Polio and osteoporosis
Having had Polio as a child I now use a rollator. I purchased the by Acre last October. Unfortunately I fall frequently and this rollator was totally useless as the brakes did not hold. I had two falls like this and once when with the brakes locked on and me sitting on it it moved away from me and I slipped off. There is no way I would recommend this for downhill slopes or ramps.
Contacting Assist Mobility was useless due to the passage of time. This occurred when a fall ended with a leg fracture and I was immobilised for six weeks.
I CAN however highly recommend a Trionic Walker. Heavier of course and much more expensive but safe as houses and you get what you pay for.

Rollator not available for months
I ordered the Butler end of February. At that time their website said it would be delivered in 4 - 5 days. Money was immediately charged to my credit card. When I had not heard from them about shipment in a few days I emailed. The reply was I would receive in April. When I had not heard back from them in April I emailed again. Reply was that I would not receive until May 25. They had billed my credit card because I was reserving a rollator.
If you need the rollator immediately do not order. It will not be available for months. They will not tell you this is the situation.

I bought the Overlander. What a waste of money.
I bought the Overlander when it first came out because it was advertised as a rollator I could use for walking in the forest trails as well as in the city. The fork broke within months (a design flaw Acre knew about) & a rear wheel loosened & wobbled. It took 6 months of negotiating with Acre, sending pictures & emails back & forth from Canada to Denmark, before they sent the replacement parts. Then I had to find a bicycle repair guy to install at my expense. It all broke again inside a few months of occasional use.
The Acre product is sold on the basis of a very slick Ad campaign. The Overlander is not worth one tenth of its cost. It has been a lot of trouble for an inferior rollator. Buyer Beware of this one.

Ich habe diesen Rollator von England für meine Mutter in Deutschland bestellt.
Vorteile
Der Rollator scheint stabil
Meiner Mutter gefällt, wie er aussieht - nicht institutionell
Die Kabel sind im Rahmen versteckt und hängen nicht außen herum
Der Rollator ist leicht Treppen hochziehen
Er lässt sich gut und leicht falten
Nachteile
Die Größen, in denen der Rollator angeboten ist sind für meine Mutter entweder etwas zu hoch oder nicht breit genug. Ihre Lösung ist den größeren zu benutzen und sich etwas schief hinzusetzen
Die Rückenlehne ist schwierig an und abzumachen und wenn sie befestigt ist kann man den Rollator nicht mehr falten. Für meine Mutter bedeutet das dass die Rückenlehne im Moment nicht brauchbar ist weil sie Arthritis in ihren Händen hat und deshalb das an und Abmachen nicht selber bewältigen kann.
Das Einkaufsnetz stinkt nach Plastik und wurde zurückgeschickt.
Die kleine Tasche, die dem Rollator beigelegt hätte, sein sollen war nicht im Paket und da war keine Möglichkeit zu erreichen, dass die Firma diese Tasche nachgeliefert hätte.
Die einzige Option war den Rollator zurückzuschicken und neu zu bestellen. Das Zurückschicken war für meine Mutter nicht möglich. Sie ist 88 Jahre alt und hat weder Smartphone noch Drucker noch E-Mail und die einzige Möglichkeit diesen Rollator zurückzuschicken war ihn von Hermes abholen zu lassen, wofür man vorher das Rücksendeformular ausdrucken müsste. Da man auch keine Wahl hatte mit dem Rücksendetermin (der nächstmögliche Werktag), war es auch nicht möglich für mich den Zettel in England zu drucken und ihr rechtzeitig mit der Post zu schicken.
Ich habe mich auch mit Amazon in Verbindung gesetzt und die Situation erklärt. Das hat nichts geholfen. Mir wurde gesagt, dass meine Mutter einen Laden finden kann, wo sie den Zettel ausdrucken kann. Das war nicht nur unmöglich, weil meine Mutter auch kein Smartphone hat sondern auch natürlich weil durch eine Großstadt laufen um einen Zettel auszudrucken für sie nicht leicht ist (was der Grund ist warum sie einen Rollator braucht). Wir haben uns deshalb entschieden auf die Tasche zu verzichten, auch wenn es sich anfühlt, dass sie uns versprochen wurde und dieses Versprechen nicht eingehalten wurde. Meine Mutter hat auch bei der Firma direkt angerufen was aber auch nicht mehr Erfolg hatte.
Insgesamt
Der Rollator ist gut, könnte aber noch besser sein punkto Zubehörs und Größenauswahl.
Der Kundendienst dieser Firma lässt deutlich zu wünschen übrig.
A lot of money for a beautiful but flawed rollator
Looking for a lightweight rollator with some kind of suspension to relieve pressure on my wrists and elbows on rough surfaces, I came across byAcre carbon fibre rollators and ordered one.
It arrived fully assembled and was really stylish. I liked the shape and orientation of the handles, the ease of changing handle height, hidden brake cables and its light weight.
I had also paid £40 for the optional cane holder - 2 bits of plastic that don't work very well and come off when I fold the rollator. Lastly, I purchased the travel bag - the zip of which broke on its fourth use.
Using the rollator : It's easier to maintain an upright posture and take longer strides with this rollator than others I've owned. The handles are comfortable but get dirty really easily. Using it on non-smooth surfaces has been disappointing - the pneumatic tyres reduce some of the jolts but they still "chatter" on grass, gravel, cobbles and uneven paving.
The reason for writing a review after 18 months of ownership is twofold. One is to provide potential purchasers with the pros and cons of the rollator. The other is because the rollator has developed a fault - one of the forks has taken to collapsing, rendering the rollator unusable. Looking for advice on repairs or servicing, I came across a video from byAcre about how to change the forks - so a known weak spot - and a link to buying spare parts... I don't think so!
Spending a lot of money on a nice looking rollator hasn't been a great decision for me. Buyer beware

