Purchased an electric car from Big Car World a while ago and the sound system is faulty, alongside the charging cable they sold me with the car. I have been in touch with the team and they advised me that they would only fix the issue if I paid for a diagnosis at my local Tesla dealership. Later, Ray asked me to bring the car back to them for repairs. My partner drove the car almost two hours down to the dealership, only for them to refuse to look at the car, turning us away within 5 minutes of arriving. This dealership is a joke

Very friendly smooth services when buying a car

I should never have gone near Big Car World in Leicester. I chose a Kia Sportage on line and booked a visit to view the car 4 days later on 18 July. I was quite happy to wait longer but they accepted the date and time. On arrival the car was not available at the St Margaret's Way site as advertised. It was being serviced at Braunstone. It later transpired that the service consisted of engine oil and filter change. A 30-minute job.
The car finally arrived 90 minutes late. It was very dirty but I was assured it would be fully valeted before delivery. I took a test drive and the car seemed to be fine. Paid a deposit and bought an expensive 12-month warranty. It was agreed that the car would be ready on 23 July. I emphasised that it was a 90-minute round trip from my home to Big Car World.
On the 23 July again, the car was not ready. “It’s being valeted”. Was the excuse. After about 40 minutes my wife went for a walk around the site and found our salesman washing the car. After another 20 minutes the car was “ready”. There had been no attempt to clean the interior other than the passenger seat which was soaking wet where an unsuccessful attempt was made to remove a mark. There was mud on the carpet and old air fresheners strewn all over the car.
We eventually drove home but I was not entirely happy. I took the car to my local garage and asked them to check the car. They found an oil leak on the gearbox, a torn rubber boot on the suspension and a really dirty cabin filter. Big Car World agreed to fix this if I took the car to their Braunstone garage. This was arranged. Another 90 minutes return journey. Two faults were fixed but there were 2 different sizes to the gearbox seal. They measured the seal but could not replace it immediately. Why di8d they not order both seals, fit one and return the other.
On 27 August the car was finally fixed
