The size of the box makes big difference in the cost of shipping
It was simple to box it up, pay for a label online, and drop it off at the UPS store. Shipping was very reasonable (about $120 with insurance) but I did have a box that was just small enough that I didn't have to pay the surplus for a "big" box.

Easy to do and fill out form. Labels show up right away.
There should be an option to NOT have to pay for a pick-up day. MY bike shop has advise that UPS shows up every day and it is not needed on their end.

Charged me 21 more dollars after it was delivered
When I measured the box, I made sure I was 1 inch over on every measurement. I just got an email saying they’re charging me an extra $21 because someone said the box was bigger than what I entered. I did enter the measurements with that extra inch, so I guess if you’re going to use them, make sure you give yourself an extra 2 inches on every measurement so you don’t get charged later after it’s already been shipped to the buyer. I’d also recommend taking pictures of the box measurements before shipping it.

We’re sorry for the frustration caused by the additional $21 adjustment. We understand why that would be upsetting, especially when you intentionally added an extra inch to each measurement before placing the order.
UPS remeasures packages in transit, and if their recorded dimensions are larger than the dimensions provided when the shipment was booked, an adjustment can be applied based on those measurements. Unfortunately, even adding an extra inch doesn’t guarantee that the carrier’s measurements will match the measurements provided at booking.
We do recommend keeping photos of your box and its measurements before shipping, particularly when there may be a question about the dimensions. If you believe the carrier’s measurements were incorrect, we’re happy to review the adjustment with you and see whether it can be disputed with UPS.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and are sorry for the unexpected charge.
