I already have a Bluefin SUP (bought through Amazon) that I'm pretty pleased with so thought I'd go direct to the company as I wanted to get a second one for my wife for a trip we are taking. I checked with the online chat fellow that everything in the picture at the specfied link was included and, reassured that it was, placed the order. The package was despatched promptly but when it arrived it was clearly completely the wrong thing. The board had the same name but apart from that it was the wrong colour, included none of the items included in the picture (the bag, pump, kick strap, fins, paddle, all the bits that make a board useable in fact were missing). It did include a kayak conversion seat (which wasn't in the picture) but this actually was doubly annoying as I'd added a seat to the order assuming there wasn't one so now had two of those. What was most egregious however was that this board was also clearly quite well used. Did they send something someone had sent in for repair by mistake? A mix up with shipping labels on the boxes? Did someone else have my wife's nice new board? I got online with the chat service again and they had no explanation (?) but they did send me a return link to a page that said none of the items were eligible for a return. Getting back on the chat, they then activated the return manually and I was able to get returns QR codes and drop the two boxes off at the shop (this bit at least was efficient and easy thank goodness). And with my return marked as requiring a replacement product to be sent asap I assumed a replacement would be winging it's way to me with the next post. Alas the customer service rep was apologetic but insistent that a replacement couldn't be sent until the return was received. OK, annoying given this is your mistake, but I suppose I understand. But then, having received the returns, Bluefin did nothing with it for 4 days until I followed up again where I was advised that returns check in can take 14 days to process. But what? Why? Because it says so on their website.
And just to round things off they now also can't despatch a replacement today (Friday), earliest might be Monday but there's still no news on where my actual board has got to so any replacement board wouldn't arrive in time for the trip departing on the Wednesday. So it's now 10 days since I made the order, 5 days before I depart on my trip and I have no paddle board and Bluefin still have all my cash pending a refund. A frustrating failure at everystage means that at the end of this process what seems to have happened is I have lent Bluefin many hundreds of pounds for a couple of weeks, failed to acquire a paddle board for an upcoming paddle board trip and some poor DPD driver has humped a heavy box from the Bluefin warehouse to Wales and back. Not the adventure I was lead to believe I was embarking upon...

Ich habe von der Firma angeblich ein Carbon Paddel erworben, ist gleich beim ersten mal benutzen kaputt gegangen.
Ich stritt mich über ein halbes Jahr, keine Garantie kein entgegenkommen.
Miserabeler Service wochenlang keine Antwort.
Meine Empfehlung ganz klar, Finger weg. Keine ansreichende Qualität.

My order never turned up, tracking didn’t move for weeks, and Bluefin gave nothing but vague, copy-and-paste replies. No delivery, no refund, no follow-up. I’ve now had to open a claim with my credit card company to get my money back. Appalling service from a company that claims to be reputable. Avoid.

Schon nach der ersten Benutzung begann die Naht auf zu gehen. Bei Reklamation wurde mir als erstes Kleber zum selbst reparieren angeboten. Da noch kein halbes Jahr alt bekam ich einen Umtausch angeboten, Rücksendeschein kam aber Versicherung musste ich tragen. Dann bekam ich auf einmal eine Gutschrift und kein neues SUP. Antwort nicht Lieferbar. Jetzt wo sie wieder Lieferbar sind soll ich 200€ mehr bezahlen da es jetzt eine Bessere Qualität hat.

Received the wrong board ( 70£ cheaper than what I paid) and it had clearly been used. It was scuffed, covered in stains and had boot prints on it. I was offered a £20 refund to keep it after some nonsense about parts travelling long distances. After informing them that it was the wrong board and secondhand it was exchanged for the correct model and fortunately this one was new.. but when unpacking and checking it over I found that there were no fins in the box. I then inflated fully with the pump provided to ensure it was ok and found that the pressure guage on the pump didn't work at all

Ordered a paddle board, paid for it, they took the money then told it was not in stock! Bluefin customer services offered me a lower grade board for the same cost! In addition Bluefin didn’t tell me the board they offered was a lower model! Lucky I spotted it! I asked them to supply the same grade board in the bigger size and they would not…avoid. The reply below notes that Bluefin have been in touch re suitable alternatives this is not the case Blue fin have offered alternatives that ‘they’ wanted to offer I have explained this to the customer service manager and I would encourage the Blue fin senior management team to read through the entire chain of emails.

Wir haben eine elektrische Pumpe für unser SUP Borad gekauft. Die Pumpe ist kompletter Schrott und bringt keine Leistung. Leider nimmt das Unternehmen die Pumpe nicht zurück, obwohl sie nur einmal benutzt wurde, um die power zu testen. Sehr enttäuschend!