Tusind tak for at lave et produkt som min Mormor kan være stolt af at gå med på gaden. "Min hvide Ferrari" kalder hun den. Jeg købte en hvid Carbon Ultralight i August og den har været brugt flittigt lige siden. Hun kommer nu ud på længere ture, fordi hun har muligheden for at tage de nødvendige pauser som det nogengange kræver.
Det produkt vil jeg klart anbefale til andre.

Noisy wheels for an outdoor design. Customer service is not listening at all ask ask ask ask but no solutions. Sep 25..I received a discount of 25% which is okay but in the mean time the locking mechanism fell apart. I had to reassemble it and used locktite to lock the nuts. Luckily I’m technical. Today the anti ramble set wil be delivered. Let’s see what is does.

I bought my Acre overland rollator as it is advertised as an all terrains walker .. I am at the seaside and it does not glide over sand it’s like pushing something through thick mud.. it is hard work .. similar to my much cheaper previous walker. It’s also hard work up hill and down hill it tends to run away with me. It looks nice but that’s not the point.

Service is echt zwaar onder de maat.
Levering duurde al erg lang en koste wat mail verkeer. Maar het retourneren was een nog moeilijker probleem. Weken verder en meer dan 15 mails verder en nog steeds het geld niet retour. Kunnen retour levering g niet vinden of nooit gekregen of we zijn er mee bezig.
Niet rechtstreeks via het bedrijf bestellen miss hoen via een dealer die wel een goede klanten service
They need to invest in customer service
I spent a long time researching rollators and the one I got is the right one for my needs, but dealing with this company is a headache, and I would have gone elsewhere had I known.
First, it just didn't ship for ages. I didn't get any notification that they were behind the times stated on their website, and emails/chats to their customer service team went unanswered for a week at a time. And when it did ship after I'd written in several times without receiving any specific time period, I wasn't notified that it had shipped.
It arrived and I was quite pleased with it, but one of the handles keeps slipping, making it pretty useless. I emailed them and of course, 3 days later still haven't had my ticket acknolwedged. It's a little distressing to spend a lot of money on a mobility aid that appears to have no reliable customer service behind it.
It really is a shame. I like the rollator, I just wish they actually backed it up with service.

indkøbs mulighederne er meget begrænset. indkøbskurv var ikke klar til brug, da snorene var itu ved ankomst af rollatoren, og dette er MANGE uger siden, uden hørt noget som helst.. Fejl v produktet. MANGLEDE 3 elestikker til holde på indkøbsnettet, kun 1 stk med!
