The item is supposed to be a genuine hand-stitched leather bag, and what was sent was a plastic knockoff. The website still offers a 30-day refund with no questions asked. When I tried to return the item, they said their policy does not accept returns on that item.
I went back to the website to double-check if I missed it, and it did not have a final sale, but did state returnable within 30 days no questions asked.

I ordered a purse came to me 3 1/2 weeks later. Absolutely nothing like the purse that was on there web site!!!! Made so cheap no handmade purse and stitching were ever put into the purse. It's a SCAM DON'T BUY it came from China and the free return YOU have to pay for which will cost you more then what you actually paid!!!! I had to deal with them for weeks to ask for a return label Well I still have the purse dropping it off at goodwill or Salvation army. They will not give you your money back!! I got scammed. Makes me sick

I ordered three handbags on January 9th that I bought as gifts for my daughter. I flew to see her on February 12th so I assumed that there was plenty of time to receive the bags. After a few weeks of not hearing anything from the merchant, I emailed them and asked when I would get my package. I continued to receive a generic email telling me that I could not track my parcel until it had shipped. I emailed them explaining that I needed to cancel the order because it would not arrive in time. I could not cancel because it was still in the process of shipping. The bags arrived after I had already flown out to visit my daughter. I emailed saying that I need to return the bags. I have received FIVE generic email back all saying: Our policy doesn't allow returns on this item. That said, I'd be happy to look into what options might be available for you — just let me know. I have asked them what my other options are and I continued to get the same response.

I purchased two purses, for my wife, for Valentines Day, they arrived on Saturday, February the 14th 2026. Boy was I embarrassed when my wife opened the bag. The purses are made of cheap plastic, made in China, not Italy as advertised. They are absolutely not 100% leather nor are they made by an Italian craftman and his daughter. Buyer beware Bellatorri Bags is 💯% a scam. I tried to return and they will not provide a prepaid return shipping label. Cost to return to China is between 60-70 percent of paid value plus insurance. Now I am requesting help from my credit card company to see if they can help.

I wish I would have read all the reviews before purchasing- I spent $80 on some trash. Not a leather bag- it’s plastic. I am siooo disappointed. To return you must pay all cost to ship back to China! And it could be 50-60% of what you paid. This was a bait and hook. They said you can get 20% back to save the environment but my email bounces back with the same thank you for your feedback. I bought a genuine leather bag and got a knockoff. The bag was not leather at all looks like something made in China. Then the refused to allow me to return the product.

I bought this as a birthday gift. Product was advertised as genuine Tuscan leather, made in Italy, lined with cotton twill and arriving within 3-5 days if ordered within the USA. 30 Day returns were offered. Product arrived 17 days later, too late to be a birthday gift as intended. It was cheap plastic, stunk of chemicals, and unlined. When I attempted to return it, I was told I'd need to pay to return it to China. A discount that was initially 10% and then 20% was offered. I was instructed to state the value was 50 RMB ($7) on the customs form to avoid delays. I have disputed the charge on my credit card and urge others to do the same.

Saw the ad that this fine goods leather Italian craftsman was retiring and to buy his products while still available. Turned out its a scam company from China. Beautiful website but what arrived was a cheap, $10 vinyl shoulder bag that smelled of the toxic plastic it was made with. Plus, the plastic bag it was wrapped in had Chinese symbols so not from Italy, not quality leather, and certainly not made from a master craftsman. Total fraud. When I contacted them as to what I received, the answer I got was "So sorry you feel that way." Instead of reading their glowing online reviews, I should have checked if there were complaints. Saw this ad in the NY Times so thought it was a legit company. The Times needs to vet their advertisers better.

Bellatorri is GARBAGE....A complete SCAM bait and switching out of Hong Kong. AMEX wouldn't even help me get my Money Refunded. Stay AWAY from BELLATORRI.

After long delivery time you receive a cheap looking small replica of fake materials. NOT the leather bag on the webside! No brandname inside or outside - only Chaina stickers on the plastic raping.
And you will not get your money back..

Do not purchase from this website. It is NOT a father-daughter business. It is in fact, a multi-brand Chinese company that will ship PLASTIC MASS PRODUCED garbage. And if you dispute, they will offer only pennies to what you paid/spent. STAY AWAY!

From the minute I opened the parcel, I knew something was wrong. The bags were vinyl, not leather. Red flags went off in my head. I contacted the company, which was supposed to be Bellatorri Leather. They got back to me right away, offering a 10% refund of $184.00. I said no, I want a full refund as you described on your site. A 100% refund if I am not satisfied. They contacted me shortly after and offered me a 20% refund of $184.00. I said no. I want a full refund of $184.00. They took a little longer to get back to me. But said I could return the bags for a refund. I noticed the package return address was in California. I said I would return to that address. They declinedand said only returns went to the Chinese address. They informed me that I had to pay for return shipping. They would send me a label and would deduct the return postage from my refund. I said no. I will pay here in the US, and you will owe me the full refund of $184.00. They gave me China's address, and I paid $48.00 to return the bags. I am now waiting to hear from them to confirm the return and the expected refund date.

I am very disappointed with the bag I received. It is smaller than the measurements in the order description and the leather is cheap. Not a good weight like I would expect for the money I spent. Not good quality. The design was cute but that doesn't make up for the quality. When I contacted the company requesting to return the item for a refund, I was told that they would offer 10%, then 20% refund and I could keep the bag. Do you know how much money they are taking from people? They know that people will not pay international costs to ship the bags back, so they prey on this point and only give a few dollars back, thinking it will satisfy the customer. Well, not me. I am insulted by them.

Boots did not match description and were three sizes too small. When I asked for a refund they attempted to get more money out of me or only 10% of the purchase price. When I pushed I wanted to return the boots for a refund, they sent me a really sketchy list of instructions including listing the value as lower than what it actually is and that a refund would only be released after I sent the boots back on my own dime....or I could be "kind to the environment" and accept a 20% refund of the purchase price.

Bellatori must be a scam from China. The bag that my wife ordered ( $80 ) looks like something you would get at a Dollar store. They offer returns on their site but no one will respond via the e address they gave

This is a ripoff site. For more than $130. I was sent cheap looking boots that were a full size too small, and a jacket that would only fit a baby doll, not an adult woman. It took more than a month to receive my order, so I suspected they were bunk. They offered me $27. to just keep the order that I cannot use! Never buy anything from these scammers!

I saw their website stating these bags are handmade in Italy. Wrong!
I ordered my bag over a month ago and found out upon tracking that it is coming from China. I’m still waiting and have sent 2 emails to the company and the fact that I have not received a response, tells me it is a scam.
Don’t buy from them!

This scam company deserves less than zero. Bags are trashy plastic, nothing like what is advertised. After placing the order, I began to see Asian names associated with delivery. I should have known.

They advertise leather jackets and then send you a non-leather jacket - JUNK!
They advertise leather purses, but then send faux leather purses.
They say they will send you a prepaid label for the return. Then say that you must pay for the return.
FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!
Do not buy from them.
