We had the most amazing family vacation in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore. Stella, our tour manager, was absolutely fantastic. She planned the perfect holiday with a nice balance of culture, adventure, and down time. This is our 2nd time using Asia Pioneer (we went to Thailand in 2018) and they do not disappoint. I have recommended them to all of our friends and family. We loved SE Asia and will be returning - Asian Pioneer will definitely be planning our next trip there.

Mr. Adam from Asia Pioneer Travel did an excellent job coordinating with me throughout my entire trip. I found Asia Pioneer Travel through a Google search and connected with them. They reached out to me promptly, and I discussed my plans with Mr. Adam. He helped me understand my budget and preferences for the places I wanted to visit and provided me with the best itinerary.

There was a day when I had to cancel or reschedule my plan due to a passport issue. Mr. Adam handled this situation calmly and helped me change my dates, allowing me to carry on with my plans. I really appreciate his support during that time. He stayed connected with me throughout my journey.

His service during my whole trip was commendable, far exceeding my expectations. I have already recommended Asia Pioneer Travel to my friends, and in the future, I plan to book again to explore more places in Vietnam.

Two couples in their early sixties planned a 28 day trip to Vietnam April-May 2024. We began planning our tour about one year out and decided to use a travel agency to set up the tour.
We contacted several travel agencies including Asia Pioneer Travel (APT). We reviewed many different itineraries, and had initially decided to go with another company, but at literally the last moment in late December 2023, I reconnected with Chole Tran, a senior travel advisor for APT. We went back and forth for a week or so to build an itinerary which would allow us to travel from the low lands of the Mekong Delta to the mountains of Sapa. Along the way we stayed in 3-4 star hotels, enjoyed local food and drink, traveled the waterways of the Mekong Delta, Halong Bay, and Ben River. We traveled by planes, trains, and automobiles,(vans).

This was a private tour, just the four of us. We had English speaking guides throughout the country, all of our tours were well planned, and went off in a timely manner. Our guides that were employed by or worked for APT were all five star. They all spoke very good English, were very knowledgeable, personable, and were very genuine people.

I cannot say enough about APT, Chole, our travel agent, she was readily accessible by phone or Whatsapp. The travel plan they put together for us was exceptional. While there a few very minor bumps along the way, Chole was on top of any questions or concerns we had. Her professionalism and, dedication to making this trip of a lifetime to Vietnam for the four of us has convinced us to use this Agency again for any tours to Southeast Asia and beyond. We want to thank our primary guides, Larry, Tommy, and Kue for their expertise, taking us under their wing and sharing their personable experiences with us.

If you are reading this review, you may be considering to using APT for your travel plans. Whether it’s for 28 days or 3 days, this is the company to go with. Their attention to detail and 100% satisfaction of their customers are second to none. In this day where customer service is lacking, you will be pleasantly surprised that you are their number one concern.

Cost of a tour like this is always a concern. Are there cheaper tour companies out there? For sure there are, but I can tell you minus our flights to and from the states(New York), the total cost of the tour was around $14,000. That breaks down to $125 per person, per day. It includes all hotels, tours, travel and meals.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful first-time trip to Vietnam - thanks to the quality service provided by APT. So many things went well for us. We were able to customize the default itinerary to fit our schedule and sightseeing preferences. We spent a few initial days corresponding via email, phone and WhatsApp with our assigned Travel Designer (Elly), and she answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns we had. She also helped us obtain our e-Visas and purchased domestic airline tickets for us. The hotels provided were excellent - good locations, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and nice amenities. The hotels also provided very tasty and substantial buffet breakfasts through a wide variety of foods and beverages. What also stood out were the outstanding local guides that accompanied us in HCM City, Hoi An/Hue, Hanoi and Sapa. The guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area history and culture. We learned so much from the guides and they really enhanced our travel experience. They also led us to some great restaurants where we enjoyed the local cuisine. Also, all of the drivers provided were highly skilled and always on-time for pickups. And on top of having an enjoyable trip, we felt the trip cost was very reasonable and affordable. We are so glad we went with APT!

Amazing trip to Thailand for our family of four. Spring break is a trip we will remember forever. Bangkok, Chang Mai, Phuket in 9 days. Cherry took care of everything. The tour guides were great and a wonderful way to see the cities. We didn’t have to worry about anything as it was all taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.

My family just returned from a 8-day trip to Vietnam for spring break. The trip was fantastic! Stella was our travel designer and did an amazing job. She checked in with us frequently before the trip and during to make sure everything was going as planned. She even helped us to get a hotel room for longer than we needed due to us getting sick. The guides we had were some of the best we've experienced. I feel like we're friends now. This was the trip of a lifetime for us and I would gladly recommend them to friends.

