My wife and I had Jay round to our house here in Spain. We had two visits, the first visit was information gathering. Jay was absolutely great his manner and depth of knowledge second to none, I will also add he was not pushy at all so the decisions made were ours. We would recommend Avalon to anyone, we have had a great experience.

Easy to understand information

On behalf of my husband Simon and myself, Stuart was very thorough with all of the details, explained everything, and left nothing out, we were able to ask him what we needed. Feel very confident and content with our choices. Only negative reviews I've read were things that are clear on the terms and conditions, that should have been read first by the negative reviewers. We already had a Funeral Plan with Avalon. However we moved to Greece & they unfortunately do not cover this area. When we moved back to Spain we contacted Avalon. Their approach to us was extremely professional from start to finish. Jay Patel visited us yesterday & his presentation was most professional & we felt at ease in his company. I would not hesitate in recommending Avalon.

We previously had funeral plans with Avalon before moving to Greece in 2021.
As they do not cover that country we applied for a refund (less administrative costs) and were impressed by the friendly yet professional manner in which this request was dealt with.
On our return to Spain we contacted Avalon to arrange new plans and, yesterday, their representative, Jay Patel, called to see us.
Jay was friendly and we felt relaxed and not under any pressure while listening to his presentation. He answered all our questions and we chose the appropriate plan from the options he had outlined.
From the initial emails and telephone calls to Jay’s visit the entire team should be congratulated on their approach to clients both current and prospective.

Ashley explained in full about Avalon & the options available for funeral plans. He was very kind & understanding while dealing with a subject which I found a difficult thing to talk about. All aspects of the plans were explained including what is or isn't included.

It was the time in my life where I though I should start putting in place hopefully in plenty of time the arrangements for my death so my loved ones didn’t have that additional stress and upset and not know my wishes.

Gavin Paskin was my assigned client consultant and I have to say he made the whole process clear, easy and quick. No fuss, no upsetting conversations, I got full choice and there was no manipulated in anyway in my choice. He made sure I understood what was available, all my options and gave me time to consider them and discuss them with my family before committing. Everything was fully and clearly explained and my questions fully answered. For something so difficult to face into he made it very relaxed and reassuring. I really like the life locker feature. So I can start documenting my wishes clearly for my loved ones. I highly recommend Avalon and Gavin and will be recommending him to my friends.

Talking about funerals is not a subject we like talking about for obvious reasons. However we saw an advert for Avalon Puneral plans and we decided to discuss the issue. We agreed to talk with an adviser from Avalon. Getting to where we reside is not easy so our meeting took place via zoom. We met the representative whose name was Andy Durrant. He explained everything in detail and very compassionately. After our meeting with Andy we decided to go ahead with the plan.
We believe we have done the correct thing, not only for ourselves but for our wider family.
If you need anyone to explain this subject to you then Andy is definitely the guy. He was excellent

The Avalon agent was very clear, the information provided comprehensive and easy to understand and handled in a appropriate manner. As said, we haven't experienced the full service but we feel confident that it will go ahead as planned. We did a lot of research prior to signing up and this company, in our opinion offered the best all round service.
