Purchased an expensive item online which I ended up having to return as an unwanted gift. Good comms from the seller on the returns process and they would respond quickly by email on any queries I had. Would have given 5 stars if I could have been refunded with 3-5 working days. Ended up taking 10 working days but did obtain the full refund without too much hassle.

2nd purchase from Brown's, really nice friendly family people, nothing too much, the delivery was when they advised and it came beautifully wrapped. Well done Brown's, we will be back soon

Excellent customer service, very helpful and no pressure to buy. The personal note inside from the company was a lovely touch.

So I had 2 snapped silver chains that needed one point of silver welding near the clasp, so I took it to Brown's.
When I asked at the shop how much will it cost, they explained I will have to wait till it's repaired and i will receive text with the cost.
And i did : it was £20 each !!! £40 in total !!! For that money I could've bought another 4 new silver chains from Old English Jewellers on ebay!
Customer service outrageous, arrogant manager, online customer service apathetic, as they directed me back to same arrogant manager who was going in circles about me not asking for estimate at the time of leaving items for repair, but I did ask for the price, but she never provided not even approx amount, and never mentioned I could ask for estimate, then she offered £10 refund as a good will gesture!!! you had to hear that in person to understand why I refused, someone throwing a bone to homeless dog adds more sympathy to it !
I guess that was my last visit to Browns, despite being a customer since 2001, when I bought my first bracelet, which I still have, but it's snapped and I won't be repairing it at Browns.
