Mated Essex Queen
I ordered a british open mated Essex queen.
She was sent on the day I requested and arrived promptly and healthily the following day.
It's been 9 days now since she was introduced to a substantial, but broodless colony. I'm happy to say she has calmed the hive down and is laying well. A big relief!

Good communication throughout the process, kept up to date with bee building issues and made sure the nuc would only be ready to collect once they had inspected, this is good to see a supplier caring about the quality of their products.
Bees were very gentle when transferring to their hive.

They kept us well up to date with details about the availability of bees during the run up to our collection, ensuring that the bees' welfare always came first. Friendly and efficient in-person service on the day of collection, with the bees ready to go in their custom designed nuc.

Very happy so far
Very happy so far. Easy to use website, great communication and flexible postage. Queen was to replace a DLQ and has been accepted by the colony. Hopefully all will be good from here
