I am extremely disappointed with product's durability.

I am extremely disappointed with Brumate's product quality and customer service.

My thermal flask completely lost its ability to maintain hot and cold temperatures after only 1 year and 3 months of normal use. The flask has never been dropped, mishandled, or subjected to any physical damage. The exterior is still in excellent condition with no dents or visible defects.

I contacted Brumate customer support expecting them to investigate the issue or offer a reasonable solution. Instead, I received what appeared to be a generic standard response with no real effort to address the problem or stand behind their product.

For a premium-priced insulated flask, I expected it to last much longer than 15 months. The failure of the insulation without any misuse raises serious concerns about the product's durability and quality control.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Brumate products. A thermal flask that fails after such a short period and a customer service team that provides only template replies do not justify the premium branding.

Had bought a new replacement and a week later it breaks. Never used hard. Regular operation. Will not buy again until if/they make a solid metal version

Horrible customer service and poor quality

I’ve bought two brumates, and both broke in the same spot - under the lid where the straw connects. Contacted customer service and was told it’s human error…which is odd b/c it’s the same break in the same spot. Poor quality and lazy customer service.

STAY AWAY from BruMate!!!!! I shop online daily, this company is the absolute WORST I’ve ever dealt with. Never received my purchase, emailed countless times (only way to reach them), received the run around from several departments. I clearly stated I want to be funded asap, the exact way they charged my CC. No refund, despite finally being told a refund was issued! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!!!!!!

Broke the lid on second use

Broke the lid on second use. The lid has a lock which isn’t obvious and not clearly described in the manual which only mentions the magnet lock so assuming it opened via magnet. After a gym session tried to open the lid but snapped it. Emailed the company twice and no response, they clearly don’t care about their customers or their product. They have replacement lids for $15, perhaps this is because many other people often break the lid forcing them to buy a new one, so a nice money spinner for the company. I don’t find the mixer device that effective, the traditional metal ball is better. The lid also is a bit annoying if you wear a hat as gets in the way and it’s difficult to clean with nookes and crannies in the lid. Would be nice if they put metric measurements too, but they don’t seem to care about non-US countries. I wish i didn’t purchase this shaker and am using a better and much cheaper one now.

Worst company!!!!!! do not buy a cup they do not follow with through with their warranty policy they're awful they will treat you like crap do not order from them!!!!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life.

Lifetime warranty is a joke

My cup is only about 4 months old & the coating is peeling a lot. I contacted Brumate by email with a picture & they state that their "lifetime" warranty is only for 60 days & offer a $10 coupon which is ridiculous. I own 5 cups & this is my last.

I have two faulty screw on Trio lids..

I have two faulty screw on Trio lids... I went to the website and recently ordered 2 replacemtne trio lids.. but hte company has changed the design of the trio... so the lids don't work. I CANNOT GET AHOLD OF A PERSON.. I have emailed customer service.. I have messaged on facebook... I CANNOT GET A RESPONSE... so now I have two lids that I can't use, and two Trios that I can't use because I can't get the correct lids. CUSTOMER SERVICE MY ASS.

Return Policy works!!!!

May 2026 - I finally got help from Cust Srv on their return procedures on a cup I ordered in April. They did give me suggestions on how to hopefully resolve my lid problem for the Müv 25oz | Eclipse cup but nothing worked. They also helped me with my return of the Muv cup. Happily, I was given my refund within 3 days. Very Satisfied with their return policy!
Since I was enjoying my Era Flip 40oz cup, I ordered a smaller Era Flip to replace the Muv cup.
Thanks again to your Customer Service Dept for their help.

Bottle Will Break

Your bottle will break after a year. Although this company has an express warranty for their goods, they will require you to send numerous photos and answer numerous emails before they send you a partial replacement that will not fix the issue. They refuse to replace the large components when they break. Also, after everything, my partial replacement was lost in the mail and Brumate refuses to help any further.

Brumate Refuses to Stand Behind Quality

Brumate sold a collaboration with Madi Nelson and sold certain prints exclusively at Target stores. Mine arrived with a chip/paint defect under glazed seal overlay. So it was clearly made and shipped with the defect t, not caused during shipping. Bru.ate refused to stand behind the quality and integrity of their product because it was bought at Target and not directly from them. This print I had to buy at retailer and could not buy from Brumate directly. Shame on a co.oany thay refused to stand behind d the products they made. Would never buy again.

Aside from the spill proof lid this 35…

Aside from the spill proof lid this 35 oz MUV Coffee Mug I purchased is complete garbage. I'm an avid coffee drinker and I like my coffee hot. This mug doesn't have a snowballs chance of keeping it that way.

I filled the mug. Waited about 15 minutes then took a sip of the coffee. Still hot. So with my everyday trusty 20 oz cheap mug also filled I started my testing of the Brumate 35 oz mug.

