Great sales support. Shopping cart forced shipping method on me, but people at sales (or at shipping ) were helpful at sorting situation. Shipping took less than forecasted.

Product selection assistance...great advice
I appreciated the input and guidance in assisting with choosing the right HRV and controller for my home. As I would be installing myself; additional input "purchase the ducting locally to save in shipping costs" was well received to save some $.
The only constructive criticism I can offer... wiring for the controller could be beneficial to offer when purchasing... especially the most expensive model.
Although I've not had the opportunity to utilize the unit (Venmar Air Exchanger A160H65RT | AVS N-Series with Virtuo Advanced controller) much as I like to leave the windows open in summer; I am confident that it will work well throughout the colder months experienced in North Eastern Ontario. Particularly, as I heat with wood and my newly constructed home is very 'tight'.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your review! We are glad to have been able to support, whether purchasing everything through ourselves or otherwise. We always try to remain realistic with our customers, even if that means them purchasing elsewhere if it makes financial, logistical, or sense for another reason.
Venmar manuals typically contain all the required electrical wiring information for your electrician to follow during installation; if you found that the documentation was not there or is incomplete, please feel free to write us an email with the exact details you found missing and we would be glad to share that information back to Venmar for their review and future inclusion.
We are confident that this HRV will keep your IAQ at a comfortable level this winter, even when using your wood heating system!
We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

In the meantime, would you be willing to update your review with a focus on the services and products provided by ourselves, BPH Sales, and not Canada Post (who yes, we recognize often suffers delays for various reasons)?

Hi John,
Thanks for the positive review! Glad to hear our services were on part with your expectations.
We have suffered the unfavourable exchange rate from USD to CAD many times, and are proud that we are able to service Canadians across the country in our own currency and without dealing with customs and import challenges.
Regards,
The BPH Sales Team

BPH Sales
Higher markup and good Cx service
As a online retailer they are automated and well organized and responsive.
However their markup is significantly higher.
They refuse to price match.
The saving of being a online retailer are not shared by customers and infact u pay more for the hvac equipment. I spent 5500 plus hst and found it was 600 more than competitive price elsewhere.
Good customer service, but unreasonable pricing

Hi Imran,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback for our team! We are always doing our best to provide the lowest possible prices for our customers, but sometimes we just can't match the prices that other firms may be able to provide. We always welcome you to discuss with us, but we can never provide guarantees that we can or will price match.
We thank you again for your recent purchase and working with us. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.
Best regards,

Hi Matt,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback.
However, we are a little confused by your feedback - shipping prices are ALWAYS displayed BEFORE your order is placed, just after you enter your address for the shipping costs to be calculated and displayed for you. If you encountered a different process, please reach out to our team directly and we will immediately investigate.
We are disappointed to hear that our total price for you is not competitive; however, please bear in mind that shipping prices for customers in the United States will cost more than to our domestic Canadian-based customers, as products need to pass border and custom controls.
Thank you again for your feedback; if you have any additional feedback for us, please don't hesitate to contact us by phone or email. We are always looking to improve the customer experience and transparency across our customers entire experience.
Best regards,
The BPH Sales Team
