Well wow what can I say that hasn't already been said spotless comfortable beautiful everything thought of decor amazing views property amazing everything that you need and works kitchen well equipped furniture inside and out all so much thought gone into it. The grounds a joy to be in I felt like the world had stopped. Eleanor owner just makes you feel you belong there(I wished I did)it's been a very long time since I felt so at home and comfortable away from home I did not want to leave it, in fact I walked into the cottage and left it once in 4 days we will absolutely be returning thank you Eleanor and Verity for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful property with us lee&jo

We stayed at Otters Cove over the Easter weekend, and while the location and the lodge setting itself were absolutely spectacular, the experience was unfortunately let down by several issues.
On arrival, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the interior, as well as the general standard of the furnishings and facilities, which felt quite subpar. We attempted to raise this immediately via email, but received no response. Calling the contact number wasn’t any more successful, as it repeatedly went to voicemail.
We also experienced problems with the TV, which was very outdated and not functioning properly. Although this was eventually addressed, it took around 24 hours to resolve, which was frustrating during a short stay.
Things worsened following Storm David, when we were left without hot water and heating for the remainder of our stay. Again, we tried contacting the team, but the phone line continued to go to voicemail, leaving us without support during a fairly uncomfortable situation.
Since returning home, I’ve made several attempts to follow up via email, simply hoping for a response or even an acknowledgment of the issues we encountered, but have received nothing.
It’s such a shame, as this place really could be spectacular with just a few improvements. A thorough deep clean throughout would make a huge difference, along with replacing the tired and heavily worn cooking trays and utensils, as well as the cheap cutlery and glasses. Small additions like a mirror in the master bedroom would also be helpful, and some proper outdoor furniture would allow guests to fully enjoy the incredible views.
At a price point of over £400 per night for a two-bedroom accommodation, we expected a much higher standard across the board. As it stands, the property felt sparse and somewhat unloved, which is disappointing given its potential.
Given the lack of response both during and after our stay, I feel it’s only fair to share this experience to make others aware.

You failed to take the booking on the first attempt. You then failed to take the payment on the second. You passed the details of the booking over to cottages.com with the wrong information. You failed to supply the payment information. So my booking has now been cancelled. I will try again.

Haven’t even been in my holiday yet . I’ve paid and got a ref no but no e mail or anything to confirm or info . Spent 40 mins on hold trying to ring someone - no answer . Have e mailed and still no answer . Very poor customer service .
