We’ve had a really positive experience with Bloor Homes so far while purchasing our new home at Newport Vale. We’ve visited the development on several occasions, and every time we’ve been made to feel welcome. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and all our questions have been answered helpfully and patiently.

The whole process so far has been straightforward, enjoyable and stress-free, which has made such an exciting time even better. We’ve really appreciated the support and approachability of the team and would happily recommend Bloor Homes based on our experience to date.

We’re looking forward to moving into our new home and are grateful for all the help we’ve received so far!

A big thank you to Maisie, Kane and Kierah from The Meadows Cullompton for all their help and support during our house purchase. We had delays due to personal issues and changed our minds re plots, however, they were always patient and supportive throughout and went above and beyond to help us find our forever home.

The purchasing process with Bloor and the aftercare service has been first class. Buying a house is a scary and overwelming process. We have felt well looked after the whole way through. Lex and Toni from the sales team have been extremely helpful and friendly. We had pre-completion snagging done and the surveyor was very complementary of the standard of work and said he would have liked to work for Bloor! Since moving in James and the site team have been on hand and any snags found have been rectified very quickly with no fuss. Our house is beautiful and we couldn't be happier - thank you!

A very sincere thank you to Victoria and Eve at Aspen Brook, Widnes. You have made the buying process so easy and pleasurable. After two miserable failed attempts at buying older houses with one having a terrible survey and the other where the seller pulled out just before exchange, we were so fed up and disheartened. Buying a Bloor new build has been a great experience. It’s lifted our spirits and made us really look forward again. We are downsizing so never an easy task as you also have to think about parting with possessions and reimagining how you will live and use the space. Bloor have a wide range of homes suitable for all needs. We are buying their 3 bed semi the Byron and are thrilled. It gives us the perfect layout, that we can add an orangery on to in time off our kitchen, and at a price that where we can enjoy life, work less. and travel more in our motorhome. What’s not the love about a stress free, low maintenance, energy efficient home. We compared quite a few builders locally and Bloor was right up there with the best for their finish and build quality. Thank you Victoria and Eve. Your kindness and professionalism has not been lost on us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this site, or Bloor in general.

We spent so long searching for the perfect house for our growing family. And Julie and Damon truly went above and beyond to accomodate and support our search, with regular check ins and getting us viewings to properties that weren’t available in our area. The customer service at Bloor was truly unmatched by many other new build companies we visited! If you need help finding the perfect house for you, definitely speak to Julie or Damon at Bloor, Congleton they will put your needs and priorities at the forefront of your search and welcome you in with open arms.

We set out with the intention to buy a new home with Bloors because of their brilliant reputation. We were met by one of the loveliest sales advisors we could have asked for, Lex was so approachable and friendly from the off.
The time she spent getting information to us and showing us around, on multiple occasions might I add, made our experience second to none.
We eventually decided against buying a new house but our experience with Bloors and more importantly Lex, was brilliant and would highly recommend going to see her in you’re in the market for a new build.

Me and my partner have recently bought our first home at bloor homes Wharncliffe Park. The process from start to now nearly finishing has been so positive and not half as stressful as we thought it would be. Both Jane’s at the development have been excellent at communicating with us every week with updates and are both very good at answering the many questions we have had. I have and will be recommending this development to family and friends :)

WHARNCLIFFE PARK.
We haven't yet completed the move in to the new house. But so far the services from the sales team (two Jane's) has been brilliant and Informative.

Rushed builds, loads of mistakes and problems covered up. From our experience, I’d be very wary of what’s going on behind the walls.

The taped and jointed corners have been done badly, leaving them peeling away and looking crinkled.

We’ve also had drainage problems. The downstairs office and toilet stink when the drains back up from the houses behind us.

The shared drive is sinking. They replaced the affected area with block paving instead of tarmac, and the dip has got worse. It’s dangerous. How do Bloor Homes respond? Ignore you or pass you on to someone else who then ignores you.

Then there’s the downstairs marble floor, which cost us a massive £9,000. Moisture appears to be coming through from underneath, and the tiles have curled, loosened and, in some places, come away completely. They didn’t seem bothered at all.

Our house cost nearly £400,000. After the problems we’ve had and the way they’ve been handled, I’d never buy a Bloor home again.

Every person to trip up that driveway I’ll ask to write a bad review until they take notice

No commumication whatsoever, we have been left with a huge bump around drains in driveway, no reply to emails since July and even CEO doesnt reply to emails!!!!
Social media team picked up on one of my messages and said would escalate still waiting 2 weeks later, ridiculous!!

We are very pleased with our new home at Harlestone Park, Northampton and have found the whole process from reservation to completion a really good and positive experience. We have been very happy with the service and information provided by your sales and site staff and would definitely recommend Bloor Homes to anyone.

Jane is very knowledgeable-always available and approachable and nothing is ever too much trouble

My purchase is still in progress so my experience has primarily been with the sales team at Wharncliffe Park. From the outset I have have found them truly friendly and supportive and they have made the whole experience very clear and accurate and gone out of their way to help and remain in contact .

The Sales Team at Hazelton Meadow, were informative, kind and went above and beyond. We popped in without a appointment and they took the time and care to listen to what we wanted and needed. We left feeling very informed and with a great first taste of Bloor Homes. We would definitely recommend

The sales office team from the moment we reserved the plot up until the present day of us being moved in have been nothing short of amazing. They go above and beyond to help out which is super valuable to young first time buyers such as ourselves. We absolutely battered these poor people with questions and still do to this day and they never fail to help us out and answer what we’re looking for. They made the experience magical.

Sammi- Sammi is a ray of sunshine that fills your heart with warmth and excitement when going through the process of buying your home. Sammi takes more than pride in what she does, she shares your excitement with you, from customising your home, to the lead up to your first site visit all the way up to you getting the keys. You can really tell she loves what she does and that makes the experience magical.

Elly - Is an encyclopaedia of bloor homes knowledge. I know this because like sammi she too was battered with questions by myself and never failed to find me the answer I was looking for. Elly is super caring and friendly and is exactly the person want to be met with when entering a bloor sales office. Her and sammi combined are a dynamic duo. It’s evident to me bloor stationed their best sales representatives to Hazelton Meadows.

Jamie- This man has all his ducks in order, he seems like he’s got everything figured out. Might ask him what the meaning of life is. The demo he gave us was super in-depth and explained it in terms my simple brain can understand. Jamie is an incredible demonstration of what a site team lead should be. Friendly, should have gone into stand up with the jokes he cracks, quality hand shake and a down to business type of guy.

Kev- exact same traits as Jamie, super friendly very polite and another great example of what you'd want from your site team on your new estate. Kev in my 1st courtesy visit was super tentative to my questions I had and took great care in checking everything in the house was in perfect working order.

Apologies if i missed anyone in this review as there’s been so many helpful names and faces in my process of buying my first home needless to say you’re all amazing and you made buying a house ( which everyone makes out to be super stressful) the most easiest and painless thing going.

I moved into my new Bloor home at The Arches in Ledbury in June 2026 and have been thrilled with my experience throughout the entire process. From reserving the plot with Louise in the sales team, to my home demo day and courtesy check-ins with the site manager Steve, the team here have made being a first time buyer uncomplicated and enjoyable. Any problems, any questions, the site team have been responsive and approachable throughout.
