Those guys are a joke, they asked for 10 things to verify your identity and decline it after I had to wait 4 days without any reason despite you have to send your face live multiple times, all your documents and informations. This website is a total phishing scam. I was sent an invoice that led me to BitPay but when I clicked to pay the invoice it asked me to login or create an account. I created an account but was then prompted to complete "verification" by submitting an ID and "selfie" photo. I closed the window and never looked back.
Do not under any circumstances submit any information to this website. A cryptocurrency website that supposedly exists to help preserve your privacy when shopping online that instead asks for personally identifying information would be like if you went to a doctor (someone who should theoretically suggest health-promoting practices) and he ordered you to eat nothing but fast food and inject a lot of heroin.

I had over $1300 CAD in my Bitpay account, logged in 5 days ago to find a balance of $0.00. I put in a support ticket and they were not helpful- if they were human they might as well have been bots. And not modern AI bots, but bots from 10 years ago that repeat a nonsensical script. Today, for no logical reason I logged into my account and the funds were magically restored. So all I can say is this company is super sketchy and not trustable. There is a reason why we put money in banks and regulate them.

They have refused to close my account.
Was trying to get information just for me to use them as an intermediary crypto payment service on APMEX.
I don't need to sign up for your bank to give you money.

This company is a complete nightmare. They are trying to drive their users crazy. Stay away and don't deal with anyone who works with them.

Absolutely terrible experience. Verifying ID was a nightmare that didnt have to be that bad, and worst of all, when I tried to buy something using Bitpay (because it was the only option the merchant offered) Bitpay's exchange rate was so far off of reality that it amounted to a $300 extra fee.

Horrible, I spent 2 minutes on the checkout page and It blocked me and said its been 15 minutes and the invoice expired.
(Then they said I underpayed when I payed the exact amount)

Lost 40 bucks money because of archived invoice and then I contact with their support and they decide to ban my account 40 may not be a lot for you but in my country take 10 day 8hour for working in companies don't get close to this guys stay away if have to give them a point I will give them -∞

Terrible waste of time. Glitches on displaying invoice so transaction can complete. Why are merchants using this? There has to be something better.

Payment was declined on their end and for them to refund me I would have to KYC lol
