The most stunning and scenic cottage to have the privilege to stay in. Hosts go beyond! Enclosed and very safe for children and puppies/dogs. Words just aren’t enough am in AW the piece and quiet and to make a memory more a Stag so so close amazing! Much more than you’ll ever have in a property.

Easy site to navigate and clear prices

We stayed at the Chaple house in Prospect, Aspatria and it was perfect, we only came home today and im so sad. The house was immaculate and it had absolutely everything you needed. Shirley and Brian are brilliant owners had to call them out once and they are the nicest couple.... it was perfect, the decor was perfect for the home it was in. They told us the history of the 2 propertys and showed us around the attached property and Shirley even took my son plum picking. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Shirley and Brian for a perfect stay with my family. P.s sorry bout the washer xxxxx

Great cottages

We recently stayed at one of there listed cottages (Toad Hall in Suffolk). It was filthy in places (including the kitchen) and dilapidated. One of the bathrooms had a strong smell of drains and there were bodged fixtures and fittings throughout.
No wonder Big Cottages doesn't have customer reviews.

Just spent a perfect week at Dunmorris cottage, I would not hesitate for a second to go back very comfortable, we loved every moment.

A really high quality conversion in an idyllic peaceful location is a good start. Add to that the warmth of the welcome from the friendliest hosts, along with fresh flowers a sponge cake and milk in the fridge is most welcome after a journey from South Derbyshire. It is a beautifully decorated and very well appointed home from home set in a genuine farm with its own private garden. Peace and beauty is everywhere, we’ll be back!

Easy to book and good explanation, would book again.

We had our previous holiday cottage cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Managing to find another one through Sykes Cottages, very quickly, booking on line was very easy. I had an email confirmation straight away, so was really pleased. I had to make a quick call with a query, again very quick & efficient with the answers. A day later I had a further email with all the property instructions etc. Very efficient!

I was surprised with this apartment for my 30th birthday weekend away with my partner. I had never been to Pitlochry before and to say the place is beautiful is an understatement. This property is in the perfect location , just off the high street if you like. It’s spotless , has everything you need & the bubbles on arrival were a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend this apartment enough for a lovely get away.

I stayed here with my cousins and their partners, the house is just fantastic and ticked every box we wanted it to. Great location close to motorway and the Lakes. House was nice and warm and the rooms were all well laid out. Massive dining room table and plenty of seating in the two lounges. We spent a lot of time around the dining room table in the games room playing pool. Lots of tvs everywhere where but we didn’t use them. All the rooms are en-suite, lovely comfortable beds and bedding. Nice big outside table and garden to enjoy however due to the cooler weather we had we didn’t get the full use of them unfortunately. Nice open plan and airy dining/kitchen area with breakfast bar to use. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cutlery, glasses, plates, pots/pans /dishes etc. All in all a very nice and clean place to stay. Owner is also very friendly and very helpful. (We had to postpone this holiday twice due to lockdown 2020/21) Look forward to staying here again at some point.