We recently took a trip of a lifetime completely orchestrated by Asia Pioneer travel. It was exceptional in every way and they were always available to answer questions or handle any snafuus ( there were none in three weeks). Chloe Tran is an amazing travel specialist. She listened to our requirements (hotels and tours), tailored our holiday accordingly and provided suggestions using her experience.
We had no stress during the trip as she proactively provided anything we would need and whenever we had queries, she was always available to respond and resolve. The drivers and guides were awesome - guides extremely knowledgeable and drivers extremely courteous and always ready with a cold towel and cold water bottle which was so appreciated in that weather.

My cousin and I visited Thailand and Cambodia from 2/1-2/11/24. It was our first time in this part of Asia so Elly Do helped organize our itinerary. We knew that we wanted to have certain experiences, with not too much emphasis on the usual tourist haunts.
Though we did go to some "must see" places such as the Floating Market and the National Park, we enjoyed a cooking class, hot air balloon ride, Street Food tour during Chinese New Year, and the opportunity to chat with local Hill Tribes in northern Thailand.
Our accommodations were excellent! Elly did a wonderful job matching the hotels/ villas/retreats to our taste and specifications.
The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and caring. We did have a dud though. Our first guide in Bangkok was aloof, condescending at times, and simply uncaring. During hikes he walked ahead of us, rarely looking back to see if we were keeping up or in need of assistance. I don't know if it was attributed to the fact that we were women or he just didn't feel like being bothered. We had him for a few days in the beginning and that was it. Our driver was kinder than him, and he spoke very little English.
The remaining guides were extremely personable, especially KaNoon. She picked us up from the airport each time we landed in Bangkok. She never left our side until we were one hundred percent settled. She also dropped us off on our departure home and helped expedite us through all the long lines. She was a jewel!!

We booked a trip with Asia Pioneer to see Vietnam in 7 days. From my first contact with Elly, I knew we were in good hands! I didn't have a set itinerary and was overwhelmed with what to do in such a large country, but I gave Elly a few ideas, and she took it from there. She created a fantastic itinerary, hitting the things I knew we wanted and adding in some experiences that ended up being our favorite of the trip! She was very responsive, and she always offered options or made changes as I requested. I felt like she really worked with me to craft the trip I wanted.

Once we arrived in Vietnam, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Not only was every activity we did so fun and special, each guide we had was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, and the hotels were 5 stars. I don't think I've ever had a trip run more smoothly.

From the hotels, to the food, to the tours and guides, Asia Pioneer handled it all! It was so relaxing and stress-free. I wish they could plan all of my vacations! We will remember this trip forever, and it is all thanks to the hard work from Elly and her crew at Asia Pioneer.

From my very first contact with this Company I knew that I was with an experienced, professional team. Elly the tour designer compiled an Itinerary that met all my interests and expectations. Recently we got a vacation in Cambodia and Vietnam. It was difficult to find the trip that fitted our requirements. Luckily we found the Asia Pioneer Travel agency and their travel designer Stella Nguyen. Stella prepared the trip exactly the way we wanted it to be. Attractions to visit, hotel, transportation – everything from beginning to the end was done to meet our schedule and our wishes. Of course, Stella did not work alone, she had support from the entire agency. We visited 6 cities and everywhere we were met, greeted, and taken care of by the guides and drivers. All the hotels were already booked, all the tickets for excursions and flights were already purchased for us. In Phnom Penh we realized that we had more than a half a day of free time. We contacted Stella and she organized a guided city tour for us. That was really amazing. We visited wonderful pearl stores and even an Italian town, right in Vietnam. A real piece of Italy in Vietnam.
Asia Pioneer Travel agency gifted us an unforgettable experience and we would like to thank them for this travel. And we would like to recommend them to everybody. If you need a customized and not overpriced vacation – you know who to contact.

Thrilled to have secured travel designer Stella Nguyen and her team at Asia Pioneer travel for recent Vietnam adventure.
Stella accommodated our needs and requirements efficiently before and during our trip...always remembering our preference for activities, offering options and providing solutions. Whilst away, it was so comforting to know we could call or text Stella and she would reply promptly. This happened on a couple of occasions with sickness and Stella would let our guides know ahead that we require a pharmacy. Another time unexpected flash flooding prompted us to leave a beach location earlier and fly to warmer weather which Stella and her team arranged without a hitch and with minimal notice.
We had a fabulous time thanks to superstar Stella who gave us 100% customer care.

We had the most amazing experience in Bali with the help of Asia Pioneer Travel. A friend recommended their services, now I recommend their services to all of our friends. Our travel specalist, Chloe, was awesome and made sure to give my husband and I the trip we wanted. We were able to do everything we set out to do and do a few things we never would have planned on our own. Because of this, we were truly able to learn and embrace the Balinese culture. Planning our trip was just as stress free as the actual trip itself. I would 100% use Asia Pioneer Travel for future trips!