Der Kontakt ist schnell und freundlich. Enttäuschend ist der Umgang jedoch mit Qualitätsmängeln. Mein SUP zeigt nach nur 1,5 Jahren bei seltener Nutzung übermäßige Verfallserscheinungen. Angeklebte Ösen fallen ab, Trittfläche löst sich ab, und der Paddelbedruck ist nicht Hitzestabil, im ersten Hochsommer ist die Farbe in der Sonne klebrig geworden. Die Reperatur wird in meinen Fällen aus ökologischen Gründen auf den Kunden übertagen, da der Rücktransport zu umständlich sei. Optisch Ansprechende Produkte mit mangelhafter Qualität und sehr unvorteilhafter Regulierung für deutsche Kunden. Nach 6 Monaten muss der Kunde plötzlich die Versandkosten für die Reparatur zahlen was oft zu einem Wirtschaftlichen Totalschaden führt. SCHADE!

From personal experience – I ordered a SUP board over the weekend, just before their promotion (where you get a free gift with the purchase) was officially launched. After reaching out separately, they kindly added the gift to my order. Their response was very quick.

Warnung vor unterirdischem Service bei Bluefin SUP!
Ich habe mich lange damit beschäftigt, welches SUP ich bestellen will und was meine persönlichen Anforderungen an das SUP sind. Schließlich habe ich ein SUP der Firma Bluefin gefunden, das meine Anforderungen grundsätzlich erfüllte.
Leider war das SUP defekt. An der Verklebung in der Mitte des SUP trat Luft aus, was grundsätzlich mal passieren kann. Der Umtausch war extrem schleppend und es hat Wochen gedauert, bis die Abwicklung abgeschlossen war (Produktfehler wurde von Bluefin übrigens anerkannt, daran kann es nicht gelegen haben, es ging um die rein organisatorische Abwicklung).
Nachdem nun der Sommer, in dem ich mein SUP kaum benutzen konnte, fast vorbei ist, kam die Ersatzlieferung an. Dachte ich. Bluefin hat ohne vorherige Rücksprache eine "aktuellere" Version des SUP geliefert. Nur leider wurde dieses deutlich verändert (sprich: Qualität und Lieferumfang verschlechtert).
Ich hatte mich bewusst für ein SUP mit 1+2 Finnen entschieden, um flexibel zu sein. Zudem hat mich das Klicksystem der Finnen überzeugt. Bekommen habe ich nun ein SUP mit 1 Finne und einen Schraubsystem. Zudem hatte ich mich bewusst gegen ein Alu-Paddel entschieden, in der neuen Version war allerdings ein Alu-Paddel enthalten.
Ich habe hierauf den Bluefin-Support kontaktiert. Dort wollte man mir erklären, dass das neue SUP viel besser sei. Das ist mir aber egal, ich hatte mich bewusst für die vorherige Konstruktion entschieden, weil das MEINEN Anforderungen entsprach und dafür habe ich auch den Preis bezahlt. Andernfalls hätte ich schon von vornherein ein anderes SUP bestellt.
Als ich dem Service das klar gemacht hatte, kamen nur abwimmelnde, schmallippige Antworten.
Fazit: ich habe für ein SUP bezahlt, das meinen Anforderungen entsprochen hat und habe etwas anderes bekommen, musste aber den ursprünglichen Preis bezahlen. Hier war kein Entgegenkommen seitens Bluefin zu erkennen.
Alles in allem viel Ärger um nichts und ein verschwendeter SUP-Sommer zum knackigen Preis.
Mein persönlicher Tipp: Finger weg!
Edit: kürzeste Zeit nach meiner Bewertung hat Bluefin hier auch geantwortet. Die Antwort zeigt sicherlich nochmal deutlich mit welchem Zynismus das Unternehmen mit seinen Kunden umgeht. Eine persönliche Nachricht mit einem Kompromissvorschlag habe ich übrigens nicht bekommen.

Mein Bluefin SUP-Board ist beim Aufpumpen geplatzt. Das Board ist 4 Jahre alt hab es von einen Freund bekommen der hat es 3 mal verwendet!
Obwohl eine gültige Rechnung vorliegt und mit 5 Jahren Garantie geworben wird, weigert sich der Hersteller, das Board zu ersetzen. !
Stattdessen versucht man sich damit herauszureden. Bedingungen die Garantie gilt nur für den Erstkäufer !
Anstatt den Schaden zu beheben, wird sogar mit Konsequenzen gedroht, falls negative Bewertungen erscheinen. Sehr enttäuschend – weder Board noch Kundenservice empfehlenswert.
