Quick, friendly and easy to talk to. The survey was very detailed which was great but as a first time buyer it was overwhelming for me. This wasn't an issue because I just called up like they advised in their email and talked through it with the surveyor who explained it simply for me.

I contacted Avery & Co when my solicitors for a house move put me in a difficult position for getting a survey completed. I had been told by others it would take weeks. Once i explained my situation, they couldn't have been more helpful making some calls to see if they could make arrangements to provide the survey in days not weeks. They listen to my needs and went out of their way to help, the final product was excellent too. I am so thankful to Avery & Co for helping me, i would recommend them to anyone, excellent, professional, friendly company.

The whole team at Avery & Co have been fabulous from the very first interaction. I originally purchased a RICs valuation from them for Homes England, and subsequently needed a desktop extension for this. They went above and beyond, not only providing the valuations swiftly, but also helping me in dealing with some frustrating Homes England issues that were outside of Avery & Co's control. Can't recommend them highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Kate especially was absolutely FAB! :)

Avery have been brilliant from the initial contact to the final report. We had a Level 2 HomeBuyers Report done, and Adam was our surveyor. The report was well written and clear, and he was more than happy to call us and discuss it in detail. We were fairly inexperienced and unsure how concerned we should be about various issues, but he reassured us in some areas and gave solid advice on next steps. Really grateful.

We’ve had to use Avery & Co twice in the space of three months, and on both occasions they’ve been absolutely brilliant.

The first property was a complete disaster — not just the house, but the issues the survey uncovered. The surveyor didn’t just send a detailed report; he went above and beyond by spending a lot of time on the phone with me and my partner, carefully explaining everything in plain English. Thanks to him, we had the information and confidence we needed to decide the house wasn’t right for us. Back to the property hunt we went!

The second survey was handled by a different surveyor, who called us beforehand to ask what we were looking for and what our concerns were. Once again, the report was thorough and professional. Thankfully, this house was far more straightforward, but the surveyor still took the time to walk us through the results and answer our questions.

Worth mentioning — the second property was technically outside their usual area, but Avery & Co were happy to accommodate and even honoured their returning customer discount.

In my opinion the Level 2 Home Buyers Survey and Valuation was timely, informative, clear and germane to my decision making regarding the property in question. Well worth the price.

Alex helped myself and my partner with the Empty Homes Grant offered by the Welsh Government. He was good to work with, easily contactable and continues to be available for advice on progress of the house we’re working on.

Although Bill was very thorough and knowledgeable,I needed to discuss some of the more ambiguous findings with him but the person who took my phone call to request this did not think I should be able to do this, as it wasn’t protocol. She also denied my request for a paper copy, which I needed as our printer had just broken. For £2, 000 I did not think this was an unreasonable request.

Very Professional, great communication and the surveyor was friendly, professional and prompt with the report.
