Boohoo is likely going under, stay away!

Like other people, I’ve recently been scammed by Boohoo, they took my money, but never confirmed the order and it’s not even showing in my Boohoo account. No response from customer service so now I’m having to lodge a PayPal dispute. This company is showing all the signs of a company about to go under, stay away!

DO NOT ORDER! SCAM

Never even recieved an order confirmation, but they sure did take my money. After waiting a week and a half I attempted to reach out to the company via every channel they had. Text message I recieved a generic response stating I would get a real response at some “delayed” point. I never got a response there. Also emailed and got nothing. Sent message over their Facebook and was talking to an ai. I don’t know what happened to the company as I used to buy from it a lot pre 2020. Lucky I used PayPal so was able to get full refund

Don't even want to give them a 1 star absolutely awful customer service along with their chosen courier evri! Twice my parcel had been sent on next day delivery, 1st delivery got misplaced so finally after 2 weeks they agreed to resend, now miraculously the 2nd parcel hasn't been delivered 2 delivery slots given & then a oh sorry we can't deliver your parcel! Contacted both Boohoo & Evri non of which have responded after saying they would within 24hrs. Can't speak to a real person at either company & nothing is being done about the miraculous non delivery a 2nd time! Boohoo are they saying it was delivered & evri have clearly confirmed it hasn't. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer service horrible and lazy

Customer service horrible and lazy , bunch of lazy people. Asked info for an item on all possible contact information haven’t received anything at all , they just say we will send you email within 48 hours but two weeks after still nothing they kind of busy😂 Website doesn’t provide model height or length of the dress/ skirt hardly anything. Not more disappointed with shop and customer service and honesty worst customer service eveeeeerrrrr

What is going on with this Company!!
Ordered online and paid through PayPal, almost a week ago. No confirmation email, nothing to say anything about where my order is!! AI bot has no record of the order and yet they have taken the money from PayPal.
I have emailed and messaged no response. I AM FURIOUS.

Awful company

Awful company . Returned items and cannot get a refund. They ignore all correspondence and text replies are AI generated.
Apparently they owe millions to their suppliers so little hope of a refund without asking bank to step in

CONSUMERS STAY AWAY FROM BOOHOO!

I didn’t want to give 1 star, minus stars would be better. Absolute awful company to deal with. Waiting for a refund from July 2025. They have stopped responded to my emails, I have written to the CEO who has not as yet responded either. The amount of consumers waiting for refunds is absolutely ridiculous. Why is this company allowed to get away with what they are doing. Word of WARNING ‼️ Stay away from BooHoo and take your customer elsewhere.

Your items won’t arrive. And when they don’t, no one will help you. You speak to an AI bot and run around in circles. Your money is gone and they don’t care.
I get why they’ve called themselves ‘Boohoo’ now. Because that’s what you’ll be saying if you buy from them!

Little update

Little update, they not refund me even in time frame of 29 days!!! Yes they need 29 days for refund but I still don't have even email confirmation from them to said hey we have your items with us for 3 weeks and no money back. Please avoid this cheap Chinese shop and terrible customer service (AI service)

Boohoo stealing customers money warning

Do not buy from boohoo. You can read on every social media platform they are deliberately scamming all customers to steal money. Multiple ordered with them through klarna, items returned few days after receiving, they refund money to gift card rather than original payment so they don’t have to refund money. I have screen recorded myself doing returns with them now to show I have selected original payment menthod and. Image added additional comment in reason for returning on every single item saying “DO NOT RETURN TO GIFT CARD - return to original payment method” and they still do it. It’s theft. I have contacted klarna also and they have advised me not to pay the balance and they will continue raising dispute with boohoo until boohoo pay. It’s happening to everyone now so they can steal everyone’s money. They will be closed down soon I am sure. Don’t shop with them unless you’re 100% sure you won’t want to refund anything or want money back. A shame a company that used to be reputable has become so disgusting.

Absolutely appalling quality and…

Absolutely appalling quality and service. Jacket arrived dirty and missing an extra layer insert. Customer service took 3 weeks to reply and provide a return label. It took another 6 weeks for boohoo to process the return after i had to continually email them. Now they have only partially refunded without the postage. Im having to chase the money. The whole experience is a debacle and ill never ever buy from Boohoo again. Buyer beware…,

After searching for the right colour

After searching for the right colour, I bought a pair of shoes for my wedding, I waited and waited and finally they arrived. Excited to see them I ripped into the package only to find the heels had been shipped not in a box but just in a bag and when I opened the bag there was a very deep puncture in the heel of the left shoe, there were scuff marks on the straps and a black mark on the inner sole. I immediately contacted customer service via message service and then email. The bot told me I could return them but I would have to pay a $15 return fee!!. Then I received an email from a customer service agent , a woman named Stacie who offered me a 50% refund, however after I accepted it I was completely ghosted!!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have had the misfortune to have to deal with! Do yourself a favour and keep scrolling if you come across Boohoo otherwise you will be the one boohooing!!!

Don't buy from boohoo

Don't buy from boohoo. I ordered some sandals in May they were too big so I returned them. I had an email to say they had received them then a week later to say a refund was issued but 4 weeks later I still haven't received the money back ! I have emailed them( All been ignored) tried chatbot and WhatsApp but no luck. They are saying because now a month has passed they can't do anything even though they have admitted they received them back on 11th of June. This must be fraud taking the returns and not giving the money back. I am going to do a chargeback with the bank next I don't see how they can get away with this practice.

The tops looked amazing online and sounded like a wonderful deal, so I was eager to try it. It was a little disappointing that the delivery took longer than anticipated and upon unboxing the material seemed really flimsy and the fit was completely off

Any once renewed confidence gone …

Having renewed confidence in Boohoo after ordering over the past few years i have suddenly returned back to my earlier feelings!
Quality of recent items has been shoddy and Customer service terrible!
Started via texting and received initial messages then nothing.
Sadly will no longer be ordering from them at all .. even through Debenhams who now also are useless at Customer Service!
Why are these companies resorting to only texting, or Whatsapp, or Messenger for Customer 'Care' .. no wonder companies are going under.

Scammers

After not receiving any money back from my refund after 4 weeks I sent an email, finally got a reply stating my refund had failed…2 days later money back in my bank, but they haven’t refunded me the money for a bikini that was missing the top half when I received it??? The absolute cheek of it, I’ve sent evidence, messages on multiple platform and get no response now. I’m lucky I’ve had a partial refund! Sick of these people scamming us and taking our hard earned money!!! AVOID

What a scam of a company

What a scam of a company! I purchased something and had to return it because it wasn't wait they said it was. Not only did I have to pay to return it -back in April- they won't refund my money. I have emailed several times with no response. I messaged them over and over and finally got a response a month later saying "it's now been over a month and we won't help". Now getting scam friend requests from fake customer service officers and by reading all the comments on their Facebook page they are doing this to hundreds of people. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
