A very painless experience. Good communication and Adam, the Surveyor contacted us prior to the inspection to check if we had any specific areas of concern. We received the report promptly, before the time frame provided.

Very prompt response on initial query regarding availability and price.
Andrew, the surveyor, phoned on the morning of the survey to clarify a couple of potential issues and asked if there was anything in particular on which I would like him to focus.
The report was emailed through the following afternoon (how efficient).
Having looked over the report for a couple of days I asked that Andrew contacted me to discuss the report which he did later that day.
Andrew answered all my questions fully and clarified any statements within the report.

Dealing with Lou in the office at Avery and Andrew the Surveyor was so easy and efficient. Andrew surveyed our house for the buyers and I was so impressed by his professionalism I booked him to do the survey for the new house.

The surveyor conducted a thorough inspection of my property & fully appreciated the quality of my property & the area in which my property is located.
In my opinion the valuation fully reflected the true value of my property & for that reason I was extremely grateful & additionally pleased with how the valuation concluded.

We had our first Level 2 report done on 10/07/2025 on a property we really liked, when we received the report it never left a corner of the house unmentioned, so much so it appeared from what was written that it needed a total rebuild. As I am not a surveyor or builder etc. we had to go by the surveyors findings. This led us to pull out of the purchase and start again. On 31/07/2025 the same surveyor visited the new property we had found and carried out a Level 2 survey. When we received the same again everything was reported on, including things that were not related to the property. It was mentioned that there were velux style windows installed in the roof and these should be checked for water leakage?? Checked pictures of house, returned to property with Estate Agent and No Velux Windows. Contacted Surveyor and he agreed that this was a mistake on his behalf, it now makes me wonder if I should have checked the first property report. We rely on these reports to make our decision on a home and trust they are right, this time it wasn't. Upon contacting Avery of course it is not their fault, it was the person typing the same which is put out to do as it is a Level 2. Of course thank you for paying for 2 surveys, each over £500 within the same month, please come again. I do not think so.

Firstly they were really helpful in recommending what level of survey we had. Bill who did the survey gave so much detail in the report, which was very useful as there were quite a few issues that he picked up on. They were great with answering questions after. Would definitely use again, very professional and helpful.

Called for an appointment, was all arranged in the matter of weeks. Very happy with the person who came round to do the survey and the outcome. Cost was as I expected and no hidden fees! Would recommend!

Outstanding service. Ive had nothing but problems selling my "help to buy" house. I was rhen let down at the last minute by another company. Avery & co moved could not have done more to help me. From the lady in the call centre who went out of yer way to contact my local surveyor and ask a favour. To the surveyor who was super professional and friendly who then fast tracked my report so i wold not miss my deadline. And the office for speeding things through. I'm so grateful (& just wish i chose Avery & Co first as it would have saved me a lot of £) and highly recommend especially if your confused with the help to buy stuff

My Level 2 Report was undertaken in a timely fashion and in a comprehensive manner including specific issues I highlighted. Ultimately it has provided me with confidence and reassurance to proceed with the purchase of the property in question.
