She responded quickly to all our requests to personalize the trip. The trip itself went off without a hitch. The guides, hotels, and 24/7 support truly made it a trip of a lifetime. Zero stress only amazing adventures and wonderful memories.

Amazing week in Vietnam . Everything was planed and schedule with such detail. The trip was catered to my preference and every hotel, tour, guide was amazing. I felt such big support having Asia Pioneers behind all my travel plans. We had a wonderful experience with Asia Pioneer Travel (APT). I was traveling to Vietnam for a conference and my wife and I wanted to do some sightseeing afterwards. We were not sure how to navigate the country on our own. We found high ratings for APT on TripAdvisor so wrote to them. We received a response from Chloe almost immediately. We had indicated some places we thought we wanted to see (based on some information from my conference's website), including going to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat. Very quickly, Chloe provided us with a potential tour plan, including many details to let us know what would happen. Most of it suited our needs, but we asked for something else and Chloe modified the plans immediately!

The actual tour matched the planned tour very closely and was great! After talking to some friends, we asked for a somewhat minor adjustment to one day, and Chloe made that happen as well (at a small additional cost).

Our tour guides were very friendly, informative and helpful. In some cases their accent was difficult for us to understand, but that was very minor. We learned a great deal and saw some amazing places, including Ha Long Bay, Da Long and Hoi Ann, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. In addition, the food was amazing! We were able to eat at some of the best places in the cities we visited and the menus were all planned for us.

Having (air-conditioned) transportation was indispensable and made moving through the country carefree. The tour included an overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay and flights to move across the country and into Cambodia. The drivers were careful and friendly and always provided us cold water (which was needed, because Vietnam and Cambodia are very hot and humid in late June!). One even provided us with cold, wet clots to help cool down quickly when returning to the car.

We highly recommend Asia Pioneer Travel to anyone looking to create a customized and personalized trip to Southeast Asia!

Asia Pacific Travel did a great job of organizing and managing our 30 day trip to Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand. The hotels, guides & activities were outstanding. Lam our travel guide does an excellent job of planning the trip.

I was looking for a reputed travel agency when I was planning a trip with my family to Vietnam. ChatGPT suggested Asia Pioneer and a few other agencies. I wrote to all of them. Asia Pioneer was the first one to respond and we decided to go with primarily thanks to our able and responsive travel designer, Stella Nguyen.

Stella reached out on email to me with a tentative itinerary and seeking feedback on any other specific requirements we had. Right from there, we were really supported by Stella all through the trip planning process. Her responsiveness to our queries and accommodative nature helped us plan a fantastic trip. She took special care to ensure that appropriate rooms are booked. We got 2 bedroom serviced apartments instead of hotels, thanks to Stella's foresight on what might be comfortable for us as a family of 4. The apartments were excellent. Stella was always available on call and on whatsapp to check on our comfort and to ensure that everything goes as per plan. Even when there we some minor issues, she immediately got on the problem and sorted it out so that we are never inconvenienced. We are vegetarians and she made sure that we got vegetarian food options everywhere we went throughout the 10 days.

The guides organized by her were really good, knowledgeable and very friendly. Special mention to all our three guides - Mr. Thinh (Tony), Mr. Bang and Mr. Do (Larry). The vehicles that were organized were above our expectations and made all our road trips super comfortable. We enjoyed every bit of our trip to Vietnam, thanks to Stella, our guides and the vehicle drivers.

We are already planning our next trip and are definitely going back to Asia Pioneer for the same.

I had an amazing trip to Central Vietnam with my boyfriend thanks to the help of Ms. Chloe! Ms. Chloe was easy to communicate with, helpful, and responsive. She made sure everything went smoothly with our trip. Our tour guides were both knowledgeable and friendly, the food was delicious, and it was convenient having transportation arranged to/from hotels and airports. This is our second time traveling with Asia Pioneer and like the first time - our recent trip to Thailand did not disappoint! We had an amazing time and saw everything we hoped to and more all the while never feeling rushed or pressured! The hotel/resort choices and tours Ms Chloe planned were spot on and our tour guide Bobby was nothing short of amazing! Where to start with this amazing trip.

My husband and I have been planning our honeymoon with Elly for over 2 years. She was brilliant from the beginning: Taking the ideas we wanted to do and converting it into an amazing honeymoon. Unfortunately, we had to delay the honeymoon due to Covid but this wasn't an issue with Asia Pioneer. The final price was honoured and was moved to the next year with ease and no stress.

I must admit I was initially a bit apprehensive of not using the widely known UK travel agencies. However, once working with Elly, I became more at ease and I knew that the details that were included in the trip and many destinations we wanted to see would have not been easily accommodated with other agencies.

Payment was easy with multiple options on how to pay.

Our honeymoon was a 3 week trip including the following places: Hanoi, Halong Bay, HoiAn, PhuQuoc Island, Ho Chi Min City, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket.

Just to summarise what Elly organised. All domestic flights, the international flight between Vietnam and Thailand, hotels, tour guides, transfers, activities and some meals.

From the moment we were picked up from Hanoi Airport to being dropped at Phuket Airport; we didn't have to organise anything. We were given an extensive copy of our itinerary that we could follow throughout our trip.

