Following my complaint and BuchyMix's packaged response, I'm only just finding the time to respond to that days later, and honestly it's taken me this long because I knew exactly what kind of response I'd get and I wasn't in the mood to deal with more of it. Packaged, rehearsed, clearly written to look like damage control rather than an actual answer to what I raised, but for posterity sake I came back to drop a sincere response, because bad customer service irritates me and make it feel like I wasted my resources to get a service/product and this needs to be said properly. Funny that I finally get a prompt response and call ONLY once I posted on Trustpilot where you can't delete or manipulate a review, because the exact same review posted directly on your own website and social media just vanished. Says everything about what you actually care about and what you actually represent, which is image over substance.

I'll reiterate, regardless of your edited response: the import duty refund was not issued in full. The few dollars missing isn't what matters here, it's the fact that when I raised it, the person on the call still went defensive, had no real answer, she cited taxation that had nothing to do with the refund situation, clearly lacks accounting depth, and instead of listening to the actual context I was giving her, she was just eager to talk and defend. That's someone who didn't understand the issue and wasn't interested in understanding it.
Even with a receipt attached to the email showing and explaining exactly which card the import duty was paid on, not the card used for the original order, nothing changed!

What the call actually exposed is that, it was only once I pushed and spelled it out directly that they properly grasped what I'd been saying all along, which tells me the original complaint, and the emails before it, were never actually read or comprehended before that packaged response went up. The public response was then conveniently edited afterward to sound cleaner and more resolved, not because anything was actually fixed, but because now there was a tidier narrative to post once I'd done their comprehension work for them on the phone.

When we had back and forth as to why my emails, calls, IG direct messages, comments, and voice mail never got a response, I was told she simply didn't know why it had been missed, and that a separate team based in Nigeria handles the Instagram page, as if that excuse somehow absolves the company of responsibility for its own customer communication.

A pattern of my communication being ignored until I escalate publicly on trustpilot, and then suddenly someone had time to call me immediately because they can’t mess with this platform.

And let's talk about the WhatsApp number, because that one actually made me laugh out of disbelief. I was told on the call that it had been updated on their website since September 6th, as if I don’t know what I’m saying. I have a screenshot from September 11th, days after that supposed fix, showing the exact same broken number still sitting on your website, checked across more than one device but yet the person on call said it was my browser having cache issue. It’s just annoying that the person kept lying, manipulating the situation, very defensive to the actual issue which makes them sound non accountable and irresponsible. They assumed I wouldn't have proof of whatever I’m saying.

What really sets me off is the earlier response acting like my complaint was about the products themselves, when it was never product defect. That is clearly deflection and a textbook strawman! What they did is “answer a complaint nobody made so you can dodge the one that was actually made”. I am complaining that your communication process has been inconsistent, inaccurate, stressful, most times without response, and flat out dishonest at multiple points which affected the sales process.

I don't expect this to change anything internally, and I'm not naive enough to think one review moves a company like this or affects anything. But I refuse to sit quietly while you give a textbook response here on trustpilot and show absolute lack of regard in private.

People hand over real money trusting that a company will handle basic things with honesty and respect.
I have no interest in any further back and forth on this. It took me days just to respond calmly instead of in the heat of the moment, because bad customer service genuinely irritates my soul and makes whatever one purchased feel worthless, like you've been played for a fool simply because you handed over your money and trusted a company to respect you in return.

Customer service is horrible. They take ages to respond and when they do it has nothing to do with your request. Trying to return a faulty product was such a nightmare. Luckily I had purchased with my credit card, so I complained to the credit card company who refunded my money.

The issue was eventually resolved, although it took a long time. Thankfully, a solution was provided, and the shipping was fast.

I got what I ordered and am in love with it ❤️❤️

Have purchased blender, juicer and food processor from them and I can boldly say have returned all of them before for a swap
The most terrible one is the food processor, have returned it more than 3 times, this is a product I got for £169

Buchymix are extorting people, selling inferior products at an expensive price.

I have been using Buchymix blender for 4 years now and had to change the blender bowl as it had started to leek out from consistent usage. I love the new blender bowl as it fits perfectly on my motor and works perfectly. Delivery was fast too. Thanks Bucymix

I returned my product and on the website when sending it back to me, the sales rep wrote replaced instead of repair because it was the same thing I sent to them they send back to me, why not update repair on the website instead of putting replaced without replacing it

Excellent product

I ordered the Buchy Mix processor in early August and received it on August 16, 2026. When I inspected it, I discovered that some of the blades were missing. I contacted a representative to request a refund or replacement because I was already experiencing several issues with the product. I was assured that the missing blades would be shipped to me.
I used the processor once, but when I tried it again the next day, the blade was not rotating properly. I recorded a video showing the problem and shared my disappointment with the product. Since then, I have received no response or follow-up. The customer service has been disappointing and ineffective.
