Sirloin 💯 Rubbish

Ordered 5/6 kilo sirloin absolutely disgusting, the thinnest piece of meat was same as fat 1ins fat to 1in meat .tried different ways to contact best meats they don't won't to know .have now blocked me from making any comments or upload photos .I purchased this for my son & family £80 is a lot to me being a pentioner it wasn't fit for purpose full of gristle wot little meat there was .buy from your local butcher ,and you can see wot your getting

Order at your own risk; you've been warned!

Firstly, I would like to state (me being the bigger person!) that this isn't a hit piece. I am aware that mistakes can happen as we are all human, but one thing I won't accept is unprofessionalism and abuse/Threats, especially when I've followed all the correct measures. I even contacted the email helpline (which is emmabestmeat@ gmail.com for anyone who needs it, since it seems to be hidden 🤔). As someone in the hospitality industry who has recommended Best Meats to 10+ people(they're all aware and will shop elsewhere), let this be a reminder that if you buy meat online, take photos of the contents of your order straight away for your own peace of mind and due diligence in case you're threatened with fraud! Document everything! Even the disposable proof. I will be taking this further if they decide to play the long game here.

My original issue wasn't with Best Meats it was more so with the delivery couriers so for them to crashout without even flagging a customer case report isn't right. As I said above this wasn't originally me coming for the company personally (untill i came here to read the reviews and found out it was infact Admin lady Emma contacting me via Facebook giving abuse) but i feel like in this situation I'm the one being professional and mature it's ludicrous. If you order, you will get meat, so if you're worried about that, I can assure you but if you have a problem all the best they will try to blacklist your bank account!! But the question you have to ask yourself is if it's worth the abuse and hassle to get your produce with a 25% less premium price tag? Being a risk of potential foodborne illness and your financials being flagged for Fraud. It's hit and miss on temps and contents within the package as last time i ordered completely received the wrong joint again i contacted again giving them the benefit of doubt… ignored i should've learnt the first time! take the risk as you wish. The customer service is absurd. They seem to not have a real order book system, so even if you're a loyal customer who recommends Best Meats, your orders aren't logged. The admin should've known I was a previous customer. So yes Merry Christmas I'll happily accept your threats of being reported then blocked?!? I'll happily spend the start of 2026 building the case if that how they want to play.

Pathetic Carrier

Ordering process and website easy to follow. Problem starts with your excuse of a carrier DHL. Received order confirmation from BM then an email from DHL saying delivery will be 16th Dec. Come the 16th DHL NEVER attempted delivery and advised me that my parcel was dropped at an anonymous collection point miles away. Thanks to the prompt response from BM I located the collection point and retrieved my parcel later that day.
Having waited in and as delivery was NEVER attempted how about refunding my carriage costs BM ?

Non Delivery of £80 Full Sirloin Order!

My first experience with Best Meat after believing their selling posts/videos on facebook page has been a disaster!

I ordered a full UK sirloin 5-6kg for £74.99 plus £5.99 for next day DHL delivery, this was processed and dispatched by Best Meat for next day delivery to me by DHL last Wednesday 10th Dec, since then I have not received my order and had no response from either Best Meat or DHL after MULTIPLE attempts to contact them by facebook messenger, Whats App message and phone calls unanswered, emails etc!

The tracker number for DHL shows my order as received at delivery depot on Wed 10th Dec at 1351 hrs and will be delivered Thursday 11th but this status not moved since and they have not responded either!
Its clear that Best Meat have the offers but not the aftersales resource to make any communication if things go wrong, also DHL leave a lot to be desired!
Refund now requested through my CC provider.

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS

Super quick delivery, was really worried placing my order due to all of these reviews however I shouldn’t have been and therefore wished I’d ordered more! Went for the 5-6kg of sirloin £75, pack of back £10 and roast beef joint £15. Sirloin did not disappoint! Cut a good 26 steaks from this. My only disappointment was the beef joint its very small for £15, however given the steak quality I’m very happy and will definitely order again!

NOT liable, WRONG think again!!!

