I wrote a review a couple of weeks ago very disappointed about Rhododendron Fragrantissimum not producing scent. A week after opening its flowers, the replacement one is now producing a lovely scent, and the old one is even producing a mild scent!
My experience was that these flowers smell as soon as they open.Manifestly, this was not the case with these plants. Might I suggest that a lot of upset, and a bad review, might have been avoided if it had been explained to me that this particular cultivar might take a few days to begin to produce scent? Customer relations are very important.

I am an old Burncoose customer. Two years ago, I bought two Rhododendron Fragrantissimum. Neither produced any scent when they bloomed. Finally, after much debate, Burncoose replaced 1 Rhododendron.
They said the problem was the way I was cultivating the plant. Just today, the replacement is flowering: again scent-free. And as a life long gardener, and someone who has grown this Rhododendron before, I know the problem is the plant not the cultivation.
Then I ordered two Hamamelis Mollis two years ago.
One plant was manifestly a wild succour. After much debate, they finally agreed to replace that.
No apologies for all the time wasted, or for being sent the wrong plants.
I will never use Burncoose again.

Ordered a camellia for an anniversary gift, when received it was unhealthy looking and bug infested. Nobody responded to emails, so called directly, could not of cared less! I asked for a healthy plant to be sent out or a refund, they arranged for collection & informed me when collected I would be refunded. 10 days later yet again no correspondence & no refund!

I’ve been a customer for over 30 years and always been delighted with plants and the service. First place I go to when looking for special plants.

This is my favourite Garden Centre. I love the walled gardens, the quality of the plants for sale and the staff are always so helpful.

Very high quality plants, good delivery, very good range. I've used for years. Sometimes can get things elsewhere cheaper, but if you want quality or a specific variety of a shrub/tree, my first place is Burncoose.

The two plants we ordered arrived three days later, well boxed, good size, in excellent condition. Everything good.

I have been dealing with Burncoose over the last few years and have always been delighted at their helpfulness and response. I live on Guernsey but buy more cheaply (including transportation costs) with a wider selection and healthier plants from Burncoose. Highly recommended.

I placed the order for two Gardenia plants on a Saturday. I wasn't expecting delivery for at least five working days. The doorbell rang today, and there were the plants I ordered. Less than three wirking days, and the plants are in very good condition. They were well packed and lost not a drop of soil.
An amazing company, I wouldn't hesitate to place further orders.

Received today a Magnolia Sieboldii plant, really well packaged and protected, quick delivery and looks very healthy and a decent size too for the price, not overly expensive like some other online nurseries, will post a photo when planted.

Every item arrived in 2days, in perfect condition beautifully boxed and in spite of heavy and unexpected snow conditions. ordered another plant that was impossible to get elsewhere. came well boxed and beautifully grown. so excited to get this and so pleased with burncoose. have bought many plants from other nurseries and sometimes very very disappointed. so far not so with these people. it came in a couple of days from ordering too! many thanks
