential for operation), incorrect joystick colours, and no instruction manual.
I emailed the company—no response. I then called and was told the missing items would be sent out immediately. I did receive the instructions via email, which helped, and I managed to borrow a temporary power lead. However, a week later, I’m still waiting for the correct joystick tops and power lead. I’ve sent three follow-up emails this week and tried calling again, but no one answers.
In the end, I had to purchase my own power lead, hoping it’s compatible. While the product itself is great, the lack of support is concerning. A good product deserves better service.

Edit. 04/07 having received a phone call it seems the company are not receiving my emails - this may explain the lack of responses (but not why it has taken a week to ship a cable and parts)

Update 2 - having had the machine a few weeks now i thought i would give an update. Gameplay is good but some of the component quality is questionable - button decals have worn off already and speaker grills keep falling off so have had to screw on (they were only glued).

Really great machines and great service and updates from the team. A happy customer!

Love the space invader machine,Good communications. Found it very easy to set up. As other reviews, there is no manual on how to work it, but I managed easily to navigate around it. By pressing player 1 on Home Screen this takes you to the menu screen.great addition to my pub shed.

The arcade machine is brilliant! Lots of games and well built!
I even got a free upgrade because of a delivery problem!

Very good communication when I asked a question the product is well built looks good lots of game. No instructions but I e mailed the company sent them right away on e mail
There supposed to have for dowls to locate the top to the bottom they never came with mine but I got some nuts and bolts not a big issue

Unbelievable bad service, cancelled and then said they were going to deliver 3 different times, then waited in all day Christmas Eve and they didn't show up, I have had to call my bank and declare as fraud to get my money back, not even the decency of a call to say they couldn't deliver. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Can safely say anyone that has played on my arcade now wants one from arcade geeks! What a trip back to the old days, every classic and many many more really well built machine. Thank you arcade geeks for all your help after my many questions and some late changes. Highly recommended will be buying an elite in future! All I can say is go for it! Get one you won’t regret it.

I order a machine for my kids Christmas in November. I was guaranteed delivery before it. Then after not hearing from them I phoned they told me not to worry there delivering them right up until 24th. I was waiting in Xmas eve the whole day as they told me it was out for delivery with there own courier and still never arrived. Then weeks later after sending g emails and trying to phone no one got back to me. Had to claim my money back as fraud with my credit card company. Kids were gutted spoiled our Xmas.

I purchased a 2 player Arcade machine with Space invader graphics. The machine is fantastic, the controls are very responsive and it looks great in my garage. Very, Very happy with it! But my experience after ordering it at the end of November to finally having what i originally ordered in the middle of January was very poor. Numerous phone calls, emails and calls never returned. Had to keep taking time out from work to ring, to try and speak to someone. Given assurances the problem would be resolved but i was always chasing. In the end Joe came out at a weekend and changed the buttons and joystick for the right colours plus upgrade to the 10,000 games i had ordered. I feel bad writing this because the Machine itself is Great! Just whished the rest of it was the same. Sorry i had to say it.

All of my questions were answered pretty quickly via email, I did try the phone but no answer.

Why was I attracted to Arcade Geeks?

1) The prices were slightly lower than other websites
2) A raspberry Pi bar top is available, rather than just the standard Pandora Box junk that other companies sell
3) Free upgrades if you purchase specific models

Would I have placed an order, yes. Am I going to place an order in the future, yes I am thinking about it. If I do buy a bar top, then I shall edit this review. As for now, it is just to give praise for the customer service that I have received, as I notice a few dud reviews.

What can I say this company is amazing I brought my arcade gaming machine back in 2022 when the item arrived I could not get over just how well made my arcade game was and it brought back so many memories from my arcade days in my home town you can see so much attention to detail had gone in to making these machines even down to the packaging and delivery super fast and well packaged the communication was also fantastic a super smooth transaction there are other companies doing these machine's on Ebay but this company blows them all out of the water I've recently had to contact arcade geeks 2 years after I'd purchased it as my grandson had done something to it I contacted arcade geeks and spoke to the owner rod who was happy to help me with my issue he asked me to contact his staff in the workshop and they would also be happy to help me a man called mark came to my rescue and solved my issue taking me through step by step to resolve my problem fair play he was very patient with me as I'm not very technical person he was so kind and so polite he got me up and running again so I just want to say I would definitely recommend arcade geeks there machine's are well made and before and after sales really are fantastic thanks again rod and mark 5 stars all the way from sharlene whitchurch shropshire

The customer service in my opinion is brilliant I have a response back not long after I have sent my message and your answers are simple and straight to the point.

Im glad everyone has managed to get there machine and even an response from them on Boxing Day. They have had my money for over 3 months promised number of deliveries nothing. Christmas was a massive let down as me and my daughter as we were so looking forward to this im disgusted and so disapointed with both Joe and Rod with all the false promises. I will be updating further on what has been done.

This review is an update from my review on the 24/12/24. I will not go into the circumstances of that date but focus on what happened afterwards. Contact on Boxing Day, apologising and arranging for future delivery.
Delivered in person, product is fantastic and a very happy child indeed. Upgrade foc to higher package as a goodwill following the issues along with some other separate items. Based on the follow up and the product I have added this review.
If the issue on Xmas eve hadn’t happened this would have been 5stars.

After a mishap with delivery over the Christmas period, Rod and Joe rearranged delivery in the new year. Just got to say it’s a fantastic bit of kit and the kids love it!
