What a crane operator and delivery genius
Ordering the materials was really easy. The expert at the counter helped me through deciding what was best for my projects and giving me options and giving me the best deals. Great so far. All no hassle.
But the genius star award has to go to Darren who with precision skills managed to get his wagon reversed up my drive. Then using the crane and remote, with delicate manipulation of the controls landed three bags of scalpings and slate precisely where I needed it. This was after helping me move the four sleepers and 10 bags of postcrete.
This is a man who clearly has a lot of technical skill and fine judgement.
Darren was safety first. Customer next. So to me that was really customer first.
What a great asset to have at the firm. Darren was professional friendly and more than got the job done. Five stars my friend and all round for a really easy experience and no dramas.

My Order 74758 has been a complete disaster.
I ordered some beading on 1st June. a few days later I was unable to access my account online to check the status of my order. I am certain my password was correct, but I applied on three separate occasions to be link the link for a new password, but nothing arrived, I checked my junk account. Never mind, my order stated that I would receive a call from the branch, that never happened. After two weeks I calleed into the branch. I was told my order was there, but the gentleman in the wood department could not find it, after looking for 15 minutes. He took my telephone number number and said that he would ring me when he had found it, I am still waiting. I think I am entitled to a refund, it may only be £9.04 but this is a disgrace.

What does "in stock" mean?
The door I wanted was listed as out-of-stock so I waited until the listing changed. When it was finally available, I ordered it, expecting the usual quick and efficient response. Nothing happened. I rang the branch and it became clear that it was not, actually, in stock and the order had been passed to a supplier. They eventually delivered the door, which is fine. In future can "in stock" actually be correct?

On line stock numbers not to be trusted
Ordered and paid for two bags of Mortar online from Seaton, only to get there to be told that they didn't have any as two bags had been damaged and the system could not be corrected. The yard men recommended that I ignore the system numbers unless they were showing more than twenty of anything...
So ended up with two bags of sand and one of cement that I could have got from my local Bradfords in Sidmouth.

Excellent service.
Ordered 2 lengths decking online. Seaton branch called me to say that the only ones left were a bit rough. Offered to order from Sidmouth branch if I didn't want to check them first. Went to check and they were fine for my needs so they gave me a good discount.
