Do NOT trust the paper it's written for…
Do NOT trust the paper it's written for BCA Assured vehicle, only bit assured is you will be assured when making a claim it will be rejected. Bought car, ICE doesn't work, they inspected saying it powers up.....NO ICE stands for In Car Entertainment, having the screen powering up with warning message is a useless test, ICE is used for is play sound and if it powers up and doesnt play sound in my book there is a fault. Now I am lumbered with a £2k replacement
BCA Assured...it's actually NOT. Don't bid more with cars with BCA Assured

Need a class action lawsuit!!
Seriously unbelievable this is even a legal business. Trading standards should be all over it. Three cars in a row I buy "Approved" with no lights etc. Approved cars from We Buy Any Car. All three have had major issues in excess of £2,000, with one having the light turn on WHILST STILL IN BCA! VERY obvious they are turning off lights, etc!! No matter what you do, how hard a fuss you kick up, etc they will have some term, agreement or clause that gets them out of it. Absolute criminals and anybody working for them to help facilitate such a disgusting practice should be equally ashamed. Claims managers who are happy to shaft you with £2,000-£3,000 problems when you're paying CAP clean for a car that is advertised as without faults. The arrogance of them too, it's like they enjoy how much they screw you. Every trader should get together and file a class action lawsuit against this monopoly. Unbelievable WBAC, BCA and Cinch owned by the same people and all three businesses make a killing whilst traders and Joe Public get screwed at every angle. I cannot stress how much you should avoid BCA!!!
I have been using BCA for a number…
I have been using BCA for a number years now. Here is the key points of my experience
- The auctioneers bid themselves on the car and you will not know if you are bidding against another dealer or auctioneer
- You cannot view the vehicles in person (online only), any vehicles you purchase with Essential check, you cannot claim on anything even if the engine is falling out
- Customer service is non existent
- BCA own webuyanycar so all the junk they purchase from member of the public goes to the auction

I’ve been a car trader for 30 years
I’ve been a car trader for 30 years. Never have I come across such a shoddy company. Just selling what I’d describe as crap that people give them through ‘We buy any car’ and doing a half hearted inspection and selling it as approved. God forbid if there’s any problems because you’ve got no chance of any kind of compensation or return of vehicle. If you go down the legal route all they do is close your account and bye bye. What an absolute disgrace. How are they getting away with it..
Awful Customer Service
Awful Customer Service, must be arrogance from the old days, they send an "urgent" letter by 2nd class post which takes a week, then the online booking does not work because you never get the verification e-mail,then when you ring the ine cuts out after 5 seconds.
where to start?
where to start, there is so much wrong with that company, from top to bottom. I am sick and tired of fighting them about everything. They make new rules up and treat you like the enemy and I spent millions a year with them. Still spending too much with them and low retail prices are same as top auction and none of the hassle. I serve Irish clients only and retail offers enough of a saving without the 'trying to catch you out' culture in BCA. If you can, stay away.
Exceptional customer service
Exceptional customer service. Ian was wonderful to work with - he was supportive, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. His attention to detail and willingness to help made my experience a truly positive one.
Solo quieren dinero.
Shambolic
Shambolic. Messed up the collection of my car twice. Contact centre staff give the impression that you are disturbing their day when you call, and couldn't be less interested in trying to resolve a query. The supervisor that "took ownership" of my case now avoiding my calls. Probably the worst customer service I have received, if I could give negative starts I would.
Awful company
Awful company. No one cares and will not turn up on day expected. Still waiting after multiple days off work. Just a joke of a company.
nobody cares at all
Olly messes up my invoice , Louise and Jordan completely refuse to help .
Error is on BCAs part yet nobody wants to take responsibility .
PJ21 RPX
just asked one of their drivers to move down a bit as he was blocking the entrance to a protected layby.i was told where to go by the driver who was illegally parked in a dangerous manner.i was just met with foul and abusive language from the driver.i told him i would report this to BCA logistics but said they wont care anyway.puts us professional drivers in a bad light but we are not all like him.
Obvious fault
Bought lots of cars, but this one was a total joke. In the report says only coolant low on yellow, nothing else mentioned. When collected it outside the site I thought I better check everything. I found spitted coolant hose very obvious + the smoke coming out of the coolant tank. When tried to claim they rejected.... Don't believe in any reports trust me. It is my first bad review in my whole life so it can show you how frustrated I am. It's a shame I cannot show you the picture you would be laughing. Its a gamble at the end of the day you don't know for what you spending your money for
Spoke to Phil in BCA claims
Spoke to Phil in BCA claims, I collected the vehicle at BCA Bedford, I heard and felt knocking in which I immediately went back into branch and told them. They advised that an engineer would be out to diagnose, a young man turned up with no diagnostic machine drove it around the car park and said did not find anything. So he went inside and the other BCA agent called Jacob Brown was present so I told him to jump in the car and drove around the same car park and he told me he heard the noise. But as he’s not an engineer he would only be allowed to add on the system that I said I heard the knocking, then 5mins later after reaching the M1 the EML light illuminated. This is a clear error on BCA or its engineer either the fault code was cleared or the vehicle was not checked. As the report should have stated at a minimum that the vehicle was knocking/rattling as this can be heard and does not need to be driven. As stated by Phil that BCA don’t do drive tests so there's no way they would have known. Dekra engineers sent by BCA did not drive the vehicle to establish the vehicle was knocking.
Its clear to see that these facts show the timing chain issue was covered up by BCA
as no mention of knocking was declared at point of sale, this fact alone voids the contract of sale, but NO! As BCA have updated their terms so if a vehicle has a timing chain issue it does not need to be included on the mechanical report, what a scam. How can I buy another car from this scam company when they cover things up, and falsify mechanical reports, never again BCA!!!!!!!!!!!!
PE64 UUD LORRY CRASHED INTO ME.
Absolutely shocking company. One of their drivers PE64 UUD hit the back of my pick up on a roundabout going into Portsmouth, he was in the completely wrong lane and tried swerving across at the last minute. Fail to give me any details. His boss on the phone told he he doesn’t need to give any. It’s amazing how they knew if they give no details they would get away with it. Watch out for these drivers, I suggest if anyone of their drivers hits into you be careful. You may need to take matters into your own hands.
Bca Logistics CLUELESS
Bca Logistics
You can judge a service provider by the way they treat their employees. I worked for the company for over seven years and found them to be the worst. Poor pay, poor support, bad strategic logistics and poor H & S to employees. Their latest edict appears to be to limit fueling of cars to £10 a stop!!! Let you work out how many fuel stops on a 400 mile delivery!!! Absurd, if I ever need the services of such a company, it certainly won't be this one
Car Batteries Missing when Collected.
I dealt with BCA for many years as a bidder/buyer and could fill pages of reports on how Murphy's Law "If something can go wrong it will" applies to them. What was annoying was if you went to collect from them an auction-purchased car or HGV truck you knew that 10% of the time the car batteries would be missing presumed stolen. After discovering this: if you went to the vehicle car keys collection office to complain the staff on duty offered to find you another battery in return for a £10.00 tip, several times I watched them as they went into the yard and stole someone else's battery to give you. I once saw they had a collection of 8 presumed stolen batteries taken from vehicles lined up in their key shed to sell complainants. I am guessing that when other car buyers turned up in a similar position to myself and complained they may well have sold him his own vehicle stolen batteries back. These yard-men treat this activity as a joke, and not serious fraud and theft. This has been going on for years and appears unstoppable. I am certain other car dealers and trade plate collectors will support this allegation.
