The item looks nothing like description or pictures! It will cost me more to return it than the $63 I spent?!

THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ROSA BAG IS DOUBLE THE SIZE OF THE PICTURE AND FAKE LEATHER. TO RETURN, THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR POLICY AND WANT YOU TO PAY TO GET IT BACK TO CHINA NOT TUSCANY, AND SOPHIE IS PART OF AN ELABORATE STORY THAT IS MADE UP. THIS ISN'T REAL LEATHER, THEY ARE A JOKE OF A BUSINESS BUT SCAM PEOPLE WELL. I'M SO UPSET.........I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC HOPEFULLY MORE WILL FOLLOW SUIT SO THERE PRODUCTS CAN'T GET HERE..I AM SEETHING.

The products are not leather.

Don’t be fooled. They were advertised on NEW YORK TIMES website, so I FOOLISHLY thought it was legitimate.
And then when you try to return the items, it’s impossible.

If I could give one star I would. This is a fake company that used to operate as Karen's bags. That's the website I got scammed from so when I saw these pictures and read the story of old man Enzo I couldn't believe they popped up again. Same exact photos of products they claim are genuine leather but are not in fact they are not even plastic??? If I had to guess I would say some sort of synthetic something? Why in the world would someone who handcrafts leather items ship them from China? Do not spend your money on any of these products. Read the return policy carefully and you will notice all returns are paid for by the customer and they are shipped back to China. Huge red flag. When I returned the piece of crap leather tote they claimed to ship to me the return sat in customs for months without any movement. So I did my part and waited and waited for my refund which they stated could only be provided after they received the item. But since it sat in customs that means no one from this company was ever planning on picking up the returned item so I just called my credit card company filed a dispute and got my money back. I was still out of 60 plus dollars for the shipping fees though. I reported Karen's bags to consumer affairs because this is a true bait and switch. However it looks like they just closed down Karen's bags and are now selling under this new website with good old man Enzo as their front person. Save your money and only buy from a trusted source.

Ordered handmade Tuscan Leather Handbag made in Tuscany. Just received a piece of plastic imitation from China. Didn't know anything about China initially until charge appeared. It quite clearly states handmade in Tuscany by father and daughter. Also, on the website it quotes if you are not satisfied to return it within 30 days for a full refund and that they will provide a prepaid return label, see extract from website
"Not happy? Return within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked. We'll email you a prepaid return label."
Now they're trying to say I would have to pay for shipping and any customs and duty charges for the return to China! They are on Amazon so I'm gonna write to Amazon too. Don't accept it. Contact your credit card provider and dispute the fraudulent advertising and their attempts to prevent you returning bags by making it cost prohibitive.

The item took over a month to deliver and when arrived it was a fake plastic handbag from China. Do not get ripped off by this company and them saying they are going out of business..it's a complete sham. It is not Italian and it is not leather

The website is VERY misleading. The bags are NOT handmade. They are made and shipped from CHINA! It took over a month to receive the two bags I ordered.

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! They go through the trouble of putting together such a beautiful story and website, but absolutely NOTHING on it is genuine leather....DON'T DO IT!!

The boots I ordered are advertised as "Genuine Leather Boots." The material is NOT leather; it is vinyl.

Run, don't walk away from this fraud.

Says the product is leather; it's not.

Says it's made in Tuscany; it's not.

Implies it's beautiful. It's not - it looks and actually smells fake.

If you want to return a product you have to pay the shipping costs... To China.
