Absolutely useless company with appalling customer service
This company has some of the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They were supposed to collect my old company car on 16th December and never showed up. They then rearranged for 21st December and again never showed up. What's worse, they won't commit to a collection time, or even AM/PM, and don't bother to tell you that they aren't going to show up and just expect you to sit at home, day after day, until they eventually bother to turn up to collect your car. What an absolute shambles of a company. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
London / Enfield site is a dump!
Went the London / Enfield site to collect a car.
What an unwelcoming site: no waiting room for drivers, all transactions done in the freezing fresh air and no toilets - this surely is a public health risk..!
The whole place looks like a tip… for example a plastic chair being the exit barrier…

Don't have any real skilled mechanics working there unless you call dog walker and bakers mechanics. Cars are not inspected by qualified techs just Joe blogs off the boat. The managers are racist. There is no quality control no auto data for doing jobs. Most of the cars are just stuck together and thrown out the door. As for a full service you received when buying your car was just an oil and filter with probably the wrong oil in in.

I have been trading with BCA for over…
I have been trading with BCA for over 50 yrs and have a platinum card. When i recently bid for a car the screen froze which resulted in me purchasing a different car. BCA refused to accept that it was their system at fault and insisted i paid for the car. This resulted in a loss over £2000. When it happened again i refused again to pay for the car explaining i had not bid on the car i had won and it was their system at fault again.
I have now had my account frozen as i refuse to pay for a car i did not want or bid on. BCA are now threatening to put the car back in the sale without any reserve and i will have to pay the loss.
Terrible customer service. BCA just do what they want.

Cars with dog hair should be declared as it is an expensive/labour intensive job to clean dog hair and some people are allergic to it. THEY MUST BE PROPERLY CLEANED AND DECLARED AS A MATTER OF HEALTH ISSUE. ENOUGH TRASH FROM BCA SCUMBAGS.

I am deeply saddened by the lack of quality standard customer service this worldwide company has provided me. In this instance the customer service department, should be about listening and trying to resolve a customers problems, not make them worse. In this scenario, We refused a vehicle, as it was not operational and was not we where not willing to hand over our hard earned cash, for a pile of rubbish. However, the service, we received if you can call it service?! Was in the style of an autocratic dictatorship, which is not to listen, but tell the customer to pay with no if no buts and threaten us with debt collection agency, even though we refused the car and no money was exchanged and the vehicle was not as described. I would recommend Rebecca Chapman who works as a administration manager within the admin team at Wolverhampton, either learns how respectful listen to her customer and try in good faith to help customers. If you are not willing to do so. I am sure managing a lonely light house will be more fitting with your lack of customer empathy. This will ensure you will have no contact with humans and just use light signals. However, I fear you may blind them. BCA I think you need to modernise, we aren’t in the 80s anymore where you can threaten customers into giving you money if it doesn’t go your way.

What an absolute shower of rubbish BCA now are. Since they've started We Buy Any Car, Cinch, Marshalls of Cambridge and (I'm told) a 20% share of Pendragon, instead of being a supplier to the trade, they are now our biggest rivals. Just about every car coming into the market goes through BCA hands in one way or another. If the car is good, it is given to CINCH to retail, leaving us, the independent car retailers, old, worn out, high mileage crap.
Apart from that, I sold two cars TWO WEEKS AGO and still not received a penny from BCA.
All sales are on-line only so NOBODY takes any responsibility for anything. Everything has to be done via email. Try calling them and you are sent from one re-recorded waste of time load of 'options' to another, and another, and another until you either end up where you started an hour ago or, you just get cut off.
The directors of the various, and numerous companies under the control of 'Constellation' (who own BCA and all the other connected companies) are nothing but a load of greedy a***holes who couldn't give a damn about anyone, or anything, except money, and more ways of getting more money. The business ethos has completely gone.
After years of working, and enjoying the motor trade, I am getting out and really hope I never have to deal with anyone, or anything to do with BCA ever again.
Totally inefficient - would NEVER use by choice.
Our lease contract was extended due to new vehicle not having been built. From this time we have had nothing but hassle and threatening letters from BCA advising us to arrange a collection/inspection.
Eventually after extending for 3 months and after numerous emails, texts, phone calls, letters from BCA WE asked for a collection/delivery.
This was arranged for 1st July. - Sorry Driver cant get you!! This was at 3pm after I had waited in all day.
Rescheduled - 5th July - again a no show by 5.30pm.
Again another day wasted! And I am paying insurance for a car which has nothing to do with us!
I did have a very nice lady yesterday trying to sort out this shambles, fingers crossed for 7th July!!

One of the worst companies that I've had the misfortune of dealing with.
They are even worst now that they have a monopoly with we buy any car, Cinch, and other companies under their control.
Everything is centralised now and you cannot email or talk to local branches easily. Most of the staff have been booted out since covid as they are running all auctions online.
The condition reports and assured report they charge extra for are not worth the paper they are written on!
Trade buyers on anything less than Platinum or Black are treated like crap and are just a statistic in this vast monster of a corporation.

Please do not sign your end of lease inspection you will have been duped!!
We had an end of lease inspection and where totally duped! Please be aware!!! We were shown a few items on an iPad, which we agreed with and asked to sign. I was then sent an email detailing over £2300 worth of damage! I’m so cross and totally in shock! This is our 6th lease car and Ive never ever had this before. How this company sleeps at night is beyond me, because now I can’t sleep with a £2000 plus damage bill to fight!!! Luckily I have photo evidence of my car plus CCTV evidence. Why do the the lease company’s use the auction house inspection service and not an independent one I will never know!! Total and utter scam artists!

I wouldn't even give this company 1 star, They are selling scrap cars for thousands. Do not buy from them, somebody needs to start a lawsuit against its criminal.

Difficult to give even a 1 star. .. shockingly poor service .. If you bid on a car you are bidding against the auction which in the vast majority of times actually own the car through various companies like we buy any car etc. Auctions are meant to be impartial which this is not the case with BCA. Vehicle appraisals can be significantly different to its actual condition and even obvious damage is many times overlooked or the photos are taken in poor light or at angle that it is impossible to make a judgment of its actual condition. You are buying solely online and as such you are totally reliant on their appraisal.
The basic essential check is a total waste of £9 as any dealer will tell you that they would want a healthy engine and gearbox rather than know that the n/s front wing mirror works?.
The auction is fully aware in my opinion of serious faults and choose not to disclose that to their loyal customers. If you are new to the motor trade my advise would be to source stock from BCA with extreme caution.

I haven’t actually brought a car from BCA but when there was a paperwork mix up with we buy any car (they kept the log book with our personalised plates, even thought we wanted to retain them, as well as the log book with the original plates) I went up to the Bristol branch to try and sort it out. I found Winston on the gate so friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond in trying to sort this out for us out. I can’t thank him and Sharon (who I didn’t actually meet but works in the office) enough. You are an absolute credit to the company. Thank you.