NON-delivery of my bulk fresh meat order, £65.99, due to the fact that dhl have lost it! It was picked up from best meat uk on the 26/11/2025, should have been delivered on the 27/11/2025??? dhl have admitted they have lost it on their own site!

dhl have also admitted that they do NOT have any refrigeration for perishable goods so BE WARNED!!!

I was actually contacted by dhl "6 DAYS LATER" offering that if they found it they would still deliver it!!! If they had of FOUND my order I would NOT of wanted it anyway due to the fact it would have WALKED of its own accord!!!

With regards to best meat uk, the OSTERICH affect has kicked in!!! All I can say is their NOTHING like the TV program!!!

NO answer to any of my contacts with them!!!

If you have a problem with this company your contract IS with them NOT the so called courier company. ANY PROBLEMS, best meat uk ARE liable NOT as they seem to think!!!

IF you made the payment by card, contact your bank and they will do a charge back so you WILL get your money back.

best meat uk SHOULD make sure that using outside contractors to deliver "fresh meat produce" the vehicles and depots have refrigeration, especially the depots just in case there is a problem. This tells me they are NOT bothered!!!

DO NOT throw OFF produce away, that's your money and they have won. Send it back to them and see how they like receiving BAD produce!!!

Ordered a 5-6kg sirloin steak and 3kg…

Ordered a 5-6kg sirloin steak and 3kg ribeye.

Sirloin arrived weighed 3.1kg messaged them and got tokd my scales are wrong. Replied that it was funny my ribeye weighed correctly said they would send out rest of the meat they never did. Avoid at all costs.

No customer support for non delivery! AVOID!!

There is no customer support for non delivery. I have messaged everyday since my order was not received and they have not got back to me once. My messages are no longer going through, so it looks like they have blocked me rather than try and deal with the issue. I have had to do a charge back through my bank because this company were happy to leave me over £100 out of pocket with not even a response to try and resolve.

The proof of delivery on the DHL website has a picture of nothing and no locations to even check.

DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

Ordered a sirloin £45, what a joke yes it was 3kg but the width of the joint was 38mm not a stake far to narrow we had to use two stakes to make it one, emailed them got no response, avoid.

This company offers exceptional quality and value. The meat is tender, succulent, and full of flavor, and the prices are a great bargain for the amount you receive. This is, without a doubt, the best meat I've had in a long time. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a £35 meat pack on the 4th…

I ordered a £35 meat pack on the 4th Nov, Was told it would be delivered Saturday 8th Nov. No message and no meat has turned up.
I've tried emailing and phoning the Bury number, to be told its nothing to do with them. No reply to any emails. I am an OAP and cant afford to lose that amount

Have to say that this is one of the worse for customer services ,
Ordered a meat pack and paid £5.99 for delivery (ordered Sunday for delivery Tuesday)
Forgot the pigs in blankets ,supposed to be gammon received beef
Delivery decided to come Wednesday between 2:45-3:45, turned up at 6:30
On inspection the ice bags had melted so the temperature of meat was rising ,

Posted on facebook comments but admin blocked review

2/10 I guess.

The chicken - it was so off when it arrived it practically walked out of the box, I did email in a complaint but no reply.

The sausages - what a weird texture and tasted weird. Stick with Aldi ones.

Bens banging burgers - i think you need to sack Ben mate, made my partner very ill

Sirloin steaks were alright I guess. Thin cuts tho.

Gammon was just the usual packaged one, probably from Macro.

The black pudding was the only redeeming feature.

I would avoid at all costs, half of it went in the bin

Firstly I have never had a problem with the Meat, always found to be of the best quality but the customer service is like nothing I have ever received in my life, with my package being left outside on the street for the world to see in the sun (yes Meat in the sun) and then taken by a chancer I questioned why this was done rather than contact me, the customer service agent was very rude and done everything in their power to call me a liar, took zero accountability, told me they did not care as they done what was required of them, I was really hoping for a solution or help but instead treated like a crook, I questioned the service and got no where, advised what my next steps would be and will never use again. honestly for me to write a review let alone a negative one has taken a lot as this is not my usual way of handling things.