45 minutes later I take another sip of the coffee from the Brumate and notice that even with an airtight lid the liquid (coffee) had cooled. So, just an hour into testing the claims of the company that it will keep liquids HOT for 6 hours and COLD for 24+ was quickly fading.

So, thirty minutes later I checked it again. The liquid was warm. Not a very good start for a mug that the company clearly states will stay hot for 6 Hours when there is no way this liquid was going to be anywhere close to hot even in 4 hours let alone 6.

I decided to go back home and start over. I figured I'd help it out before pouring coffee into it. So, I brought some water to a slight boil then poured it into the mug. I then locked the airtight lid and left it for 30 minutes.

At the 30 minute mark I opened the lid, which was actually very warm to the touch telling me this could be a good sign. I emptied the mug of the water and poured in some very hot coffee and closed the airtight lid. I performed this process with the thought that the hot water would heat up the inside for the coffee.

This time around I will check the status of the coffee, in the mug, every hour.

Hour 1. The first couple (sometimes 3 to 4 sips when I say couple) of sips of coffee are warm but the next couple of sips are hot. I closed the airtight lid and waited another hour.

Hour 2. The first couple of sips were cool then the next couple were warm with the next few sips kind of hot. I could easy tell that the temperature was dropping.

Hour 3. Cold coffee first couple of sips the rest of it was cool to slightly warm. I knew at this point that the preheating of the mug with hot water didn't work and that by hour 4 this coffee was going to be cold.

After taxes my $50 (after taxes) 35 oz Dark Aura Brumate Mug could not do what the Brumate company claims it can do. I also purchased the 25 oz Primrose for a friend who stated that hers didn't perform well at all.

I asked her how long the liquid stayed hot and she said she did not know as she used hers for iced tea and that it wouldn't stay cold all day.

So, I tested the cold claim as well. I like unsweetened grapefruit juice. I placed the mug in my refrigerator and the grapefruit juice in the freezer. When the grapefruit juice started to get that slightly frozen slushy look, I poured it into my 35 oz Brumate mug.

I'll keep this short but the grapefruit juice was nowhere close to cold or even cool 5 hours later.

So, to sum this up, it cost me almost a $100 for two mugs that can't even come close to the claims the company says they can.

An $8 - 20 oz travel mug from Walmart literally keeps my coffee hotter longer. Yeah, it's not spill proof but ask yourself this, how often do you spill your drinks anyway?

Do yourself a huge favor and read up on and check out multiple revies on a product before making a purchase.

As for Brumate I can say that I will never purchase another product from them.

Buy the insurance

I order alot of stuff online. I ordered the wrong Brumate. Contacted them, they sent a return label. They offered insurance coverage. I did not take the insurance. But low & behold did I need it because the package was never delivered back to Brumate. So I was put $40 no Brumate. So if you are going to do business with them, take the insurance.

Rusting Tops in a drinking bottle..

I own three BrüMate bottles and two of them have developed rust where the lid snaps into the top. The third one is starting to rust in the same spot now. These are used as normal drinking bottles and get washed several times a week, so this should not be happening at all.

What bothers me is that this is not just one bad bottle. All three are doing the same thing in the same location, which makes it seem like a problem with the material or coating they use. This is a drinking container and it should not be rusting anywhere near the lid.

I contacted customer service and was told the warranty only covers 60 days and my only option was to buy a discounted replacement. I am not going to pay again for another bottle if the ones I already have are rusting from normal use.

For the price, I expected much better quality. Very frustrating experience and not what I expected from this brand.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. The shipping process is extremely slow and there is very poor communication with customers. Many people have already complained about the same issue, and unfortunately I experienced it as well. The products are expensive, but the service does not match the price. I would not recommend this brand and will not purchase again.

Won't honor warranty!

One of Brumate's big selling points is their 'limited lifetime warranty'. But upon using the warranty for a defect, I was told that they wouldn't send me a replacement part. I've put in for 4 replacement Leap lids due to the lid cracking in the exact same manner repeatedly ( a clear defect since it's cracking from inserting the straw as intended), and 3 of them were honored. It seems they no longer wish to honor their end of the bargain. No part of the warranty says there is a limit to how many replacement parts, and, in fact, calls out covering 'defects in craftsmanship'.

Don't buy from them if you want a product that lasts or a company that honors their word.

Horrible experience with product and company

Update: Brumate has gone above and beyond in their response to my issue. They have been so helpful and have done everything possible to help restore my faith in them! And they have. Thank you, Brumate for fixing this!!

The Brumate Resa product I just received is full of vomit or something! And I can not get ahold of customer service! Fortunately Amazon is backing me up. My advice is do not buy anything that says Brumate. 0 stars for both product quality and customer service!
