I'm not sure what the other reviews subscribed to because my experience has been amazing. The coffee is freshly roasted. The service is quick and consistent. It really couldn't be better.

Ordered a subscription for our office and always have a delish variety of coffee to try, from all over the world. Have learned a lot about what different beans taste like from separate regions, and always shipped with great packaging. Highly recommend Atlas for expanding your coffee horizons.

Atlas prominently advertises a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. What wasn’t clear when I subscribed was that, according to Atlas, it applies only to the first order.

My first coffee was acceptable. The second had an overpowering black-tea taste, like old Lipton, and I couldn’t drink it. I asked for a refund within 30 days. Atlas refused and kept offering a replacement I didn’t want.

Had the “first order only” limitation been made equally clear upfront, I would not have subscribed.

My girlfriend and I are big coffee drinkers, we get 2 bags every 4 weeks. One of my fave things about Atlas is how easy it is to adjust that if ever needed, we can adjust frequency when we want/need, esp as we sometimes host and go through coffee faster than usual (which happens a lot, oh yes yes yes).

As a side vibe – we're always hunting for new local coffee shops, especially when we travel, and Atlas scratches that same itch when we're home in the interim.

The variety and origin discovery is prob. our fave part— we've gotten beans from Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, India, and a bunch of other origins we probably never would've tried otherwise.

One thing we didn't expect, but is a fun/subtle flex, it's become a bit of a conversation piece, anytime we have people over, someone ends up asking about the bags on the counter.

A rip off for over priced coffee that doesn’t even taste good.
Customer service sucks and doesn’t care.

I really liked the idea behind Atlas Coffee Club, and I understand that specialty coffee costs more. But $23 for one bag was already expensive, and increasing the price by 13.7% to about $26 per bag was the point where I decided to cancel.

What made it more frustrating was that I tried to follow the online cancellation instructions, but the cancellation options they referenced were not showing in my account, so I had to contact support instead.

I enjoyed the concept, but at nearly $30 for a single bag of coffee, the value just isn’t there for me anymore.

I was looking for a different kind of coffee to make me feel more energized without feeling jittery. I went through a bunch of them. I did my investigating and the one they said that was the top one was Atlas so I bought it. I didn’t do it right away. It’s been about a week and a half because I’ve been sick but I started at three days ago and it is good which I didn’t know. That was a little strong at first the smell when I opened the bag but I tried it and it’ delicious I like it drunk so I think it’s delicious. I didn’t like was it’s a little pricey for such a small bag even though it had gifts with The that was somewhat empty. I’m sure I might buy some more, but it was good. let’s see how it goes.

It sounded like coffee I would like for my Keurig. Unfortunately, the coffee was bitter and not good tasting. I tried to return it but the fine print made it not worth the effort. Live and learn as they say!

Incredibly deceptive marketing practices. To get new customers they promise great deals and then charge you differently.
Their website currently says "$17 - "price per shipment"!
Buy on the second shipment they charged me $36.95.
When I asked Customer Service why, their response: "The mention of 35% off is in comparison to buying a 6oz half bag option!" Completely misleading and downright fraudulent.
My first shipment I thought the coffee was terrible, so it was a quick "cancel subscription!" from me. Disappointing.

Started subscription order after seeing an ad. Never received the first shipment, got emails saying they couldn’t deliver to my address as written and please verify address. Which I did repeatedly. Then I received an email saying they were sending out the second shipment the same day I received an email saying they wouldn’t refund my money on the first order because, according to their policies, I didn’t verify my address. Luckily I went through PayPal and the recurring payments are stopped and I should be getting refunded for coffee never received.

I repeatedly contacted Atlas Coffee Club by email to cancel my subscription and stop future coffee shipments. I wasn't even asking for a refund—only that my account be closed.

Although I received emails confirming my cancellation request and an apology, I continued receiving automated payment notices. The website did not allow me to cancel the subscription myself, so I had to rely on customer service.

Despite my repeated requests and Atlas's confirmation that my account would be closed, my card was later charged, and another shipment of coffee was sent.

Based on my experience, canceling this subscription was much more difficult than expected. Consider this before signing up.  At first coffee was delicious, in many ways, it lost its taste. 

I received my first shipment, it was from El Salvador. It is excellent coffee. So I upped my next shipment expecting coffee from a different place, but it was the same coffee. The advertising makes it seem as if you will get coffee From around the world. So far not true.

I received a 12 month subscription as a gift. I have been a bold coffee drinker my entire life. The first shipment included bold, medium and mild bags. The bold was fantastic, the medium less than great. I contacted customer service to see if future shipments could only include the bold variety. The answer was no. Does Atlas expect to change my coffee drinking habit by offering strengths i have no interest in? Not impressed!!

Their ad dropped on my Facebook page and I signed up for a 4 box trial, 2 of Guatemala and 2 Honduras. The colorful boxes signal that good coffee is coming.
Unfortunately what I got was junk. I made a cup of each at the same time. There was no difference between the two. They tasted like plaster, paper, and ash, something very old. I cannot comment about all their products, but one would think that for a new client they would be putting their best foot forward. So I have to assume the rest of the line is not any better.
I was able to cancel my subscription online following instructions I received. They won't cancel for you.
I do not recommend.

Horrible coffee. Terrible customer support

The coffee is fantastic. It ships quickly, but customer support NEVER responds. First instance: I noticed when I submitted my first order, I was charged, refunded, and then charged again a different (lower) amount. I reached out for clarification that I never received. The second instance: I noticed that the coffee price went from $8 a bag and ~$17 with shipping to $22 for ONE bag of Twelve ounce coffee. When I reached out to understand the price change, I did not receive a response. Incredibly disappointed because my dad and I have love trying these coffees and they have truly been tasty, but the lack of customer support and being overcharged without notice or explanation has been off putting.

If I could give negative stars then I would do just that. I ordered 3 box subscription for 50 percent off regular price. I received 2 out of 3 boxes. I reached out to customer service via email. They were apologetic and said that they would send out the missing box. I received the “missing” box today and it was a duplicate of one of the other coffees that I already had. The coffee is not even that good to go through all this hassle. I should have come to trust pilot before even ordering with this company.