We were fortunate to meet Elly in Hanoi who welcomed us to Vietnam. She was available for all of the trip to answer any questions we had. She also gave us a list of all the tour guide numbers and emergency contacts in Bangkok so we were well equipped if we needed support.

The hotels were all brilliant. We were given a selection from Elly and decided before we arrived. The majority of time the hotels were placed in a great location in each area (aside from PhuQuoc which was a resort so meant to be in a remote location). Our favourite was Lasenta Boutique Hotel in Hoi An with its views over looking the rice fields and its infinity pool.

The Tour guides in each location were friendly and very knowledgeable. Aside from one day the rest of our tours were private which was a great experience as the tours were tailored to your interests. Eric (Hanoi), Billy (Hoi An), Ally (Bangkok) and Ank (Chiang Mai) were the tour guides we spent the most time with and they were fantastic at their jobs and ensured that we were enjoying ourselves the entire time.

We had decided that as we were travelling a long distance to Thailand and Vietnam we wanted to make the most of our trip. Elly did not disappoint! I have listed a few of the many activities we did on our honeymoon. We visited multiple temples and historic monuments on detailed city tours, the train and floating market in Bangkok, Walking with elephants, Hot Air Balloon ride, the Vietamese War tunnels, Bana Hills, many boat trips on different vessels, Delicious food tours and set meals and an activity packed cruise ship in Halong Bay.

A massive thanks to Elly and Asia Pioneer for an amazing Honeymoon. Family and friends are in awe of all we did whilst we were in Vietnam and Thailand.

The only downside is I have got used to not having to organise my own holidays! Its going to make planning holidays so much harder now!

Istarted researching a trip to Vietnam back in 2019 and selected Asia
Pioneer (then known as Indochina
Pioneer). was put in contact with project manager Elly Do. From the beginning I knew I found the right company because Elly was extremely responsive and eager to accommodate all of my wishes. Together we built a fantastic itinerary at a very reasonable price. Then covid hit and the world shut down. We had to put off this trip for 3 years and we were finally able to go this March. During the last year we changed our itinerary significantly and added Thailand to the original itinerary of Vietnam and Cambodia. This was no problem for Elly and she rearranged everything. We even challenged her with some adventurous requests (paragliding, helicopter ride and a hot air balloon ride) that were all granted!
She is truly an amazing professional who does everything she can to provide the perfect experience! She even met us out on the first night with welcoming gifts for us! If you are on the fence about this company then worry no longer! You'll be lucky to travel with Asia Pioneer and have Elly as your tour manager! THANK YOU ELLY FOR EVERYTHING!!!!
The tour itself ran PERFECTLY! Every guide and driver we had along the way were amazing. Always on time and always eager to make your experience memorable, so if you wanted to change something in the itinerary it wasn't an issue! Every van we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable and they all provided cold bottled water on those extremely hot days. The hotels we chose were fantastic! I really can't say enough good things about this tour!

To Bang who spent 4 days with us in Hue and Hoi An, you sir are a ROCKSTAR!!!!!. We had such an incredible time with him. He has a knack for knowing exactly what his clients want. He not only brought us to the touristy places but also introduced us the the culture of Vietnam! He went above and beyond and even helped get me medicines when I became sick for 24hrs. He became a true friend and we will cherish everything he did for us!

Trip was well organized. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Hotel accommodation and choice of hotels were satisfactory. Good and prompt communications prior to the trip.

Our group of four had a fantastic 9 day tour of Cambodia and Vietnam organised by our consultant Elly-Do, who sorted out hotels, guides, excursions, flights and everything else in between! From the very start the service was fantastic.

Based on our initial brief and her own recommendations she produced a detailed tour itinerary that she amended swiftly and without complaint numerous times to accommodate our constant tweaks and changes. All queries and questions were also responded to very promptly.

When we got to Cambodia the whole tour ran like clockwork. Friendly and knowledgeable guides and drivers were waiting at every change of location to meet us. All the excursions and meals that they arranged for us were great and times must have been coordinated on the fly by the guides as whenever we arrived for anything we never waited. It was also fantastic that the guides were flexible and able to accommodate any change that we requested without complaint. Nothing was too much trouble.

Based on our own experience I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The company did an amazing job from start to finish. Lizzie was our consultant and she designed a 15-day trip based on my wishes. The company had been recommended by friends who had used them pre-pandemic. Whilst we were in Vietnam Lizzie made herself constantly available to us via Whatsapp for any questions or problems. An airline delay made us 24hrs late so our tour was rescheduled without question. They located a lost wallet. They also made restaurant recommendations for Valentine’s Day, advised on tipping, weather and so much more. Our guides were amazing, especially Maya in the Sapa/Lao Cai area. She is from the Black H’mong tribe and could tell us in great detail how people lived in the villages. Fantastic English! I would not hesitate to use the company again. They made our trip so easy and were very flexible. Half the time we had guides, and half the time we did it ourselves. I could go on forever… the local Sim card we were given as soon as we arrived, the changes that they accommodated at the last minute due to a cancelled Emirates flight, the gifts Elly Do brought us from the Hanoi office, the patience of the guides who incorporated stops for a decent coffee mid-morning…
